Experience
Child
II:
In
July
2023
I
gave
birth
to
my
second
miracle
at
the
Albertinen
Hospital.
Once
again
I
can
only
report
positive
things
about
the
delivery
room.
I
had
a
very
loving,
very
young
and
empathetic
midwife
at
my
side.
She
mostly
looked
after
the
birth
alone
and
was
always
sure
how
she
could
best
accompany
and
support
me.
This
birth
was
of
course
different
than
my
first,
but
also
short
and
spontaneous.
A
female
doctor
was
added
to
the
“finale”
and
she
was
also
really
great.
Thank
you
for
the
wonderful
support
and
for
the
second
positive
birth
experience
I
had
here.
Yes,
and
now
to
the
postpartum
ward:
Many
nurses,
predominantly
the
younger
generation,
are
much
more
relaxed,
friendly
and
empathetic
than
the
older
generation.
Luckily
this
time
the
word
"additional
feeding"
didn't
make
me
feel
insecure
when
it
was
suddenly
said
and
my
breastfeeding
relationship
with
my
baby
has
been
great
from
the
start
(already
established
in
the
delivery
room).
Personally,
I
think
this
is
inappropriate,
especially
for
mothers
who
have
had
a
baby
for
the
first
time,
and
it
can
really
ruin
the
breastfeeding
relationship.
So
dear
mommies
-
don't
let
yourself
be
unsettled
and
just
put
your
babies
on
regularly
:)))
My
conclusion
regarding
the
topic
of
"breastfeeding"
is
that
support
from
all
nurses
is
desirable,
otherwise
the
care
and
aftercare
on
the
ward
was
good.
The
doctors
are
still
competent
and
all
work
together
very
well.
I
once
again
felt
very
well
advised
and
looked
after.
We
no
longer
plan
to
have
another
child,
but
I
would
still
recommend
the
hospital
for
a
natural
birth.
Experience
child
I:
I
gave
birth
to
my
first
child
in
April
2020
and
that
was
in
the
middle
of
the
lockdown
during
the
COVID-19
pandemic.
In
the
delivery
room
I
had
a
really
great
midwife
and
two
really
great
doctors
who
accompanied
me.
My
husband
was
able
to
be
there
the
whole
time,
despite
the
Corona
situation.
Even
later
he
was
allowed
to
come
and
visit
me
every
day.
I
had
the
impression
that
the
focus
here
was
on
a
natural
birth,
which
was
very
important
to
me
personally
and
that
I
was
able
to
achieve
this
thanks
to
the
great
team
in
the
delivery
room.
Thank
you
for
the
amazing
support!
I
felt
very
well
supported
and
comfortable
right
from
the
start.
In
the
postpartum
ward
it
depends
on
the
nurses
and
midwives.
Some
really
took
a
lot
of
time
and
effort
to
help
with
breastfeeding
and
others
were
a
little
rougher
and
seemed
stressed.
Especially
as
a
new
mother,
breastfeeding
is
a
challenge
and
you
are
completely
emotionally
confused,
but
when
you
called
for
help,
you
were
shown
how
to
latch
on
again
and
again
and
you
were
motivated.
Furthermore,
the
doctors
are
very
competent
and
you
feel
very
well
advised.
I
will
choose
the
Albertinen
Hospital
again
for
child
number
2.
