This was not my first time visiting this branch. Today, we got yelled at and mistreated because we asked for a table that does not have cracks or defects. And apparently i am not the only one experiencing this. I have come across many other reviews here where people talked about similar issues with the tables. And the two blonde shift leaders /managers were extra rude and mean (someone mentioned in a previous review that the blonde lady at the Kasse is rude) . If this is how guys treat your non German customers, then shame on you. She even said get out or i will call the police and when i called the police she lied to them saying 'all our tables are like this' 😂 Are you serious!?

First of all, I discovered this place by chance on google maps. I was looking for a nice place to go bowling near Essen and ended up on Joe's super bowling Essen website/site. When me and my friend were walking in Essen, we decided at that time to go and play a game of bowling. Once inside, we asked at the counter if it was possible to bowl, only a game because we just needed some entertainment. The man at the reception was kind enough to help us with the choice of shoes and the track, the 2 stars, this only referred to him. You could also notice that the track has had its best time, first of all you had to ask to reset the track because the cones were not there. Had to go back to the counter 2nd time because the bowling balls didn't come back.. So this was another downer. The man at the desk then called one of his other employees to ask if he could go and look at alley 26. Finally went back to the bowling alley, but after about 10 minutes we noticed that the balls still did not come back. So had to ask a 3rd time if someone had already looked, but NO, the other employee was just playing mini football with his other colleagues instead of doing something about it, customer friendliness? Just outrageous. We then finished our first game and eventually left, didn't feel like being there or coming back to this business. Service and customer friendliness are really a downside here. The quality of the track itself and material could also be better. For us, once was enough.

Good place to bowl and nice atmosphere.. Went of a weekday evening and not all lanes were full.. But in our lane the automatic mechanism to get bowling pins in place kept getting stuck and we had to stop every third bowl..

We booked 2 bhan and after sometime we changed it because of some issues. The second time the display was not working and again same issue started with one bhan. We were interrupted many times. And one guy who was helping was very rude(as if he is serving for free). He dint had patience to listen to us. I will never visit this place again. Worst place to play bowling. On top of all this issue we got 10 mins free. But that guys rudeness is unforgettable.

It's a great bowling alley. Everything worked and it generally has a good atmosphere. However, after nine in the evening, there are no snacks like nachos or chips or even crisps available. Only covered nuts and sweets from the retro machine. The restaurant only was able to offer drinks. There's a lot of drinks to choose from. Soft and alcoholic, wine, spirits and cocktails. It was a fun night.

Its ok, too loud, customer service was not really good

Great place! spacious and classy. Affordable rates. Perfect ambience. Though I hate the disco lights in bowling alley sometimes in the late evening. But people seem to enjoy it. I would recommend booking bowling alleys in advance on weekends because it can be otherwise full

We went there to play pool but it was horrible: - the tables are in bad condition, - the cue sticks are short and totally worn, - the tables are so close to each other that you have to wait all the time for the players of the other tables to make their move before you can continue with your own game - the music is way too loud (sorry, this is no club!) We left after the first game and won't come back.

Very bad customer service. The blonde woman who worked at the reception, on 08.02.2022 is very rude and aggressive towards the customers. She doesn't listen to you and shamelessly exploits the ignorance of prices. She insists on being right and is not afraid to show customers how little they are taken seriously. Generally very annoyed staff.

Very old machinery so we had to wait for a really long time for the pins to get set up, and waisted lots of time. The shoes are also really worn out so the floor is very slippery.
