Cute cafe, very packed but we were there on a weekend so that's understandable. Coffee was alright. I had a brownie and the staff did not tell me that there was cherry in it; the cherries looked and tasted like they were scooped out of a jam jar and ruined the entire brownie. Would be best to advertise it as a cherry brownie next time. Edit due to owner’s amusing and condescending response: Actually, the menu on your wall just labels it as ‘brownies’. Maybe you changed it since I last visited but you can see in other recent menu photos it’s just ‘brownies’ as well. If you labeled it black forest brownie I would agree it is adequate to explain the contents. I wouldn’t have wanted a new baked good, I don’t want free items. I only give critical yet honest reviews based on my experiences, I’m sorry you mixed up your own menu. Cheers!

Great coffee and service! The vibe is bright and welcoming. Loved the ginger molasses cookie and Aussie cappuccino

Croissants were terrible. They were not freshly baked. The Croissants were so dry. Staff member promised a refund and never processed it. Beautiful place, good coffee and terrible baked products. Do not recommend. Find a better place for this money

The cafe is aesthetically pleasing and has the calm vibe with light music humming in the background. The staff is elaborate with explaining the menu and the brews and the taste profiles. We visited this on a Saturday afternoon and ordered a few brews and loved them. A really cool place to hangout. Or work.

A bright, clean modern storefront with unfortunately not very much seating. I really enjoyed the cappuccino and the brewed coffee. They have some interesting and unusual menu drink items as well, which I will have to try next time. The vibes are less cozy coffee shop and more art gallery-like.

Popular little coffee shop in Glebe. Coffee is good. Cappuccino presentation is beautiful. I recommend they include more choices of treats and maybe light snacks for breakfast.

Good concept, some poor execution. Can see why this is popular with the hipsters. Right next to a cannabis shop! Some lovely art work! Shame the hot chocolate wasn’t to my liking as it is a bit sweet. I’d recommend going with something like Milo instead as a unique offering - can’t speak to the coffee but believe it to be good. Donuts are amazing but are put in a bag so the topping ends up on the paper rather than on the donut. Nice place though - worth a try. Edit: I amended some of my comments as I received a polite reply from the cafe - always a good sign in my book. Thanks for taking the time to review my feedback and apologies if it was a little harsh initially.

A hip coffee shop accompanied with friendly customer service. I like the seating arrangement but I found the background music a bit distracting. I enjoyed my cappuccino and the prices are standard. Good experience overall.

Its a very cool, hip spot for coffee drinkers. The place has good lighting, minimalist decor and wide tables where you can do some work/study. Coffee is good, baked goods selection is limited but tasty.

My favourite coffee shop in Ottawa (and I've done my research...) with the kindest, most welcoming staff. There's always an amazing batch brew on, the baristas will get to know your name and give you Wordle support, and the treats are dynamite. No, they don't take cash anymore, and no, there aren't a zillion roasts brewed at all times, but if you demand that big chain experience, there's one up the road. Lovely, local little gem.

Friendly Staff, The latte we ordered was exceptional, undoubtedly one of the best I've had. However, on a hot and humid day, the lack of air conditioning made it quite uncomfortable inside. It would have been much more enjoyable with a cooler environment and the cookie I had was a bit disappointing as it seemed to be a little old and not as fresh as I had hoped.

Amazing coffee and amazing vibe – one of the best coffee shops in the city. Thank you for always making a cup of a delightful flat white for me

BEST coffee in Ottawa, hands down (and I’ve tried many, many other places). It’s consistently perfect here. Good selection of sweet treats like cookies and squares, too. The chai latte tastes a bit watered down and the spiced capp is just strange, so I stick with regular lattes and cappuccinos and I’m never disappointed!

Their filter coffee is very acidic. If you are someone who enjoys their coffee with a tang, then you would like their roast.

If you are looking for the best latte in Ottawa - LOOK NO FURTHER! Take it from someone who has sampled beans from all over the country. Vegan friendly and unpretentious. Truly the only beans ever.

What a cute little spot. Great environment as friendly staff. I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it was great! Glad a friend recommended checking this out while I was in town. If/when i am back in town i will be back to conjure coffee!

I feel bad for giving a review without actually trying the food but the atmosphere was so pretentious that as soon as I sat down I had to leave. the one lady told us to sit anywhere we like. once we did, a gentleman told us this area was closed off and we needed to move. No apology, no explanation as to why. we sat at a different area and most of the food was vegan with a very limited option for non vegan food. It was also a little pricey. I feel like I should try their coffee but because of their service I don't think I'll go there again.

Had a salted caramel latte. I like how the lattes are not overly sweet and made to order. It was my first time and I definitely want to go back and try more. It's seating part was closed due to social distancing, but I bet it's nice to sit in when it opens back up.

The location of the cafe looks like an old fire station renovated to this big beautiful forest of green with indoor and outdoor seating. For such a big venue I expected a seated service but they run a order-at-the-counter business which I get the convenience and savings on employee budget but as a customer I'm glad we came at a less impacted time because waiting in line to order would just be annoying.

Coffee was very good. Unfortunately the barresta was in a hurry and did not froth my milk very long. My coffee was lukewarm at best. When I order a cup of coffee to go I would expect to be there and out the door within five minutes. Unfortunately I was there 13 minutes from paying to actually getting my cup of coffee. I really enjoy neighborhood coffee houses too bad this one has large growing pains. If you’re not in a hurry I would recommend their coffee. But keep an eye on the temperature.

I freaking love the vibe at this place! Very modern and well lit, with tons of seating area. Lots of space to have private conversations, get some work done, or just enjoy a delicious coffee and some food. They’re pourovers are hard to beat, and they’re espresso drinks are fantastic as well. We got breakfast here, and it also did not disappoint. This is a great spot that’s really close to downtown.

The coffee and Conjure is really good but the customer service has been pretty bad the three times I've been. I almost felt as a burden to the staff that they had to make my drinks, I don't know any other way to put it.

Visited for a quick light caffeine visit. The cafe is aesthetic and calm, it was nice place to chill and enjoy our coffee/tea. I enjoyed my Imperial Jasmine! It was light and smooth. This cafe is cozy and seats about 6 people on tables and 8 on benches!

Shortly after arriving in Ottawa and dropping things off at our hotel we decided to run out for an early afternoon cold beverage and snacks. Little Victories is a stunning spot with great atmosphere, good snacks and great drinks. We ordered: Brown butter rice crispy square Lime macaroon Apricot granola bar Iced chai latte Sadly we didn't order any traditional coffee beverages so I cannot speak to that.

Ordered a drip coffee and espresso(not pictured). Drip coffee of the day was Ethiopian and it was perfectly sweet and light, but they usually have a different origin on drip. Talked to a barista on the roast they use and he was very informative on the origin and tasting notes. I love the simple and clean aesthetic they have and the quality coffee. A really nice place to just sit and enjoy a good brew.

Amazing spot with amazing coffee. While we were visiting Ottawa, my toddler and I went to this shop for coffee and croissants every morning. The staff were amazing, the vibe was super comfortable and welcoming. The coffee (and coffee chat) was great. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Honestly, what more could you want in a coffee shop? The decor is adorable, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the coffee is always great! It can get a little busy and the space isn’t the biggest around, but even when there’s a line, knowing you’re going to get a solid coffee and a warm smile from the team makes a big difference!

Fantastic atmosphere and the pour over Kenyan is briskly refreshing. Although the serving quantity for a pour over is somewhat tiny, it was a wonderful cup of pour over. At $5, it's not the cheapest cup of pour over by any measure, but the enjoyment factor is worth a return visit when I am in the neighbourhood. I personally pour an exception pour over, so this is all the compliment this place needs. Good Job.

Little Victories ' second location now open in the Glebe is a wonderful place to stop in and enjoy coffee made with love and care. Beautifully decorated and spacious, you can relax and enjoy a 'magic' or one of the many other lovingly poured drinks. Make this a regular stop and you won't be disappointed.

Simple & very clean designed coffee shop. I don't know who makes their donuts but they're amazing. The flat whites are very smooth. I came because they are a local coffee roaster. There is only street parking & it is handicapped accessible.

Great venue, but definitely not my type of coffee. Self roast often provide you with a light, vinegry and herby taste. Personally, prefer a rich italian coffee with a nice crema for my espresso. Again, this is personal taste.

Would not come back here again. Staff didn't bother to see who was queueing and allowed others to cut the line. Not only was the staff not very friendly in taking my order, they were very clear in showing how they do not care who's their customer. Drink that were ready were just left at the pick-up counter with no calls made or no labels to show what the drinks were. Staff clearly needs to be better in customer service.

Very cute place, with good coffee, and Suzy Q donuts ? The staff is super friendly and can make a great coffee. It's a bit small on the inside but the staff never rushes you to leave. Parking was a bit tough in the area, but that's the Glebe for you. Suzy Q donuts we're good, but I still prefer to get them from Suzy Q directly. I enjoyed my visit, and would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Delightful coffee and doughnuts. You can really tell they care about their craft! Mostly friendly staff except for the tall brunette Australian dude who is pretentious and pretty rude. My gf asked them to add a tea bag to one of their beverages a while ago and the response was ‘I mean, I’m not going to make two drinks for you’; assuming she was trying to get a two for one or something. We said we would pay for the extra teabag, but the response was so off putting that we just decided to leave. He did apologize for coming off as rude which was appreciated, but just left a bad taste in our mouths!

Brilliant! Delicious coffees and tasty donuts & pastries to accompany. We arrived from Australia a few weeks ago and have been searching for a quality local cafe and roaster. Gave Little Victories a go after reading that one of their founders had spent time working as a barista in Melbourne. Us Aussies can be very picky (snobbish even) about our coffees, and honestly we had struggled to find decent coffee since getting here, but these guys have absolutely nailed it! We’ve been back to Little Victories a few times now and the coffee is consistently good, as in Australian standard good!

Highly recommended! Worth checking out especially during Covid-19, such a tough time for so many, but also a time when Ottawa’s best coffee can still be procured, for the time being from an adorable shipping container powered by solar panels. Find it tucked into the laneway behind the Bank Street storefront. Way to make the best of a bad situation. Plus the staff is nice AF.

Hands down, the single greatest coffee roasters I have ever tried. If you are a fan of coffee. The 7-10 split espresso is as close to African civet cat coffee I have ever had. Incredibly well balanced, delicious notes of citrus and cocoa on the end. I have tried every single place around. Ranked shopes in Montreal. Ordered online for ridiculous prices from all over the place. LVC takes the cake. Your search is over, now go buy some coffee.

Fantastic little cafe. On our most recent visit they were out of donuts, at first this seemed like a disaster, however, I noticed they had 2 brownies. Honestly, best purchase of my entire life. This may seem like an exaggeration, it is not. It was the best Brownie no holds bar. End of story, purchase a brownie, name your child after me. You're welcome.

I've only had the espresso, but it's easily the best Ottawa has to offer. The espresso blend is nicely balanced, with a pleasant acidity and REALLY nice chocolatey finish (I've had it at the shop and I buy the beans). They also have some really fun single origins if you want to explore what coffee has to offer. You really owe it to yourself to give it a try if you haven't already.

Ordered my coffee online at 7pm. Coffee arrived at my doorstep 3pm next day delivery. Unreal service at the best of times let alone in the middle of a pandemic. As for the coffee...it’s second to none in the Ottawa region and the 7-10 split espresso works so well with my Gaggia classic at home.

Seriously good coffee for the serious coffee drinker. This coffee shop has a great spacious environment to enjoy coffee and conversation. Great spot for business meetings as well as they have 3 separate rooms which keeps the noise down. Parking is a bit annoying, but I have always found a spot either in their lot or on the street.

A local favorite right by the river and within walking distance of downtown. Perfect summer spit with patio and seating, and a cozy Interior for rainy days. They serve some of the best locally roasted coffee in Fort Wayne and the staff are always friendly and most excellent indeed. "Be excellent to each other"

  • 4/5 Philip P. 3 years ago on Google
They have their own coffee they roast. The tea selection is usual. They have a strong focus on lattes. The place is cool. It has its own style. Imagine that you had to use antique furniture store for a modern space. Retro modern vibe. Parking is the roughest. There's room for 12 cars total. On busy days, you consider street parking. If you are in the Columbia one way street looking for parking, look for a side street and walk. Definitely Fort Wayne weird.

Hand-made- in- house corn tortillas on the pork taco was a nice touch. My dish was the Confit Carrot with "crunchy stuff" goat cheese and a poached egg: Ridiculously inventive and insanely delicious! We sat at a little table surrounded by plants and sunshine, great way to start the day!

HANDS DOWNS! Best Coffee in All of the Midwest. Just Gotta say it. Their Roast or Nothing. Looking for a Recommendation? (1. Lavender Cortado) (2. Double Shot/ Doppio) (3. Nitro Cold Brew) (4. Pourover)

I love Conjure Coffee. My favorite thing there is the lavender latte. Their pastries are great too. I definitely recommend Conjure.

Impossible parking, very limited drink menu, not friendly staff, better places in town.

This is my go-to coffee place. Their single origin coffees are absolutely amazing. Staff is the best! Always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Their cold brew coffees are fantastic, and you have to try any of their natural process Ethiopia coffees (Guji and Yirgacheffe are my personal favorites). Really cool atmosphere and vibe too! 100% recommend!

Delicious coffee, kombucha on tap (but they sometimes run out), a vibe that is altogether eclectic, light, airy, comfy, cozy, and yet also roomy. I’m from FW, currently live in Minneapolis and prior to that in Denver and Indy,. I frequent many coffee shops and Conjure tops most, if not all, in terms of overall vibe: natural lighting mixed with dimly lit spaces; plenty of outlets and separated seating, gorgeous plants.

Favorite coffee shop EVER. Been to many places from NY to LA to Chicago to Indy & Cincy. My favorite coffee comes from here and there's no comparison. I get the Lavender Latte w/Oat milk every time and its perfect temp and perfect flavor. They make everything amazingly fresh: fresh grounds, fresh brew (coffee, tea, what-have-you). This means if it gets busy things can get a bit slow. But as long as you're aware of that going in, it's well worth it. This isn't Dunkin or Starbucks. Conjure is about quality, not expediting mediocre quantity of coffee. Their avocado toast during brunch (w/Fife bread or GF) is also amazing. Especially +bacon. And I'm still able to afford my house ;) Parking is tight so if you've never been try to go early on the weekend for your first time. Cozy and plenty of seating for reading, getting work done, or catching up with friends. ALSO, they host local baker GK Baked Goods items throughout the week + Hetty Arts' Donuts on Saturdays. Always tasty treats. So much of what Conjure uses (eggs, bacon, bread, etc) is local. It's all-around great. I'm happier every time I go here for however long I'm here.

Has the modern decor of white walls dashed with flora, serves well made coffee with even better food that accomodates any diet. Price is a little high, but the quality of the perfectly portioned food leaves no regrets.

I travel a lot and work out of many different coffee shops and it’s nice to find good coffee, but it’s even better to be welcomed somewhere. This place made me feel at home. Their coffee is delicious and I highly recommend their avo toast, the bread is INSANE! It’s local, delicious, and filling.

We are in town visiting family. Found this gem a few blocks from where we are staying. Lattes were excellent but what really impressed us was the fresh food. Their scrambled eggs and avocado toast were beyond amazing. Everything is fresh and we watched the great care the chef took to make. Excellent customer service and great vibe. Highly recommend if you’re in town. Will definitely come back whenever I’m in town.

I try to partake in a new coffee experience every time I travel back to the Fort. Conjure has skyrocketed to the top of my list for coffee (and roasting!). The Cafe Miel (milk, espresso, honey, cinnamon) was a perfect balance of smooth and sweet. The Cortado was equally delicious and bold. Lots of seating and little nooks to lounge and sip, plus cute decor touches with the plants and artwork.

I know that Conjure is known for its coffee (which is top-notch); however, I just had the best plate of scrambled eggs from there this afternoon. Good coffee and great food-- you can't go wrong with this place!

The Coffee: I got their version of a cortado which is called a Magic. It was magic. Still savouring it now as I write this review about an hour later. The Sweets: Suzy Q Donuts. Went along perfectly with the coffee. Those cookies looked pretty good too, so maybe next time. The Service: Nothing can ruin a good coffee shop experience more than the wrong kind of people. But the ones working here were all very pleasant and genuinely friendly. You can tell the locals love this spot, as they wait in line- it's not like a Starbucks where they are just apathetically expecting to be served what they ordered- no they are eagerly anticipating something special. I imagine that during peak times there's a bit of a wait, but it would be worth it here. Pricing: I picked up 2 of those Magics, 1 Huge Suzy Q donut, and it was only about 10-11$ plus tip. (These people are working across the street from a construction zone in the heat while wearing masks, make sure to tip them) Atmosphere: I'll update this when the pandemic restrictions are over, but they are making the best of a bad situation. Overall, I feel bad for any coffee lover that doesn't know about this place.

I would have never found this place had I not googled good coffee shops. I've driven past for years and never stopped. I was missing out. Go round back and you'll find this cute stop. Had a cappuccino and it was out of this world delicious with macadamia milk. Love love this place. Will be back for sure.

The best coffee in town … time after time. Their new location on Elgin is simply stunning and … much like their coffee … a blend of comfort and refinement.

One of the best espresso places in town. I was first introduced to their espresso a few years back in oat cotoure and was very happy to see them opening a couple of locations. Americano/cappuccinos is a must try.

My favourite espresso in Ottawa! I am also very impressed by their coffee delivery service, I ordered at 10am and I had it less than two hours later! Great local business that I always walk away surprised by the great level of service.

No offense to Bridgehead, Happy Goat, Morning Owl and the other coffee shops I tried, but this Little Victories takes the cup for best coffee in Ottawa. Had a natural Columbian and Kenyan pour over, and the notes were dancing on my tongue. Also note none of the other places offered pour overs. Friendly staff, and a very chill cool vibe. Totally made me feel at home. I can't deny my hipster preference. My wife had a nitro cold brew and she said it was smooth and amazing. Also love the animal prints and stamps on their bags, cups and decor. Feels Canadiana.

A cute and cozy coffee shop that is a fun place to get a beverage. While I like coming here, I must confess that I prefer their downtown location that is near the war memorial.

This coffee shop is a great spot for coffee drinkers looking for a cool and hip atmosphere. The seating is limited, but the staff is super friendly and the coffee is really good. The minimalist decor and good lighting make it a great place to work or study, and the baked goods, particularly the donuts, are delicious. Even non-donut eaters were impressed with the variety of flavors and enjoyed the quick bite options like the magic espresso, lemon pistachio, wonder crunch, and cider. Overall, this coffee shop seems like a great place to grab a coffee and a tasty treat.

The cafe from the outside looks petite and cute but is actually quite spacious and has a lot of seating space. The staff are lovely and the coffee and chai were delicious!

There are so many good things I could say about this location. The coffee is incredible, whether it be a drip, latte, or even a tea. Pastries are phenomenal, even though some of them are seasonal, it only adds to the experience and I’d go as far as to say that 99.9% are exquisite. As far as staff is concerned, these are some of the kindest people I’ve ever encountered. They truly make me feel welcome, and excited to go get my coffee every morning. Little Victories is a shining example of what a coffee shop should be, and I am geniuely convinced that the Glebe wouldn’t be the same without it!
