I'm a little sorry that the reviews here are so bad. At least this does not correspond to my experience. I arrived on time and of course had time with me. The EEG was carried out very promptly. The reason for the long waiting time for me was simply the very detailed patient discussions. Here at least time is taken for the patient's concerns and questions. In my case, the Prof. finally explained my diagnosis to me clearly and clearly - in contrast to the initial general clinic. In any case, I drove home with a very good feeling. You cannot, on the one hand, complain that the doctor has no time for the patient and, on the other hand, criticize longer waiting times - both are simply not possible!

At the first appointment I was met by a really emphatic, in my eyes, competent doctor named Dr. Prukopski, received. Great conversation and confirm based on the documents and my complaints and events that I had an epileptic seizure. All the symptoms spoke for it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see him again at my follow-up appointment because he was away elsewhere in the clinic. The second appointment was coming up. People are used to the long waiting times in the Bonn University Hospital, as well as in other areas. BUT, if I have to wait 4 hours and then call Dr. B... who first told me that there was no file from me and that I should tell him what happened. First of all, I showed him the blood values and the MRI from the hospital in Euskirchen (Dr. Prukopski asked me to request the two things in Euskirchen and bring them with me to the next appointment). Dr. B… said (after 4 hours of waiting) why I hadn't handed the CD over to reception, now he couldn't have it read. He also told me that Euskirchen Neurology had made a wrong diagnosis and that the medication I had been prescribed only happened to help. Why his colleague would have adjusted the medication would also be a mystery to him. (I felt significantly better after the adjustment, FUNNY) The description of my symptoms the day before I had my epileptic seizure would ALL be atypical and would cast even more doubt on Euskirchen's diagnosis. An EEG can no longer be done because it is so late. The colleagues are now off work. The result was that I should have a neuropsychological test because I didn't have epilepsy. As I said, he had no file and the MRI and blood values were not even looked at. I leave the meeting room completely perplexed. The next day, I reported it to the epileptology office and complained about how I was treated. The lady advised me to speak to the doctor treating me again. However, I gave up on that. It's amazing what experts can do to you with a visit and conversation like this. How can you have so little empathy? My whole life was turned upside down. You are really limited by the diagnosis. In my case it is like that and then within a few minutes, on a whim, you are completely questioned. Do you actually know what that triggers in you? I had to vent my frustration again, even after months of my visit. It is still incomprehensible to me to this day.

(Translated by Google) I have been treated there by Mr. Rademacher for about six months because of my epilepsy. Nothing better could have happened to me. I constantly had seizures on a bad scale, including tongue biting, falls, etc.! I have been "treated" by various neurologists before. However, nobody could research the origin/cause. However, I would not only like to highlight Mr. Rademacher on a professional/competent level. Also huge in human terms! Never experienced such a doctor who inquires about the well-being, can be reached by email or by phone and you have the feeling that he wants to solve the problem together with me! I would like to thank you for that! (Original) Ich werde seit ca. einem halben Jahr aufgrund meiner Epilepsie dort von Herrn Rademacher behandelt. Was besseres hätte mir nicht passieren können. Ich hatte ständig Krampfanfälle in einem schlimmen Ausmaß , dazu zählen u.a. Zungenbiss, Stürze etc. !

Vielen Dank

Listened to it for the first time with my son's symptoms. Dr Rademacher has now initiated an inpatient examination. Thank you very much for that. Finally someone who listens after 4 years. Everyone friendly!!

Unfortunately I only give 3 stars. The reason... first the positive... the professor in charge is worth more than 5 stars. The patient I accompany is well adjusted and the professor is full of empathy...great up to this point. Now to the negative.....unfortunately, unfortunately... the whole issue of scheduling appointments is a complete disaster. I can hardly ever reach anyone by phone, which puts a huge strain on my working hours. The stay continues. When it comes to appointments, it has often happened that we wait from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This really doesn't happen with any doctor and it's just the fact that we have to travel a long way that makes us not leave again, but rather wait patiently. In addition, the colleagues in the outpatient clinic are extremely unfriendly and waiting is a test of patience. It just doesn't work that way and I had to get it out of the way here. Just another hour on the phone looking for an appointment and no one answered...

I was completely satisfied with this clinic. Definitely 5 stars, both in the outpatient clinic and on the Förster ward. This is all so bad against Pr. Dr. I can't understand Bauer talking in the ambulance. For me he is a competent doctor and friendly. The staff in the outpatient clinic are also very friendly. I was very satisfied at the Förster ward, just the care provided by the nurses, even though they were sometimes understaffed, they were very friendly and helpful. Also worth mentioning are the MFAs, like Nils and Alex. I was also very satisfied with the doctors, a special thank you goes to Dr. Over. As far as the waiting time is concerned, it's normal for me that you sometimes have to wait longer, especially if there are emergencies.

Unfortunately, I have forgotten the transfer twice over the last few years, making the staff's work unnecessarily complicated. I was never sent home! If that actually happened, something else must have happened. Small question for those affected: Did you continue to be friendly despite the employee's advice or did you perhaps make it clear with very clear behavior that the card would have to suffice and that you were not prepared to take care of this small necessity (the transfer) afterwards? You can send them by post. Many people also think it starts as soon as they enter the house. This is not possible in a specialist clinic because cases of varying severity are treated there and can drag on. You have to bring time. The clinic is there for everyone affected.

In my opinion, the certain Professor Bauer has no idea what epilepsy and psychogenic seizures are. You can't have a conversation with this wannabe doctor, he's constantly chattering at you. I'm not a doctor myself, but I clearly know the difference between an epileptic and a psychogenic seizure. The doctors from two other clinics and the emergency doctors explained this to me. Would Mr. Bauer also want to say that this is wrong? All other doctors from other clinics and hospitals are said to have carried out all the examinations incorrectly or don't know what epileptic and psychogenic seizures are, but the would-be professor is the expert, that's what Doctor Professor Bauer thinks. There is no other way to explain it. I'll just say one thing: Doctor Professor Bauer has no idea about epilepsy and psychogenic problems. In my opinion he should pack up and be fired. A doctor like that can't be a doctor. If an epileptic supposedly does not have epilepsy, but only has dissociative disorders, but is prescribed medication that is intended for epilepsy and also takes it... something must be wrong. In doing so, Professor Bauer is endangering the health of the patients, because tablets that are intended to combat epileptic seizures are not to be taken for fun, as these could be life-threatening, not for everything, but for some it could have harmful consequences. If I have an appointment soon, it won't be with this Mr. Bauer. The Lord has gone mad.

(Translated by Google) We came to the epileptology department with difficult basic conditions. Ultimately, thanks to the efforts of all those involved, a good treatment success was achieved. Thank you again for your patience and willingness to handle difficult situations.

(Translated by Google) I was on 10/13. for the first time in the outpatient clinic and then came to the Foerster ward. I've never experienced anything like that. I was treated so lovingly and finally taken seriously. For that I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. dr Pukropski from the ambulance was so nice and empathetic and so were the doctors from the Foerster ward (Dr. Baumgartner & Dr. Badr). Everything was explained in detail, examined in detail and all questions answered. I should have taken the trip to Bonn sooner. All the employees at the Foerster station were also super nice. The food was delicious. Thank you all for doing such a great job.

I made an appointment here based on a recommendation from my neurologist. Even if the employees at reception and e.g. B. Ms. Reinhardt is particularly polite and helpful, unfortunately I cannot recommend this epileptology. The reason for this is Dr. Farmer who doesn't work in a goal-oriented manner and has prejudiced, racist or simply completely inappropriate conversations. I forgave him at the first appointment, but it stayed that way later. It's clear that he's not interested in you at all, but just wants you gone quickly, despite the long journey. I think it's a disgrace that he still gets paid for such conversations. I am very disappointed in Mr. Bauer and expected much more from epileptology at ukb Bonn. So I wasted valuable time of my life and I still don't know more about my epilepsy. As unfortunate as it is, I have no recommendation for epileptology, at least not with Mr. Bauer as the treating doctor 👎

Super committed team in the outpatient clinic! A doctor (Dr. med. Susanna Moscow-Hartmann) has never taken so much time. She dealt with me and my symptoms in detail, even explained the MRI images. And the staff at admission, EEG and blood sampling were also super friendly!
