👍👍 We paid tribute to those who died during the Second World War. There were a lot of people.

Soviet soldiers who died between 1941 and 1945 in what was then the prisoner of war camp on Bergische Landstrasse rest here. Very well maintained complex that is easy to reach. You can park easily above the complex. There is also a bench to rest on. Beautiful in nature right next to the forest.

I became aware of it by chance. Didn't know this part of Düsseldorf's history before. Makes you think. Especially with the current development.🧐

1,500 Soviet prisoners of war who died between 1941 and 1945 were buried in this small cemetery, mostly in mass graves.

A beautiful place, but unfortunately it would be very dirty, as many people think it is a “chill place”, but it is a memorial

Very well-kept place located on the edge of the forest. Little parking available. When it rains, the footpath to the cemetery of honor can become very muddy and slippery.

A quiet, dignified place to commemorate 1,500 deceased Soviet prisoners of war.

Stinks and takes up space for Yassin's toilet. Not lit.

Located right next to the forest. Well maintained. Visibly separated from the rest of the forest with smaller walls. At the beginning of the short path to the monument there is also a plaque with a brief explanation of the historical events of this place.

Seems lonely and rarely visited. Marxists, Leninists, etc. sometimes place wreaths and flowers there. Beautiful surroundings, suitable for walks.
