It’s a perfect place to meet a friend over coffee or drinks. I ordered the crowd favourite cafe crema and the home-made amaretti cookies. Just the perfect combo to enjoy day or night.

The coffee was really good and so was the guy who made it. However, the girl who was taking payment was not the best. First, we stood there for a while she served someone else who came after us completely ignoring us, then walked away. I did not mind as they appeared busy. Then one of the guys, took our order, he was nice and we paid for the coffees. As I was walking to go join my friend with the drinks on the booth across, the girl came back to the counter and literally yelled at me to come back to the counter, drawing everyone’s attention towards us and said in snarky tone that “I need to pay first”. When I informed her that I paid already, instead of realizing her mistake she asked if “I was sure I paid” again in an accusatory tone. I assured her that we did pay. It was not a good experience.

A truly Italian inspired Ristorante/Trattoria/Bar with a modern twist and summer terrace, where, Ottawa style, a swat of generations converge to share a friendly interaction, be it a beer, Prosecco, Chianti, coffee or a cocktail in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. You can cross paths with students doing homework, a group of friends sharing lunch, businesspeople working on deals or the old generation gathering for a pleasant game of cards. Have been there a couple of times, both in business and had a cold cuts Panini with salami, capiccolo, arugula and mozzarella di buffala that was fresh and crispy, their macchiato is aromatic, silky and smooth. I loved this space! The servers we so, so friendly and kind. The café crema was so good. I ordered 2. I love that there are lots of plugs for computers. I will definitely come back here.

Visiting and stumbled upon this true Italian spot. Outstanding sandwiches. Waiter helped us decide and customize our sandwiches. Cannoli was a perfect finish with the almond cookies and their version of the iced cappuccino. Amazing service. Will definitely come back the next time we visit Ottawa!!!

Stopped in for a cappuccino, which turned out to be great. Also tasted their frozen coffee and home-made almond cookies and oh my God those were unbelievably delicious. Service was prompt and super friendly. Will be back for lunch and more of those cookies. Updated: had not one but two cafe cremas. Sooo good. Had a Caprese panino on focaccia and it too was delicious. Bought 6 of those ameretti cookies. Can't wait to dig in. And service was once again great.

I was very well received and treated there. Pleasantly surprised with the great capuccino and their delicious ameretti! A nice setting for a quick stop for a coffee on Preston.

WoW! What a difference in the atmosphere, food, service, and clientele since the make-over. Well done! I'd give this a 12 out of 10 compared to what it was like pre-Covid closure+!

Came here and had their special iced coffee drink which is akin to a Tim Hortons ice cap. It seemed like a very family/friend oriented place, lots of people who seemed to know each other.., they have a small patio, cute spot to grab a coffee.

Someone served their Amaretti cookies at a meeting and I just had to go and get some after the meeting..

Became a big fan of "cafe crema". Additionally, a new wooden deck has been created, which enhances the atmosphere of the location during the summer.

Great coffee (had a latte), really. Enjoyed the last bit of sunlight on the terrace. Very enjoyable.

Visited with no reservation with a group of 3, we were met with super friendly staff, and an amazing menu! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the Nutella Latte, Cafe Crema, and Cannolis, highly recommend all of these. The patio is beautifully decorated, and a nice spot to hang out!

Great place to come socialize! Great food, espresso and service. Nice patio and in the heart of Little Italy in Ottawa. Definitely add to your list to try if you haven’t been already!

What a fantastic find. Randomly stopped in, and I'm glad I did. The Cafe Crema is to die for. The Cannoli is fantastic (tastes even better than it looks). The owner is very courteous and polite and eager to please clients. A well deserved 5*

I just visited today with my partner and absolutely loved it! We ordered a café crema and americano. Both were very good, but the café crema was out of this world-- one of the best things we've ever had! The service was wonderful, and they gave us two cookies to try. Will be back for sure!

I suggest to stop by. Good location, the bar is well renovated, friendly and nice stuff, coffee cream and espresso were delicious. The homemade amaretti were spectacular, Italian bar vibe, felt like back home.grazie

Whoever the bartender was on May 25th, possibly the owner, was great. I had ducked into Cosenza to call an uber after a guy began harassing me at the bus stop. The bartender asked if he could get me something to drink, I explained the situation, and he was completely understanding. He even went outside to see if the guy was still there. I was pretty shaken up, anxious and upset, but Cosenza had a great atmosphere going on. Told all of my friends how kind the person working was and we plan on coming back under more pleasant circumstances once it's patio season.

Love this place. Always a good time whether looking to chill in the day or have a few drinks at night. Awesome owners and staff. They go above and beyond. The espresso martini and cafe crema are a must experience.

We hosted my husband’s milestone birthday at Cosenza! It was the perfect place for an intimate gathering! We also go for lunches. They have delicious Italian sandwiches and cappuccinos. Thank you guys for being such great hosts!

The service was incredible. Sat at the bar and ordered a cappuccino to start and it was so yummy. Then the bartender Valentin mentioned he made the best espresso martinis so I ordered one and it really was one of the best I’ve had! Andrea, the other bartender was also a blast, she was very helpful and always followed up to make sure I was well taken care of. Valentin and Andrea were so funny, they work well together and I would definitely come back to see them! It was my first visit. Won’t be my last.
