Place has really fallen off. It was a good place to eat but now Service horrible food nasty. Do yourself a favor a just keep driving.!

This place has been here since my Mom was a young girl! She is now 74 and this has always been our place that we liked to go as little girls! Our parents took us here alot growing up. Got to visit yesterday for the first time in years! Cherry dipped cones have always been my favorite ❤️

This used to be my family's favorite place to eat for burgers sandwiches and icecream. Over the last 6 mths we have slowly stopped going. Service has gotten ridiculously slow and the food has been off or actually been spoiled. In June me and my daughter both got hamburgers. Her a cheeseburger and me a jumbo all the way. Both of our burgers tasted like the meat had gone bad. Stuff happens and we were already home so I dropped it and didn't say anything, the meat could been dated incorrectly. The next time we waited over 30 minutes for icecream cones. Our next visit my husband waited 45 or so minutes for 2 hotdogs and 2 hot ham and cheese sandwiches and the sandwhiches had spoiled tomatoes that tasted awful on them. Today was the last straw. My husband was picking up my lunch. Sweet tea and hot ham and cheese sandwich. Not the world's most difficult meal. He waited around 40 min to go check on it and was told "oh, you've been waiting awhile! We'll get that taken care of." An additional 30 min later it was ready with an I'm sorry and a free small fry which was soggy and cold. Nothing more was offered. AND he had to ask for the tea as they didn't have it ready. Needless to say, I don't know what has changed whether it be bad management, poor staffing choices, a lack of training or all the above but this Lenoir favorite won't last much longer like this. I WILL not be back.

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon. We ate outside at one of the picnic tables. The service was excellent. All of the ladies working were very friendly. They were quite busy, but I don't think anyone waited more than 10 min or so. Ice cream was good, and they had lots of topping choices, which was fun for the kids. Highly recommend for a nice lunch experience.

Prices went up but quality went down. Unfriendly staff. Given wrong order at first with no fries.

Been visiting this little place for many years. Every time I go back home I try to stop and get hot dogs. Just comfort food plain and simple..

Hands down my favorite ice cream place!! I mean they have other foods, but I only go for the ice cream as it's my favorite. Staff is super sweet and food is always delicious!

Food was dry, overcooked the sandwich we got was plain, asked for it a certain way. We tried couple different times but food got no better

Asked for soft cooked fries which I have got there before the guy who took my order said they had to cook food to certain extent I told him I had got soft cooked fries before got home fries wasn't soft cooked called asked for manager the same guy who took order said go ahead I told him the fries wasn't soft cooked he said really I said yea told him I didn't know if new people run it now but I told him I was going to let people know how sorry the food was

Nice people and quick service. The food is always good and my wife loves their ice cream. If you want a good cheap place to eat this is it.

Great food. Well worth the price. Best burger we've eaten in a very long time. We will be going back.

I think this place has decent food and it's just the norm for people to go there that are local. But I feel it would be a lot more inviting if you can see the people you're talking to that are taking your order. I know this can be unsettling for some people that are not used to the place. So if anyone reads this that can do anything about this situation please know that I am happy with the food but would love for this situation to be fixed if nothing else for your own good. Okay so let me start with this used to be my most favorite place to go get my lunch and or dinner over the years the prices have gone up and food has gotten less admirable. But needless to say I went today for the first time in a few months just didn’t have the time to go stand outside but I had a little free time today. So I get there and I have a list on a piece of paper it says 4 hotdogs with only slaw a large tator tot and a large ice cream. I get home because I chose to eat at home and my hotdogs have CHILIE ONIONS MUSTARD AND slaw… also a SMALL tator tot and a SMALL ice cream. I paid for a large tot and a large ice cream and I have allergies to onions. So I was quite upset. The only reason I added a star was cause I called them and explained the situation and they said they would remake my hotdogs for a refund so that was alright with me. Im sorry if I’m ranting but just wanted to share my experience. Thank you if you took the time to read this.

This place has messed up our orders so may time I have gotten rotten meat and bad tomatoes on my food and moldy bread and I had to go to the hospital bc the food made me so sick.

I called in my order and still had to wait 20 minutes on my order, this has happened several times. Food is good, but service sucks.

Horrible establishment, half the staff is 14-17 y/o. Place is falling apart and the food is mediocre Ig it’s even cooked fully. As well as judging people based off there skin, asking other employees if 14 old girl at her first job is “poor” “like really poor” rude and disrespectful as a grown manager.

Great hole in the wall. Kind of getting pricey but I do like it. Good burger and fresh. Thats all I ever get so I wouldn't know about anything else

Love this place they make great food and ice cream is great

All the food is delicious and so is the ice-cream and the people are very friendly. I eat there almost every day
