I am OBSESSED with this place! The view is incredible, the staff is super friendly, and breakfast was always super delicious! I will add that the decor isn't very modern but I love that they've kept it that way, it almost feels like a sleep over at grandmas! It's super homey. Most definitely recommend if its in your budget!!!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Turtle Rocks B&B. It is located on one of the most beautiful spot in Trinidad overlooking a breathtaking view of the ocean. The place has large rooms, clean, have beautiful romantic vintage setups and decorations, all opened up to beautiful landscape of green grass and bright colorful from varieties of flowers and of course , the mesmerizing view of the ocean and its offshore rocks formation, the famous Turtle rocks included. The accommodations were very nice but the best part of our visit was enjoying the tasty homemade breakfast every morning while admiring the beautiful view of the landscape and ocean. The breakfast was prepared by Roger, the owner, was very delicious. Roger and his wife are wonderful hosts. Roger was super nice and friendly, very knowledgeable, provided us the information about the surrounding area (including a hard copy of a 3 day itinerary plan). I should mentioned that Roger even went out of his way cooked for us the eggs of our liking which we very much appreciated. Roger’s wife made great pastry (we love the banana cake). We would highly recommend this unique place and we would definitely like to visit them again. Roger, if you read this, I would like to say a big Thank You to you, again for the “lucadendrun” flower.

Our stay was clean, comfortable and a great room with a great view. Hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. Breakfast was fresh and well prepared with great entertainment from the wildlife outside the dining area. We would stay again if our travels take us to the area.

Room Three: The Infinity View Suite We drove up to Eureka for the day on a whim and ended up finding this inn via a Google search of local stays with ocean views. With luck they had vacancy and to our surprise this beautiful room available! Roger was very nice, informative and made some great local recommendations! The views 10/10, we sat outside on the deck and enjoyed the sunset then moved inside to the couch when it go too chilly. The bed was comfy, we did get a little chilly in the middle of the night. You could see and hear the sea lions from the room, they were very vocal all night long, which we didn't mind. The shower drain must be clogged a bit which did cause some water to back up in the tub but the shower pressure was nice. We will certainly be back in the future. I do recommend driving from the north down as the road just south of the inn seems to be "falling apart". (Suggested to book a reservation at The Larrupin' Cafe in advance as they had no availability for the night, but the Lighthouse Grill was delicious!)

This was my first experience with a B'B. Beautiful room. A sitting room, powder room, nice size tub to soak in which is located in the nice size privy. Last but not least, The beautiful view which you can enjoy relaxing on the bed or sitting room. Whale migration would be nice. Oh one more, breakfast was outstanding. Oh gosh I keep thinking of more..😄 check it out!

Room was HUGE and opened up to a gorgeous view of the ocean! The bed was super comfy, breakfast and snacks were always provided and delicious. Staff was friendly and we took full advantage of the itinerary Robert offered us. We got to do almost everything on there and it didn't disappoint! 10 out of 10 would come back and stay again!

This is where you want to stay. We had a travel issue with a room in another town and called Turtle Rocks hoping they could help us with a 3 night stay. Francine was so accommodating and kind. She gave us detailed directions to their place and made us feel so safe and comfortable even before meeting her. Upon arrival, we met Roger and he was so helpful. From showing us all around the inn to having detailed day to day itinerary ideas available, he made us feel so welcome. He offered great restaurant ideas and basically never steered us wrong. The proximity to Redwoods state/national parks is so convenient. Francine makes breakfast daily and homemade treats for the afternoon. All are worthy. The room was huge and there was a balcony with a sliding screen door that we just left open at night to hear the sea lions barking and the roar of the ocean. I have never slept better. Life stress floated away and I feel like a different human leaving than the one that arrived. The rooms are still the original 1990’s decor, but let that encourage you. Embrace it. There is such a warmth here. I will be back as often as possible. Illinois won’t keep me too long from the Turtle Rocks Inn.

Omg. My husband and I loved this place. Ocean front rooms. A good location. About 30 min or so from eureka and about 45 min from trees of mystery. A few miles from Trinidad. Breakfast was very delicious. It's perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway or honeymoon. We will definitely be going back.

Whale lookout room was light filled, overlooking ocean from balcony and from comfortable indoor seating. Spacious enough for a long stay. Good breakfast. Off street parking. Pleasant, informative host. We would go again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Turtle Rocks Inn. The view is sublime. Roger is a great host, interesting to talk to and makes a hearty breakfast for you. The Inn is located on a beautiful part of the Northern California Coast near some parks and the Redwoods.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here and couldn’t have had a better time. The location is great for hiking the Redwood parks , Sue- Meg and Trinidad. The inn has gorgeous views, the inkeeper and staff are very friendly, the place is clean and the breakfast is fantastic. Highly Recommended!

What a beautiful experience! We truly loved the ocean views from our room and balcony. The spacious rooms and balcony allowed plenty of room to relax. The friendly and helpful inn keepers offered great advice on what to see in the area and offered good recommendations for local restaurants. We enjoyed the yummy breakfasts and appreciated the availability of snacks and drinks throughout the day. We stayed 4 nights and hope to return in the future.

😠 I agree with another reviewer who used the word "catfished" to describe their experience at this hotel. I'm sure the bar and restaurant are lovely, but I was really disappointed with our experience at the hotel. We had been looking forward to this stop because of the beautiful rooms and the location...
