DISAPPOINTED! Stopped here for a quick bite! The sign was off so thought it was closed at first but thought it's 6:45pm so how are they closed. Turns out the drive-thru open late sign was lit on the backside of the building. Got in the drive thru line (only one car in front of us) took them longer than it should have to order. Our turn to order and the system sounded bad at first. Couldn't understand what the window worker was saying. After letting her know, she came through clearer so it was probably user error. Notified the young lady at the window about the sign & someone turned it on. She was polite. We received our food, the fries were cold & needed some salt (there was none). My small burger was a joke! When I picked it up, I literally thought someone forgot to put the patty on my bun. Oh no, it was there but looked more like a piece of a patty (see pic)!😡 It was half the size of my palm. For two meals at $16 this should have been better. I ate it b/c it was literally the only meal I had after a busy day. Burger & hushpuppies were cold too. I mean there was only one car in line besides us! My husband's meal was the same. He ordered a double burger & the patty's were so little it looked like one (the way mine should have looked). Take the few extra minutes to drop some hot fries, cook a decent patty, and make sure things are right. I'd give 1-star but I'm just not a mean person. I should have gone to Wendy's. Must do better!

My boyfriend ordered a milkshake for me and brought it to me. I opened the lid and there was a long hair laying across the top of it. The milkshake was not even mixed. There were clumps of caramel syrup and no cheesecake. It was not even the right consistency. It was supposed to be a caramel cheesecake milkshake. I have never had a bad milkshake from cookout- but Huntersville… do better. This was not even edible.

So you order a side of onion rings and you get one regular sized one and three small ones. Like a family of 4 with a Dad, a Mom and two little kids. Manager John did horrible addressing this issue. Mr. John, if a customer has an issue, especially a rectifiable one, offer a solution, not a disgruntle look. Another side of onion rings would have sufficed.

Nothing special, nothing wrong either. Needed a quick easy bite. Honestly dollar for dollar one of the best places. Enjoyed the food and would go back.

Because of the gloriously beautiful and warm cashier; I'm giving this eat in cookout, three overall stars instead of two. The clamshell styrofoam got 1 whole and 2 melted areas due to the hot 🔥 food placed directly on the inner styrofoam surface. One clamshell was melted all the way through creating a half-inch hole, where I could see the red dinner-table color coming through. Not a clean scenario eating off a common table, that probably wasn't absolutely clean.

Sad when your in line for ten minutes to order a milkshake then another 10 min to finally get a milkshake but with a side of attitude from the drive thru girl who was arguing with her counterpart a older lady about who can make the best sweet tea. I just wanted a good milkshake and when i tried to pay with a $50 i got a look like she had never seen one before. When did we get away with paying in cash? I know it takes a lil more math to do but you did go to school so if you needed help i would have walked you thru the subtraction steps needed for my change. All in all garbage shake,garbage service and garbage wait time good luck if you go you have been warned!

No matter which Cookout I visit, the food and milk shakes are consistently good. My favorite fast food restaurant for sure! I particularly enjoy the grilled chicken sandwich with their good French fries and the best milk shakes anywhere!

If you want the true southern barbecue experience, come here. The service is fantastic, the food is incredible and THE SHAKES!! Shoutout to Jay for being so nice and welcoming. Five stars overall!

This location gives me such mixed feelings. Half the time, the service is good and the food is done right, the other half of the time the service is blah. The food has consistently tasted good, my only gripe is when getting milkshakes hardly any mix ins are added and it's 95% ice cream, even when I ask for "extra extra extra" of something, it's like a sprinkle.

We had an amazing experience at Cook Out! Their food is absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure my order was just right. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and I was impressed by the quality and taste of everything I tried. Cook Out is definitely my go-to place for tasty food and exceptional service especially when on the go!

I love Cook-Outs. I really do. They have great burgers and a TON of delicious flavored shakes. So I was really REALLY disappointed when I got back to the hotel room with this take out order. My wife's burger, a single, was thick and juicy. I ordered a double. My double was a thin single FOLDED IN HALF on the bun! My wife's single was three times as thick. Literally! I was so pissed that if the place wasn't so far from the hotel and I wasn't so starved I would have bolted back there and raised hell. The burger was also dry as were the fries. My wife ordered cheese fries with Cheese on the side and got no cheese. Paid extra for it. In fairness, my wife loved her burger and the shakes were both delicious. But to pull a move like that. Low class and it ripped me off because I paid for a double and got a dry tiny joke burger. BEWARE, check your order, but do try it, for the shakes if nothing else.

we were in the other line for 15 mins. meanwhile they were steady taking orders on the other mic 5 cars done got there food and we were there before all of them. they we’re definitely ignoring us. never will come back here. ppl need to know how todo there job right!
