Best duck rice I've ever had! You may be dissuaded by the incredibly large crowds and waiting lines, but trust me, the food is absolutely worth it and even the locals know it! Must try the classic duck rice, and we love to add a fried egg with a gooey yolk on top. The fried dumplings looked very good although we did not try them today, and instead ordered some incredibly delicious duck blood in a savory, tangy chili pepper sauce. Must-try in Hsinchu!

It’s actually the best duck rice experience I’ve had in my life! But it’s usually packed so be ready to queue up during lunch and dinner hours.

Take the menu at the entrance for dine in and the pen is on the table. The taste is simply outstanding. The duck rice is very fragrant and you definitely need to pair it with the chilli sauce provided. The soup version of the duck vermicelli is awesome too!!

$80 for duck rice and egg, environment is very local and theres AC. Food is amazing and the best i’ve ever had for duck rice. However, it’s a little pricey and not too filling.

Please try the rice by all means. We had the rice noodles as well, but the rice was tastier. The soup and the veggies were nice too. Edit: the store opens at 11, that would be the best time to go. The store is usually packed between 12pm and 2pm, and the service personnels might not be as friendly since they seem pretty short-handed. Mar/11/2022 Edit: There's no easy way to explain this: order the rice and the sunny fried egg. That's one meal on its own. Have fun missing the good taste when you leave the place. If you're every in the area, this is one place you cannot afford to miss.

Have heard of this for a long time, and I was finally here to try it! The duck meat was really good, it wasn’t too old or too chewy to bite or swallow, and the egg was definitely a great addition on the rice, which the egg yolk would slowly flow down once you break it! It’s really famous in Hsinchu, so if you’d like to try this, it’s possible to wait for a minute for vacancy.

We ordered duck rice, meat ball soup, duck meat. Duck rice ordered by everyone seems overrated, small cuts of salty duck meat with soupy rice. Meat ball and its soup is good, would recommend this (which helps up the star). Duck meat is abit too salty, very thirsty after that. Service is not too friendly maybe due to being famous, a little too proud, environment just ok. Price is affordable. Being introduced and advertised by many vlogs about this shop, with high expectations we decided to come and give it a try. It is definitely overrated but I believe it is "nice" because it is a taste that recalls old time memories for many.

Simple shop with a long queue, but the wait was worth it. I ordered duck soup vermicelli and duck rice. I was already half full from snacks before this, and yet both dishes tasted delightful. The vermicelli soup is simple but tasty. The highlight is definitely the duck rice. The rice is soaked with savoury duck sauce, and the duck meat soft and tender. If sunny side up egg is available when you visit, definitely order that with duck rice!

The duck on rice are great, so as the duck blood soup. The place are very small. We were forced to share the table with a person who is continue coughing and apparent runny nose, which is really intolerable.
