Fantastic food & absolutely lovely atmosphere! We choose this restaurant randomly and apparently it was unexpectedly perfect pick! Food they serve is very tasteful, I especially loved the fries & burger (it was big!). Would definitely love to visit it again. 💜

Food was good, but the atmosphere was not for me - it really felt like an old and hostile pub where patrons go to get black out drunk. But, if that's okay for you, it's probably not too bad.

This is local bar and you can enjoy beer. For fist visitor, it might be difficult to enter but once you are in, you can enjoy the atmosphere with beer.

Perfect food, perfect atmosphere

A great pub in central location. It was quite full but the place was a big enough to keep distance from other guests due to Covid 19 restriction. Dont forget to order Pilsner Urquell here, it taste good and so fresh.

I was counting on an interesting Czech taproom, but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. Very loud and noisy (although it may be understandable on weekend evenings), there are also problems with free tables (even bar chairs were probably reserved). In addition, some of the waiters have problems with knowing simple words in the English language and treat a potential foreigner like a freak.

Excellent bar! One of my favorites here. Girls who are working there that are friendly ! Specially Denisa we love her. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with bartender, he treated one my friend so bad, really, even my Czech friends were there and from that day we are not coming anymore. Just be careful when kitchen there is closed, because there is no food to offer and of course you cannot bring from other place. We had a miss understanding situation when I ordered beer for my friend before he came and when he arrived he had piece of pizza in his hands, covered by napkins, he was not eating at all and then arrive this bartender guy and yelling at him, we are not Czechs, and it’s easy to notice first of all because we are speaking English and second we were going there often, so this guy can pretty recognize us. Anyway I understood the body language towards to my friend and kicked him out bar just for that. He was not eating and this bartender guy was not warning us. If my friend were maybe the dialogue would be different? I have no idea. Just go directly to the back of the bar and find there Denisa she is amazingly kind.

A very vital place with typical (high quality) Czech food and with very courtageous and prompt staff. The pub is uniqly "decorated", according to its traditions. Right in the centre.

Always crowded, typical Czech pub. The hermelyn was remarkable, even in Bohemian standards. The Kozel 11 is the best choice from their beers on tap.

Fantastic pub in old Hradec Kralove. The Goulash (Gulas) is incredible and the way the beer suds stick in rings to your glass really highlights not only how good the beer is, but how good the barkeep is at pouring it.

Kind of local laid-back pub where locals comes for good beer and casual meal. If you dont expect high standart, just pub air with good beer and quite good food, its good choice. Just be aware of loudy atmospehere during evenings so its not a place for your first date, local youngs and wokers might hang around for beer. I had pilsner beer and pork ribs and I chose well!

Old pub with a great atmosphere, especially at the basement. Lots of locals eat there and the beer is excellent. I would say the best value-for-money restaurant in Hradec Kralove. It has daily menu as well as regular czech cuisine menu
