We
were
staying
at
an
apartment
in
Huesca
rented
from
the
owner
of
this
restaurant,
and
it
was
just
around
the
corner
so
went
to
try
it
out,
and
it
was
so
wonderful
we
went
back
again
the
next
day.
The
first
experience
was
on
a
Thursday
evening
when
Pulperia
hosts
a
weekly
Tapas
and
Copas
evening.
For
€3
you
get
a
drink
and
a
tapas
of
your
choice
-
we
tried
the
rice
with
mushrooms
and
chicken,
the
octopus,
cheese
and
ham
fritter,
meatballs
in
a
tasty
sauce,
tortilla
and
a
coffee
flan
-
all
delicious
and
very
generous
portions.
The
place
was
buzzing
despite
it
being
a
rainy
October
evening
and
the
owner,
family
and
friends
made
us
extremely
welcome.
We
reserved
a
table
for
lunch
the
next
day.
Online
we
had
thought
the
Menu
seemed
a
bit
expensive
but
in
fact
it
proved
to
be
great
value.
You
can
choose
from
the
a
la
carte
or
a
lunch
menu
at
€20,
but
we
went
for
the
€40
per
person.
It
included
a
half
bottle
of
wine
each,
bread,
water
and
coffee.
There
were
6
starters
listed,
but
you
do
not
have
to
choose
one:
you
get
all
of
them,
with
generous
portions!
So
we
shared
a
tomato
salad,
tuna
and
anchovies,
a
plate
of
Andalucian
ham
and
Manchego
cheeses,
juicy
large
prawns
with
a
dip,
grilled
baby
squid
and
finally
tender
octopus
with
pimiento
on
a
bed
of
potato.
From
the
choice
of
Mains
we
had
turbot
and
tenderloin
(solomillo)
of
beef,
both
served
with
peppers
and
fried
potatoes
and
perfectly
cooked.
We
just
had
room
for
dessert......
The
meal
was
relaxed,
timed
and
served
perfectly,
the
restaurant
is
very
well
managed
and
a
wonderful
experience
all
round.
No
wonder
it
is
so
popular
with
locals
and
visitors
alike,
do
go
if
you
can!
And
do
reserve.
