Just went here for the second time and tried the tawa chicken, and it tasted amazing. The chicken was very juicy and tasty and the rice paired with the chicken and the vegetables complimented the whole dish very well. 5/5 definitely coming back again!!!

I was here 4 years ago and wow, same ethnic taste and quality. The owner works the restaurant and is very passionate about his food. If you’re looking for an authentic East meets the West experience then you have to check this place out. Everything in the menus looks great and tastes great. I was very happy with chicken I ordered. Great value, good food for an excellent price. The service and the staff were amazing and made a really great impression on me.

Visited this eatery on September 3,2023 for the first time. We have heard good things about this restaurant before coming and wanted to try their Tawa Chicken (chicken cooked on griddle ) Tawa Qeema (Minced beef cooked on griddle) and chicken kebabs. After we placed our order, Owner Kalam Ullah Khan came to our table and explained about the process ingredients and process of cooking our order. This was the first time I have experienced that owner would take time to come and explain the order. Very nice of him. All the items we ordered tasted very fresh as no frozen meat or ingredients were used in case cooking the meals. There was delicious sauces with the order and very flavourful rice. I highly recommend this restaurant to all those Who are looking for authentic and fresh cooked meals. Great find.

I recently tried Aalif after hearing about it for months from my best friend, and it didn’t disappoint. The uncle running the shop was very kind and welcoming, and when I told him I was new to Saskatoon he gave me extra fries and sauce- going above and beyond. I tried their beef burger and fusion burger along with the chicken poutine and it was absolutely delicious, literally 10/10 flavour. Also really liked how the cheese curds in the poutine were properly melted!!!! Would come back again!

Came in with my cousins this afternoon and tell you what it was one of the greatest experience I have ever received. The food tasted great. We were driving through Saskatoon on our way to Calgary and really wanted good, halal beef burgers. We saw this place show up in the suggestions and decided to come here. Once here, we got swayed by their tawa chicken and ended up getting 4 tawa chickens, 1 double beef burger, and 1 spicy chicken burger. Honestly blown away by how good the service and the food was. The tawa chicken was so so good and spicy, and 1 box is enough for 2 people. The beef burger was from homemade hand-slaughtered ground beef and was juicy and tasty. The chicken burger was crispy with a nice thick fillet. Everything was incredible but the tawa chicken overshadowed it all. We had to wait about 45 mins for the tawa chicken as its made from scratch but this is fully disclosed before you place the order and on their menu and website. The chicken and rice is literally made fresh, at that moment. Would highly recommend this place

The food was really delicious. Middle eastern foods have an authentic taste. They make the food fresh. So you should have some patience to have authentic and fresh food. One of the best halal food restaurants in the town. The owner and staff is very humble and helpful. The place is neat and clean.

The food at Aalif is one of the best halal food you will find in SK. I come here often with my wife and we always order the tavva chicken, chicken burger and double beef patty burger. I brought my family from Toronto here when they came to visit & everyone was impressed with the quality of the food!

Service? Phenomenal. Food? Better. People in there are happy to see you come in and will make sure you leave full and happy. The food is the best I’ve had. I had the beef shawarma platter and the ingredients were fresh. Meat was hot, rice was seasoned perfectly, and the vegetables were fresh, cold and crisp. The sauce and fries were better than any other restaurant I’ve had too. Could not say one bad thing about my experience and will be telling everyone I know to come here!

This was my first time in Aalif and I should say THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!😋 everything was really delicious and my friends loved the food as well! We ordered two lamb shawarma platters, one chicken shawarma platter and one chicken kebab. You can select the level of spicyness of your food from low to high, as well as whether to serve salad or fries with it. Can't wait to go back there to try other dishes. Aalif has been our go to restaurant for a long time now! They always surprise us with the quality and taste of food they have! Recently tried their family platter with their famous Tawa Chicken, khoya kebab and tikka. Everything was full of its own taste! Highly recommended if you’re looking for great taste in Saskatoon!

I ordered tawa chicken from here as I had heard great things about it and I’m happy to report that it didn’t disappoint at all. The chicken was delicious and thoroughly cooked without being too dry and the spices were spot on. I would only suggest that they include some sort of chutney with the meal to make it complete. Other than that, it was perfect! What makes this restaurant even more attractive is their amazing customer service. I had called in pretty late to place my order (I think it was 5 mins before close) but the kind gentleman who took my order (Kaleem bhai?) didn’t hesitate at all and went ahead and placed the order for me anyway. No other restaurant had done this for me before so I was very impressed. Best of luck for the future, I’ll definitely visit again whenever I’m back in town next time!

The food is fantastic, and I highly recommend checking this place out if you haven't. Just be aware that the food takes a while to cook/prepare depending on the meal, so if you don't wanna wait around you can call and make your order in advanced.

Stopped in on a whim half an hour before they closed. The staff were super helpful, the shawarma platter was amazing, and the price was very reasonable for the amount of food we got. We will be going there again.

Not only is Aalif food tasty, delicious and good amount for the price, the service is excellent! My partner is a vegeterian and the person collecting the order was truly honest about how he prepared everything in the kitchen to make sure my partner does not have any contamination with meat due to his religion. I ordered the Lamb shawarma platter, lamb was cooked perfectly, rice was flavourful the only not so good part is that the food can be a bit too greasy. Nevertheless, i will definitely come back here again!

I’m visiting from California and I decided to try this restaurant out - since I’ve heard amazing things from family. The food literally made my entire trip! It does not disappoint. Every bite is delicious and the service is incredible.

Most underrated restaurant in town. This is one of the best desi restaurants around in Sask, if not the best (in terms of taste). The only downside is the cramped up seating space/ambiance. The food here is expectional! Their Tawa chicken, Tawa qeema, fried chicken, beef burger and almost every other dish that they have on the menu is amazing!
