Edit: After reading the other reviews of this location I have a serious question for McDonalds. Why do you allow this location to bring down your name and reputation? It's clear that it's not operating to the standards it should be. Why don't you step in and make it better? If it were possible to leave a 0 review, I would. This place is by far the worst McDonalds I've been to. Staff are lazy and don't care. I ordered a lot of food through the app and chose curbside pickup. After 25 minutes and the Mcdonalds app telling me my order was complete, it became clear to me they had no intention of bringing it out. I went inside to see about 7 or 8 staff wandering around and filling only drive thru orders. After about 5 minutes I finally convinced someone to look for my order, which they had no idea about. Finally they realized it had just been forgotten and the bag was on the counter with the order half filled. Sundaes melting on the counter. They had to make fries of course because on a Saturday evening at dinner time, why would they have those ready to go. Another 15 minutes later, I got the rest of the order and after filling the drink from a disgusting dirty counter top, there were no lids at all. So back to the counter to let the manager know and to ask for a lid. She didn't think it was a big deal at all clearly. No apology about the 45 minute wait for food or for the dirty store. The entire staff needs to be fired. They're lazy and clearly don't want to be there and don't want to work.

This place was great but has gone off the cliff... Flies everywhere, the drink bar always dirty and not supplied. Service is friendly but extremely slow Edit: four years later and this is still the dirtiest McDonald's in the area

Ridiculous. This Mcdonald’s is a joke, A) the food is assembled absolutely horribly. B) There have been countless times i’ve gotten fries and can tell they just re-fried them.. this is what they do when they’re lazy to cook new/fresh fries. You can tell by how soggy, HOW and brown the fries are.. C) they randomly close the location when it’s a 24/7 restaurant.. on delivery apps too.. D) not many of the cashiers are bilingual, which is a problem since Gatineau is right beside ottawa.. and the french here is like a “slang” french so that doesn’t help. E) Not to mention, the workers look miserable.. Overall, if i were you, i’d avoid this location. And to the manager, please work on these things.

Absolutely awful experience every time myself or my family has had when ordering from here. The staff are always making mistakes in the orders, or completely leaving items missing from the order. Today my family ordered a cheese burger which was missing from the bag and I also ordered a spicy mc chicken and when I got home and opened up the burger, it didn't even have the top of the bun.. Just the bottom bun and piece of chicken. Never if my life have I seen such poor service from an establishment. The is the most incompetent staff I have ever seen and you all deserve to be fired. You lost my business and my families for good. I will be telling as many people as I can to stay away from here as well. To anyone reading this, don't touch this place with a ten foot pole!

This place is the most lucky place because it is located in very high density residential area in Plateau. It is always very busy and full of actions. However, the service is very slow and the place needs improvement to keep the place more clean and pleasant.

After waiting 31 minutes in the drivethru, and sitting at the speaker for 7 minutes while the other speaker had 3 cars go through and no one acknowledged us, we drove up to the window to give our number for our order, we finally got our food, the only good thing was that the food was decently fresh. However, we ordered a 6 piece nugget meal and only 4 were in the box. By far the worst McDonald's experience I have ever had.

I regret coming here every time. Slowest service even for a simple small iced coffee. The sandwiches are poorly made and custom orders are not taken into consideration (like an extra patty). I also heard an employee ask a customer why they dont want their cold fries.

My burger and fries were well made compared to other McDonald's I've been to. The only bad thing was that the one drink machine had no ice so the Coke was warm. Ick. Luckily, there was a second machine right beside it that did have ice. Service was fast, and the dining room was quite modern looking. A good place to hang out with friends while eating.

I want to get McDonald’s at night after a long and tiring drive, the workers had attitude. Also they forgot most of my order and said I didn’t pay for a large fries, but I did. The workers also didn’t put the receipt into the bag. Isn’t that illegal not putting the receipt into the bag?

Worst McDonald's in Canada for sure. We order 2x in 1 weeks because we are moving and don't have times to cook and late. First time: they forget my Big Mac in a meal. Second time: they forget the FRIES! A real joke.

They just dont care. Dont honor the deals, lazy staff that doesn't do their job and act entitled. Sandwiches are awful, it is not hard to work at Mcdonalds but this staff has no idea what their doing. I dont know how they expect to get any other job if they cant even do this right. Place looks like there is 0 management. It is McDonalds so I dont expect above and beyond service but atleast a clean restoraunt and a competent staff that can make a burger and know whats going on. Especially for the prices they charge nowadays

Extremely slow, no understanding of orders Not serving customers at a first come first serve basis. Food is not fresh or hot. One of the worst McDonald's in the area. Prices for McDonald's has risen and is not even worth it for garbage food.

It took more than 20 min to be served! At the 20 min mark and after looking at my ticket on the stand I told the staff that I would like my food, her answer was appropriate and polite but still had to wait for another 5 min before my food was served. Printing the ticket might give you points by the head office but it does not give the client his/her food! It is called cheating!!

-No printer paper in the self serve kiosk. -Girl asked me what drink goes with the happy meal (it's written on the receipt), so I told her apple juice. She walked away and never came back. -Happy meal didn't come with the book I selected on the self serve kiosk. -People just standing around not knowing what they're doing. -The drink station is always dirty as hell, the lids holder was sticky and almost empty. -All of this while there was 3 people waiting for their food. It wasn't even packed. These people need training and a manager.
