First timer and I was surprised by the food quality. The fried chicken and chicken Katsu with egg taste amazing, made you wanting to add more rice. By the way the rice and salad is free refill. Well-balanced meal with salad, tofu & miso soup. Definitely coming back again.

I love the food here. Everything is served hot, fresh and taste delicious. The price is just sushi k*ng level but it is so much better. Rice and salad is free flow if you order them.

Thr food is just nice, I can rate 7/10. The price is quite affordablelah. 3 people less than rm100. You can refill the salad and rice, that's a bonus point.

Misleading poster which mentions NO SERVICE CHARGE but at the end still charge me service charge. I showed them their poster and requested waive my service charge. They say it is old poster and don’t feel got problem. After that, they discount 10% to me but I don’t get their apologies and their attitude look like it is not an issue or feel sorry for this misleading. I feedback to them this service attitude issue then the manager only apologize to me about this mistake. Food on menu is attractive and not very attractive when food serve to me. Got difference with menu photo and price not cheap. Got a lots of improve space.

This restaurant has surprised me with their food quality. Their salmon Don is so nice, the salmon is too fresh.

Always get the chicken katsu here as it has the right portion - chicken is fresh and crispyyy. Staff are friendly and efficient - you won’t see sour faces unlike the new outlet in Pavilion. Come here if you prefer a much quieter scene.

I enjoyed the food more than I expected. It was as crowded as other shops. I tried chicken katsu don and its chicken pot rice. Both were really satisfying! The chicken for both dishes were nicely done. I felt so damn full. That's me without utilising the fact we can have refillable rice and salad. The tamago was a let go. It doesn't taste Japanese :( Another thing to note is that I expected their service to be better. They are alright but not the most attentive.

One of the best restaurants in Kuala Lumpur , we had dinner there twice during our visit , professional and quick service , the food was everytime great , ( a bit difficult to find since it’s located inside the shopping center , which wasn’t easy for us on the first time )

Good for a quick Japanese set meal when you're at Lot 10 mall here. Reasonably priced. Staff service are excellent. Free refill for vegetable salad and rice for certain set menu. Overall, value for money.

I’m quite impressed! The iPad shows your ordered food in phases (cooking, done, fulfilled, cancelled) and the food is pretty good! I was surprised because I didn’t expect them to taste as good as they are. Place is clean, staffs are nice and attentive.

Food was pretty decent though the service could have been better as a whole team. Thankful there were some whom were more attentive than others. The order system was done through a touch screen tool which was stucked to the wall which was a tad inconvenient to use cause of the angle it was placed . Maybe it was just the seating I was in .Not to sure if the touch screen unit was detachable or not at the seat I was .

❤️❤️❤️❤️Love their Teishoku set and sushi roll. You could have a refill of rice and salad which is amazing because there salad is fresh and crunchy and there rice is well cooked and not soggy. Will be back to try there other meals

This will always be my favourite dining option when I am in Bukit Bintang. This time I've ordered the Nasu and Grilled beef set which was superb. There is also unlimited refills for Rice and Salad. Prefer this outlet over the one in Pavilion. Service and quality is much better in Lot 10.

Restaurant is on 4th floor of Lot 10 building. We had a best dinner since we come to Malaysia. Service is quite quick, we chose 4 set and they were all delicious. The atmosphere is quiet. And the kitchen is close at 9pm

The food never disappoints. It's always tasty every time we go. The seasoning is perfect and the karaage is delicious. The portions are generous too. We liked the fact that you can order directly on a tablet and see the status of your order. It's faster and enhances the experience.

Food quality was great. All the Teishoku sets comes with free refillable salad and rice. Totally worth for big eaters. Would recommend the Chicken Nanban, which is topped with potato salad. The wedges were crunchy, beef is nicely cooked and seasoned. The yuzu ice cream was small but I like the strong yuzu taste so it’s worth it.

Feels like something a food truck would give out. The food isn't bad per say, but for rm30 per bowl it was just disappointing. The miniscule beef given is dry and the refillable salad is just sad. Rice is nothing to write home about. The staff aren't rude but definitely aren't friendly either like the other restaurants here. At least the service was quick. Would have not minded if this costed rm18 instead.

The place a nice selection of different foods but some felt slightly overpriced like the gyoza. The food tasted pretty good. It was also easy to order since they used an ipad.

I have previously dined-in this exact branch and I enjoyed my meal. However, the most recent incident made me not want to go back ever. I ordered their Curry Katsu Chicken. The cutleries came, the fork was dirty, as if they have forgotten to wash it. No issues on that. I requested for a change. Halfway through my meal, I noticed there's eyebrow hair in between the rice. Sure, it could have very well been my eyebrows but:- 1) I was scooping my rice and it was then that I realised ew there's a hair there, in between the rice; 2) Had it been my eyebrow hair, it would have been at a visible spot, not when I needed to separate my rice to eat. I was very disgusted at that point of time and I immediately notified the staff. When we were exiting to pay the bill, there was no acknowledgement by the employee that I had a very unpleasant meal. We were required to pay the full bill. I then requested to speak to the manager. The attitude of the manager 🤢🤮. Instead of asking if there's anything that they could improve on, immediately he went 'You ate almost all'. Well hello yes, but that doesn't negate the fact that I just had a meal with eyebrow hair as an ingredient? There were still three slices of chicken left and in total I ate about 4 slices so I guess I 'ate almost all' according to the manager's words.🤷🏻‍♀️ He walked away when I raised my concern hahahahahahahah such good customer service over there heheheh We paid in full. To summarize: 1) None of the employees were wearing cap or whatsoever to cover their hair; 2) Their cleanliness was purportedly ranked 'A' WOW'; 3) Manager has extremely low emotional intelligence and unable to maneuver around customer's needs.

Food was decent, tasty, fresh ingredients, adequate portions. Being one of the restaurants on the top floor of lot10, this place was well lit, clean, comfortable and had a nice soothing ambience. Service unfortunately was terrible. Staff were immature and jeering around. On the website and when i asked one of the staff they confirmed they close at 10pm, however by 9.09 pm the staff chucked the bill on the table and asked us to pay first. I think that was very rude considering that we were only two and about two thirds through the meal. I get it if we were dining past or very close to closing time and they did this but with more than 45 minutes to go, and at a restaurant like this, presenting the bil and asking for payment l while customers are still eating and making customers feel pressured to quickly eat and leave is really quite a turn off. I hope yayoi management looks into improving their service quality because other than service, everything else was great.

The staffs are friendly and very well approaching. The food quality is what you are paying for, and so this worth a try. This may not be the best one you can find it in town, but should be above average.

my second time coming here and i was SHOCKED to find a cockroach in my ramen 🤢😭 the staff apologized and cancelled my order but i didn’t really feel like eating anymore, so i asked to pay just for my drink. as an apology, the staff told me that i don’t need to pay. i hope YAYOI keep the restaurant clean and hygienic, so this won’t happen again. traumatized by this, so prob won’t come here again 😰

Love the salted mackerel that is so juicy, thick fillet and crispy skin! Gyozo is quite good too, I like it with some seasoning on the table. Overall good restaurant to have a slow meal sitting down in the ‘cubicles’ which afford some privacy. Menu is extensive with moderate price.

Good environment, taking the order through their tablet with various dishes from their menu . 1. Grilled saba rice set - The fish was fresh and juicy inside, still have sweetness from the meat. 2. Salmon roll - It was so tasty. Just put it in your mouth then takes time to chew it, so satisfied.

🇯🇵 This 4th floor is filled with Japanese cuisine choices and u had a hard time picking one but end up goes with YAYOI. Ordered beef tanindon (beef and egg rice) set with add on of salmon slices x3 (RM10.90) as well as hitsumabushi beef set. 🥙The hitsumabushi beef is rather oishi desu I would say if you looking for an experience to eat your rice. The soul is the poured soup that you add in. However, I would say the salmon slices looked sad as the salmon is not as bright looking with the price tag given. The beef gyodon taste is not bad too. But if to compare to Yoshinoya then Yoshinoya is way better. Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Food 8/10 Ambience 5/10 The food is pretty good and if you want a tingling taste bud wasabi is upon request. Waiting for food is a bit long also. If you order set meal then rice and lettuce is free refill. Had CHICKEN KATSU TOJI TEISHOKU And BEEF GYU TOII DON Con - No Aircon

Comfortable, clean and cozy restaurant. Place order and also close table (end dining) with tablet which attached on each table, after that go to pay at cashier. I order Unagi Hitsumabushi, it's delicious and it's comfort food for me, but the unagi portion is quite less as this set meal cost rm50. This meal has 3 different way to eat which is interesting... and I like the Agedashi tofu too. Broth is nice but I prefer take it as soup rather mix with rice. Would revisit again for others meals.

Ordered the set dishes, beef sukiyaki and unagi, both taste good. However the lighting that we are seating keep flashing. Pricing average RM50 pp. Huge portion and you’ll be certainly full.

Ordered the Yayoi Gozen, that consisted of Chicken Namban, Simmered Beef, Grilled Saba, Salmon Salad, with a side of cucumber and miso soup. The rice is refillable, and the refillable salad is iceberg lettuce with bellpeppers dressed in seseme dressing. Recommand this place for a balanced meal.

Food was average ,nothing to shout about. We had the Aburi salmon roll very bland , I will never repeat order. Beef udon was ok . Both ebifry roll and shrimp tempura are decent . wasabi here was tasteless and no kick too. Staffs are helpful , not overly crowded over the weekend , you can walk in without waiting.

Absolutely love this place. I simply googled and trusted the online reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Very affordable price, very tasty too. We ordered one Namban chicken set, one teriyaki chicken set and takoyaki. Very satisfied, will visit again :)

I ordered the Una Don (RM 41.23) and it's pricey yes but it tastes really good. Unagi is one of my favorite seafood. Though I haven't been in Japan for years so I can't confirm if it's close to authentic or not. The meal includes miso soup and salad. Both are also tasty. The only thing I wish to improve is the quantity of the unagi. For its price, the serving is small.

Very busy dinner experience but the service was pretty good nonetheless. The sets are definitely worth it as it's quite filling.
