My experience at Nordik Spa was unfortunately far from enjoyable. The atmosphere was uncomfortable and stressful, creating a less-than-ideal environment for relaxation. The excessive noise and the lack of a serene environment detracted significantly from the intended relaxation experience, making it difficult to unwind and enjoy the spa facilities. The food quality was disappointing, with a lack of options adding to the overall dissatisfaction. The massage, rather than being rejuvenating, left me feeling nothing but oily, and I did not find it enjoyable. Overall, a disappointing visit that fell short of the relaxation I had hoped for. Let’s not get started on the food…Even the seemingly simple offerings, like chips and salsa, failed to meet expectations at Nordik Spa. The quality of this basic snack added to the overall disappointment, highlighting issues not only with the spa facilities but also with the dining experience provided. While the burger was deemed acceptable, it fell short of justifying its price. The overall dining experience, including the quality of the burger, did not align with the cost, leaving a sense of dissatisfaction in terms of value for money. Adding to the disappointment, the cost of Nordik Spa did not align with the expectations set for a premium spa experience. The overall value fell short, making the visit less satisfying considering the discomfort, food quality, and massage experience.

I love this place! Such an amazing spa. I was able to make a reservation for the thermal spa experience online and showed up at my selected time slot. It was easy to check in and get my wristband to pay for drinks and foods at the spa. You get assigned a locker and you have access to it the entire time. I love all the hot tubs, saunas and steam room. I went in November and it was snowing on and off but it was not a problem at all. The drinks were delicious and I love the fact you can bring your drinks everywhere.

I visited the Nordic spa for the first time a week after Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, I found the experience to be less than enjoyable, especially since it was during the winter. If you're someone who gets cold easily, you might want to avoid visiting during the colder months. The low temperatures made it difficult to relax and fully enjoy the experience. However, I can imagine that it would be much more pleasant in the summertime when the weather is warmer. On top of this, I also had trouble finding parking. I had to park down the street and walk all the way up to the spa because there was absolutely no parking available. This was frustrating and added an extra layer of inconvenience to my visit. Finally, to top off the disappointing experience, my robe was stolen during my visit. This made me feel like I had to be extra vigilant with my belongings and detracted from the relaxation aspect of the spa. Overall, while the Nordic spa might be a great option in the summer months, I wouldn't recommend it during the winter. Additionally, if you're planning on driving to the spa, be prepared for limited parking availability.

2023, my daughter treated me to my first spa day here and it did not disappoint! Had a fantastic massage, relaxed by one of the many warm fires after a hot swim. Loved the relaxing atmosphere and we moved around the spa and checked out all it had to offer! We had a perfect dinner in the dinning room to end the day. We may need to do this every year now! We are a hour away so after the long relaxing day we had to drive home , would possibly consider staying over and close by the next time. Prices were good , food was great! I honestly have no complaints!

A truly spectacular place to unwind, relax and re-energize. An extensive property that’s been very well laid out with many little “areas” to surprise the senses. Many different spots that offer something for everyone, wether you want complete silence or a little more “with the crowd” kind of time. Great meditative sounds abound… at just the right volume… amongst the trickling waters of the many creeks and waterfalls. Highly recommend the Hot Beds to unwind… and don’t forget to get hot, then cold, and then relax… and repeat! Our only disappointment was the price of drinks at the outdoor bars. Way overpriced. Spend a few hours or an entire day… either way, you won’t be disappointed!

Spa Nordik in Chelsea, Quebec, easily ranks as one of the best spas I've visited in Canada. The serene beauty of the place is matched only by the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff. Every aspect of the spa is designed to offer a deeply relaxing experience, from the tranquil environment to the expertly curated spa treatments. This spa is a perfect retreat for anyone seeking a peaceful escape and top-notch service.

One of the best spas I have ever been to. Well worth it. And you can stay as long as you want so you definitely get your money's worth. They offer a wide range of services, it is a big place so even though there is a lot of people, it does not feel crowded at all. You will always find a spot! They have different sections, a quiet one with no talking allowed or you have the section where you can laugh, talk loud and enjoy.. great spot to go to with friends or as a date! Great food and yummy cocktails! Loved it and will definitely go back!!!

We arrived at the spa at opening and we enjoyed the quietness of the spa for the first 2 hours. We were in the B changerooms, so I'm not sure if this reflects for the other change rooms, but we had no access to new towels. Especially in the cold, it would have been nice to know where to get them. Every restaurant staff was super friendly and service was great.

Lovely place to visit for a day and have a zen experience. It gets really hot in here :) The spa does give robes and, unlimited towels, tea/water. The infinity pool is where the action is at. Check out the rituals. They are great to join in. Amiable staff.

Will 100% return, I would every weekend if I could. I brought my sister here for a birthday surprise, she shed a tear. It was all so incredible, the staff was amazing, we only had chips and salsa for food (saving our appetites for heavy supper). We ordered a couple drinks, a latte and mimosa in the morning and a watermelon margarita and raspberry crush in the afternoon, very delicious but a little over priced, I will happily pay for it again tho lol. I wish we had know we had to pay for the floating pool room in advanced but we’ll return for that (hehe). My sister enjoyed her massage so much she fell asleep, she’s never done that before. They also take $150 per person off your credit card you use to book in advance (upon check in) for the spa and give back what you don’t use. Someone stole my sisters robe she just got cause it wasn’t wet, so watch your things when around a big group. Bring a book, water bottle, sandals and a toque for cooler days. We’ll be back every season to try this place out, probably more in between. It’s definitely a place to relax, unwind and enjoy. Thank you Nordik, see you again!!

Great place to relax. Go early or stay late. They close at 11pm. There’s definitely enough attractions to spend the day. From 10 hot outdoor pools to multiple saunas, warm stone beds and a weightless pool. Meditation room and places to rest. 3 eateries (pretty expensive as expected) serving finger food, bar and a la carte. Definitely a place to go multiple times. Going at the beginning of winter made the scenery astonishing and on a Wednesday meant that the pools weren’t full a definite must in Gatineau.

A nice day of relaxation in the warm saunas, pools and resting areas. The kalla was the best part of the day for me. Food was good from one of their 3 restaurants but took a long time to come to the table. In addition, I had also scheduled and received a massage in nature but it didn’t meet my full expectations or needs. Overall a good spa day trip.

We had a unique and relaxing experience at this place. Everything was clean and organized, and the staff was friendly and professional. We followed our friends' advice and went early on Sunday to avoid the rush hour. We arrived at 8:15 and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere until 10, when it started to get crowded. We smartly scheduled our massages and facials during this time, and then had a delicious lunch at the restaurant. We ordered the grilled beef, which was tender and juicy. The place was busy until 6 p.m, but then it became calm and quiet again. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a pampering day.

My husband and I loved the experience very much! We really enjoyed all of the amenities. The only thing I would have appreciated more would be the option not to add a credit card to your wristband, or the option to only add money to one. But overall, a magical and relaxing time! Definitely recommend for special occasions! We celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary there on Sept 6 🩷

I love coming here every year!! No matter the season or whether I'm alone, with my partner, or with my sister -- it's always a great experience! My only concern is how congested it can be; sometimes I'm not ever able to get into a few of the dry saunas or the rock beds because there are just so many people. I find the giant beds in the sandy area sort of useless, and the food proportions are bit small (4 slices of beef on mashed potatoes for $44 is steep), but everything else is great. I love the food, the vibe, the music, and the vast amount of options for pools and saunas.

A beautiful place for groups and friends. I was in town and did a solo trip and could see why this place was popular- tons of pools that allow cocktails, plenty of places to sit and enjoy food. Not my type of spa experience, I prefer less noise and crowds and would like more than one steam room- it was packed, small and not the cleanest. On a Sunday afternoon every sauna, pool was packed. They should limit the number of day passes. Not as relaxing when it’s pretty loud in most spots. The quiet zones are not enforced at all. Not the place to go if you’re looking for peace and quiet. Massage was fine nothing to write home about but the only place that was tranquil on the property, so I enjoyed it! Definitely a spot for couples or friends to enjoy with pretty scenery and drinks! Staff were super friendly!

my first and best spa village experience. amazed by the offerings and little touches here and there. had a great time checking off all the saunas on the list. the ritual and guided sessions were also quite the experience. lastly the food at the dot down restaurant was sooo good! the anchovies and spinach dip was out of the world and i never imaged pita bread to be this good too. would def recommend if you’re visiting ottawa and needed more stuff to do. without a car, the transportation was also not as big of a pain as i imagined. uber and taxi (can haggle) will do.

This was my first time here and it is so beautiful! Very relaxing and no pressure to do everything if you are not comfortable. The food was amazing at the sit down restaurant as well. I will absolutely make sure I can go back again.

amazing experience, the stuff is helpful and super friendly, always smiling and willing to provide great service. Everything is spotless and well maintained. I read a few comments about the crowd issue but we been visiting today (on Sunday, long Canadian weekends), wasn’t crowded at all. A few places to grab a brunch/dinner+ cool bars. The young host guy at the restaurant was super welcoming to us at the front. Also, give a try the experience spa which is happening every hour. Be in a sauna and listen the poem- wow!!!😍 Will definitely come back in the winter. Thank you for the enjoyable day.

Very relaxing place. The saunas are great. The pools are OK if you like it cool. Only two of the pools were above 30°C. Beautiful property, good food if a bit overpriced. Come for the whole day to get your money's worth. Bring ID for anyone who looks under 25, they couldn't explain why they need it, but they do require it. Also, they'll put a $150 hold on your credit card in addition to the $90 admission, so make sure you have room for it. If the front desk were more adept at customer service, the whole experience would be top notch. Instead, they piss you off right through the door so you need some extra time to calm down from check in.

This my second time visited here, the property very beautiful and calm! I went by myself feel very welcoming 🌟 the changing rooms is clean the outdoors have various options, loved the thermal cycle, saunas and love the Aufguss experience, infinite pool can watch sunset near by have two bars! Lunch I had salmon bowl ( delicious ) with two glasses of Prosecco from Italy ( not that cold ) total $73 with tips! Overall, it worthy this to spend a day there!

Beautiful get away. Great scenery. Relaxing environment. The spa is getting pricer for sure. If you plan on going I recommend going during a weekday and getting there as early as possibly just to enjoy some quiet before they over sell tickets. Definitely something I recommend enjoying at least once. I attended 7 months pregnant this time, there was still lots for me to do. I felt safe and relaxed.

Great experience at the spa. I was there in Feb 2023. The area is big with multiple pools you could try and seems well-maintained. One of the interesting areas was the Källa treatment which is a dark and slightly private indoor pool area where you float in saltwater. There is a high concentration of salt in that pool so beware if you just had a cut somewhere or just shaved. It will sting. I enjoyed the saunas, which you'll find a few around the property. You should take your time around the spa and weekdays are better since there will be fewer people around than weekends. I went on a weekday morning and it was quieter. Take some time to relax in the lounge and enjoy the drinks, food and the view. There are a few massage cabins and you'll need to check if you're at the correct building for the massage. The massage was average but I will return for the thermal circuit.

I went to spa for my daughters 17th birthday and we all loved it so much. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant, we felt so special to be at the spa they truly make you fell very welcomed from the check in clerk to the restaurant hostess. Their customer service is the best I have ever experienced at a company. The food was amazing, the premises was big and clean and I like it that they cater too everyone with the different sections. Out of the 3 other spas I have been to, it is absolutely my favorite. I can't wait to go back, thank you for a wonderful experience.

I really enjoyed my time here, having planned to stay for 4-5 hours I ended up spending close to 10 hours. There’s so many options to indulge in, you can really spend your entire day here. The variety of food options was great as well as dozens of different saunas, pools of all temperatures and the salt pool was amazing. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the locker rooms and the entire facility are very clean and well maintained. Depending on the time of day, it did get pretty busy towards the evening but there was more than enough space to find a place of solitude.

My husband and I come to Nordik a few times a year as it’s truly the best spa we’ve been to! The customer service is absolutely amazing, and the staff are so kind and polite. The facilities are extremely clean as well. The atmosphere it’s self is beautiful and relaxing. The food is absolutely delicious - everything on the menu is so unique, and you can taste the freshness. The cocktails are also very unique, and tasty - I like to call the Blackberry Lavender Collins Cocktail “Spa in a cup” On our most recent visit we got to experience the nature massage, and our massage therapist Elie was amazing! He was so kind, friendly, and polite and he really did an amazing job with our massages - we definitely recommend him and will be booking with him again. We look forward to our next visit soon!

This place is amazing!! It is such a healing experience. It is about $90 per person. Shower gown and unlimited towels were provided. There are few restaurants inside the spa ranging from fine dining to casual bar where you pay with preauthorized wrist band. There are water fountains but I recommend brining your own plastic water bottle to take around and drink whenever you are dehydrated. A lot of different type of spas and various hot and cold tubs! They also have special rituals spa you can watch at set times. We stayed for 5 hours but wasn’t enough to enjoy fully! We ate at Resto (fine dining—main one) the food was delicious and flavorful. In addition, I purchased massage in nature and I enjoyed it a lot. You get to go to little cabin and choose your own oil and you can feel fresh air and see the view. I definitely recommend it.

One of the best Nordik spas in Quebec, basically has it all! Only complaint would be in the whisper zones, it pretty much felt like the social zones. However was the first beautiful day, rain free smog free in a while, so was nice to see everyone enjoying themselves! Service was amazing, food at each of the restos was great and beverages too. Locker rooms and facilities were pretty immaculate for the amount of people there. Felt like a day at an all inclusive , definitely coming back!

There are many spots you can choose to calm your mind, fireplaces, silent zones, sleeping zone, cafeteria, restaurants, food coart, underground salty water pool. You can come alone or with friends, You have massages, facial, etc. Their staff is very nice, spa is very clean, nice music, heating spots are available, and my favorite swinging chairs are as well. Food is delicious, always fresh. The parking is free. Try it. Recommended.

This is a wonderful and relaxing spa to attend. The pools were large enough to fit all attendees. There was a large variety in the temperatures of the pools. The drinks and food were extremely over priced and I would account to spend at least an additional $50-100 on this. They give you wrist bands to pay so it is easy to lose track of your spending. They give you robes to wear, but I would beware of leaving anything in them as I lost a water bottle and a bottle of sunscreen from other people taking my robe while I was in the pools on two different occasions.

Loved every minute of it. Had a facial, massage in nature, did the pools and the KALLA! The restaurant was delicious. I was there 230 pm till close at 11pm. Wish I went a bit earlier as I could have used the time for the pools since I had two treatments. The evening was the best time! Everyone cleared out going home or supper.
