Another awesome find in this fun part of Ottawa! Tooth and Nail is a boutique brewery that serves up a great range of beers, tasty snacks in a chilled atmosphere with great service! We enjoyed sitting outside - perfect for warm Ottawa days! Really fantastic experience!

Best brewery in Ottawa. Had a brown ale, their Vim and Vigor pilsner, and tried another IPA. All three were incredible, and I ended up staying longer than expected. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, where I can see myself coming for a beer and reading a book to kill time.

Great location, atmosphere, service, food, and drinks. No complaints whatsoever! And they sure do brew a mean brew. The selection is on point, with a wide range of flavors for different tastes. Ranging from refreshing fruity summer to dark comforting winter ales. The patio is intimate, but not crowded. Inside seemed like a zoo so we didn't sit inside. It has a darker, almost grungier feel to it. Outside patio was light, airy, with a really great feel to it. The food was fantastic. Definitely get the chips and dip, especially if your just there for a few brews. Perfectly salted crispy chips with 2 of the best dips you'll have. Sample every! Even the ones you think you won't like. We were both pleasantly surprised. Location is good, with parking along the street. Even when it's busy there's still somewhere to park the car. Suffice it to say, very enjoyable experience. Even someone that's not a beer drinker will enjoy this and they will have something that they will for sure enjoy. Cheers!

I havent eaten here, but I wanted to share my experience. I asked the staff if I could sit here to wait for a ride home. Beyond accomodating, they welcomed me and also brought water. Will be bringing my family here soon

Tooth and Nail is a fantastic craft beer place, in part because the beer is legitimately good, but mostly because the atmosphere is excellent and everyone who works there is absolutely lovely. 10/10 across the board.

One of our favorite breweries in the city. Beer is exceptional and staff are always super friendly. Would never hesitate to go here for drinks and snacks. To go beers is always a bonus to take home.

Tooth and Nail Brewing, nestled in the heart of Hintonburg, embodies the essence of an ideal brew pub. As you step through its unassuming entrance, you're greeted by an atmosphere that exudes warmth and intimacy. My absolute favourite brewery and pub in Ottawa. Awesome beer, super friendly staff and cozy chill vibe. Sweet little patio in the summer too! Try the Fortitude stout on nitro, you won’t regret it. Also a great place to hang out solo with a book at the bar.

We came here with some family. The beer and food is great! The service was okay. My husband ordered a sandwich which initially didn't come. It was missed by the server but it was rectified quickly. Mistakes happen.

This brewery has a wonderful selection of in-house brewed beer. If you are coming for the beer, you should not be disappointed! The food menu leaves something to be desired; the options are limited and preparation quality is average.

Great venue! Super deceiving from the outside, which looks quaint and cozy, this place is quite large. It's incredibly clean. Has a great ambience inside. Service was top notch! Very knowledgeable staff and brew master. Delicious beer and yummy bar snacks. Thanks for a great afternoon. We really enjoyed our tasting! 🍻

Good vibes and beer. Would have wanted a bit more hop forward on the anniversary brew, but different strokes for different folk.

I happened to have the good fortune to meet Andrew on an unrelated matter, and it came up in conversation that he owned Tooth and Nail. I have long been a craft beer drinker, supporter of “local” and supporter of “good folks”, so my fiancée and I made a point of visiting T&N recently, and WOW!! We enjoyed the pub fare – gourmet “dogs” – she had the New York Dog I had the Chicago Dog – and we shared the bratwurst plate – two thumbs up from both of us on the food!! For the beer – we shared “Lucidity” (Summer Pale Ale); Rabble Rouser (IPA); and Supernova (Lager)… absolutely great beers. If I had to choose a fave, it would be the Lucidity – perfect hoppiness, a very gentle citrus hit, smooth and soft – DAM!!, a lovely beer. As good as the food and beer were, we must say the staff that we interacted with were all fun, polite, helpful and so knowledgeable and confident on the food/beer offerings, we were impressed to say the least. So, if you love a good afternoon/evening out, great beer (they also have some Ontario wines available….) and you want to support local and good folks, look no further – put this on your list for sure!!

This is a great spot to take a date or go with a few friends. The outdoor set up is really nice. Beer selection was decent. Staff was friendly. The indoor section is supposedly nice as well which works out if it's really hot out and the patio is full. Definitely recommend this place.

Beer : yummy; Ambiance : cosy; Staff & service : friendly; Prices : TOO DAMN HIGH. $8 pint on the menu, $9 at the cash, $10 with tip... o_O $15 for 4 x 355ml cans at akeout !!?!? next time I'll remember to keep walking an extra 500m to BTP where I can 4 x 473ml of equally great brew for the same price.

One of my first outings in a long time. I am not a fan of online ordering QR code menus when in or on site of an establishment. When staff are right at hand. I have no data on my limited phone and no credit card info in said phone. I did ask server for menu and was immediately directed to QR. Buddy ordered for us and I did not fuss when he did not get my instructions correct.

Knowledgeable staff, good service. Beer was enjoyed, as was a cherry cola. Food was really good, especially the roast beef sandwich.

There really isn't a whole lot for food- especially if you're vegan/vegetarian. They redid the inside and it's really nice. They always have fantastic beer and good service. We bought some beer and I only realized once we got home that the guy who packed it up for us gave us the wrong beer. The receipt itself was correct but instead of getting 2 tabula rasas and 1 lucidity, we got 3 lucidity (there were 10 beers in our order and the other 7 were correct). Guess we don't get to try the tabula rasa! There isn't a huge difference in the price. We over paid by like 60 cents at most, it happens. I'd just recommend double checking your cans before you leave!
