Been in today to get an aquarium filter. Looking through all the stock I could have got my aquarium and accessories so much cheaper here than buying online. Staff really friendly. Will be returning!

Went today with my son to buy a basic goldfish with a bowl and food, been a rookie I of course had a few questions. The guy working was so polite and helpful. He helped me with everything I needed and showed me exactly what to do! Would reccomend highly. Thank you 😊

Excellent pet shop wide range of stock always willing to help and give advice

Personally would never set foot in this shop again, there are plenty of other pet stores across Hull that treat their animals better. The place is always disgustingly messy, the keep their poor animals in the wrong conditions, even after mentioning things to them numerous times they ignore it cos all they care about is money 👎🏻 Not sure about the fish area but they know nothing about reptiles and I’ve overheard them selling more expensive and completely unnecessary items to customers and always give the wrong advice, it’s really sad to see. Every other reptile shop I’ve been to in Hull looks down on this store heavily and rightly so. Please go somewhere for your animals that know what they are doing and sell animals at the appropriate age (they sell bearded dragons at 2 weeks which is NOT okay!!!) there are other stores in the area that know how to look after their animals and will give you the best advice, not just go after you for money. I feel for those who have spent hundreds here to end up with the wrong equipment or extremely unhealthy animals. I would give it 0 stars if I could!! The below photo is how they keep their animals. I hope this is enough to deter you from this horrible business!!

The conditions that the animals are kept in at this store is unacceptable and cruel. When I entered the store today, there were a large portion of animals that were not homed in a safe and nurturing environment. In the back of the shop, where small animals are kept, the conditions were appalling. The hamster cages in particular were disgusting. They were extremely small and very dirty, the hamsters bedding was completely soiled and there was minimal room for them to even move around and the enrichment items in the cages were very poorly kept. In a particular cage, there was a wheel completely coated in hamster faeces that smelt and was extremely unhygienic. There were also rabbits in the back of the shop, three of them were stored in an extremely small cage compared to the size they require. The hamsters, birds and rabbits were all kept in the back room, which again was very small in size and unhygienic. A pet store should not be allowed to remain open if the owners of these animals cannot deliver basic care and hygiene for them. I was appalled by this pet shop and would not recommend to anybody to purchase anything from here.

Always has what I need for my reptiles. Great little business.
