Great place to have a picnic and dip in some water on a hot summer day! The place is usually not too busy but can get pretty packed when it is. You can bring your own canoe or kayak, and also, they have pre installed bbq on site. A nice place to bring the kids too

What a delightfully beautiful surprise. My daughter brought me out to the fireworks today. Every year in August is the Fireworks competition and they were loud and beautiful. Definitely going back again. Thank you Lac Leamy Casino for such a fun experience

I really like this spot in Gatineau, you can see different animals like deer🦌, turkey 🦃, beaver 🦫 in the middle of city😊

Always a pleasure to visit and 🏊‍♂️ (esp for open water swimmers!). Now that the NCC strictly enforces the no motorized boats/jet skis in the lake, it is so much safer and nicer to swim.

Very nice walkabout around this space..if you have a Gatineau Library card, you can access their outdoor centre (Centre Plein Air resources) Summer kayaking, swimming (small beach) Winter cross country skying and snowshoeing.. Accessible by bus as well...pack a lunch and water go!! No food places on site, washrooms ate at the center. 39 Freeman or Plateau STO bus bring you right there!

We always love I’m going to this place and relaxing either on the paddleboard or just around the lake walking around. The people around here are extremely friendly. We will most definitely keep coming back here every summer and enjoying the weather. I’ll obviously recommend this place to anyone willing to have a good time.

Lac Leamy is always a great place to visit. Not far from Ottawa, I can bring my paddleboard here almost all year round to watch the sunrise. At Lac Leamy there is a beach, picnic tables, a park, walking/biking trails, and restaurants, it's also incredibly family-friendly with fun to be found for all ages. Tons of parking available for free, so you won't go wrong if you choose to spend some time here! :)

This location is a great place to dance and hang out with your friends and family. Enjoy the lake and the many barbecue stations. Surrounded by bike and walking pathways this spot is a real gem. When on the Québécois side you do not want to miss wonderful site. Come for the day and relax.

Very nice urban beach and activity area in Gatineau; a short drive or in our case a nice bike ride from downtown Ottawa. In addition to the nice sandy beach there are areas to enjoy the lake on a path all around it. You can relax, picnic, kayak, paddleboard, or walk or bike on several trails that will take you in multiple directions: near the casino, further into Gatineau, around the Ottawa river, and back towards the Chaudière Falls and across the Portage bridge into the Parliament Hill section of downtown Ottawa.

Clearer water than swimming spots in Ottawa. Not much crowded. Clean and lush.

Love the place, the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the sand of the beach. There is not a lot of sand and the grains are big and rough.

An ideal spot for families, but not quite the best choice for friends. 😊 The payment procedure for the parking system was incredibly exasperating, leading to a considerable time loss when attempting to leave. ⏳😩

The park was perfect until they started charging for parking. Very disappointed for a public park. I would rather take the family to other free parks in the area.

Such a disappointment. The beach smells terrible, so much duck/geese poop everywhere. Very ghetto. Paid 10$ for parking…not worth it.
