Hier steckt so unglaublich viel Geschichte drinnen!

Nice Castle and a great walk in nature. We will return! A nice view from the very top of the tower.

Great for a walk. A lot of possibilities to buy a ticket for one or many attractions, if you want to see everything, I suggest going there in the morning

Nice place. For a €5 (€2,50 for students) entrance fee, you will get to see not only the beautiful castle and its grounds but also the interior and fully furnished villa. Well worth the trip for sure.

A quick “trip” to past in a fantastic way! Such a surprise indeed, as I didn’t expect for a small “town” like this to be so rich in museum items, various places (Museum building, Castle, Landlord House , and houses inside Town walls… amazing). It was like a walk trough a past!

Nice historical museum. There are a lot of old history things and a lot of city models .Also with a ticket of 7 euro I visited the tower the palace and the Textile museum which are very close .Ask for informations to any one you go first. There were not a lot of people on Tuesday and maybe this was the season that the cafe was closed. If you go to this area you have to see all because its the only reason to be there. The road around is old style.

Be sure to take the time and take a look at this place.I am very impressed and surprised. I got a lot of impressions from visiting this complex, which It includes a four-storey museum, where there are rich expositions of early Celtic history, the Roman era, ancient Germanic history, the era of the Napoleonic invasion and expositions of the bourgeois industrial Revolution. In addition, a well-preserved castle of the 12th century with many exhibits. And a hunting lodge, which makes it possible to visually see the situation, utensils, household items of various years. And even in the yard there is an antique sleigh and a fire pump. I want to visit this place again. I want to thank those people who have invested so much work and care to preserve and bring this to us, who continue to take care of this place. It is really a very rich museum, although it is located in Krefeld, but we came there by bike from Dusseldorf. A full inspection cost us 7 euros per adult.

Linn Castle is a moated castle in the Linn district of Krefeld , North Rhine-Westphalia . It is located around five kilometers east of the city center.I really enjoyed visiting this place… so calm area and one thing I must say that the people who are working here so friendly and nice and I would recommend this place to those who visit Krefeld!!!Considering that I am an Indian I love European castles 🏰

Was there with my kid, nice place. Kids can visit free of cost. Also, as a student I paid 3 euros for combi ticket which was valid for everything. The collection in the museum is good. Unfortunately, at that day textile museum was closed.

Awesome place to visit while you're in the neighborhood. There is a small fee for entry (students and children get a discount) but once inside you get to experience this old castle in all its glory. The outside is an impressive view and you can climb the tower for a great overlook of the town. Inside the castle you'll find all sorts of local antiques and there are guides who can tell you more about the rich history of this building and the surrounding areas.

A castle surrounded by green fields and moats. The museum is closed for visitors who do not have covid negative certificate.

Nice place, but only very few "Museum" exhibits. The staff is very "German", meaning efficient and rule focused. Friendliness comes a bit short. Kid friendly exhibits are missing.
