The Christmas Market here is one of the best I’ve been to so far. Their were so many stalls that I’ve never seen before in other Christmas markets around Europe. There is ample amount of space, seats, and etc to accommodate everyone. The best part was there were little fire pits scattered around the Christmas Market to warm everyone up. Honestly this place was great and I would love to bring more family and friends to the market. There wasn’t enormous lines to queue for the food stalls either. I’ve been traveling to numerous Christmas markets around Europe the past month and that was my number one complaint was their over-crowdedness and the enormous lines. None of that over here.

Best Christmas market we have been to!

We visited the Merode Castle for the Christmas Market and it was absolutely amazing. It was laid out very well and it didn’t feel too crowded. The food stalls were spread out nicely so you could keep walking and find another bite to eat as you go. Overall the market had a beautiful ambiance with live music, twinkling lights and fires to keep warm. Highly recommend coming!

Visited here for the Christmas market. They did not serve Gluhwein but got chocolate. Very quaint and unique market and grounds. Parking was free. Admission was about 7 euro. Great reconstruction work since a very bad fire where most of the schloss was destroyed and damaged by water from the firefighters trying to save the structure.

Gorgeous! We were at the Christmas fair and it felt magical... it WAS magical. Everybody has to be here at least once 😍

Great Xmas Market

The Christmas market is a one-time must visit. So many shops selling different artifects & foods.

We visited the Christmas markets and the castle was all lit up. Great food and drink stalls and pretty handmade crafts.
