Large park with lots of shade. Perfect for those hot days. Clean and well maintained.

A great park with a really fun playground for the kids. There are multiple structures for various age groups. Park is well shaded, making it nice, even on hot afternoons. My kids love it! Parking can be scarce but there's plenty of additional sources at the school across the road. Restrooms are clean.

Excellent park! There's (6) pickleball courts, (3) tennis courts, (6) swings on a tall swing set, a sitting gazebo, a medium sized playground for the kids to play and use their imagination, and a pavilion for picnicking or parties! I highly recommend giving this park if you have kids- it's good for young and old, with a bigger kids portion and a smaller kid portion. It's designed to look like a forest and it has many unique features, like a safari jeep that wobbles on springs, some musical instruments, and leaves on poles to climb on (advanced!) The tree cover lends shade over pretty much the whole playground area. My family and I will certainly be back here and I recommend you check it out as well! The bathrooms are a little gross, as park bathrooms often are.

This place has changed quite a bit since I was a kid. It used to be all wood there’s nothing of the original structure here any more. My kids love to climb the trees and the walking path down the hill is nice to explore. Tennis courts are typically clean and if there isn’t enough parking you can just park across the street at the school. The traffic is typically slow going through the area with its location right before a neighborhood and across from a school. You are in walking distance of the discovery place kids and slice house which is cool. I love this park because it has stayed so simple of the years. They changed the flooring from dirt and mulch to some kind of padded thing. The play set is usually covered by shade and the bees are not too bad just curious. It gets busy here with kids and it’s a wonderful place to make friends we love to take drinks and snacks and waters toys and bubbles to give to others when we are out here.

This is a really nice park to go walk, play, etc. Restrooms are easily accessible. Options available for younger and older kids. It’s located in a very walkable location which is also nice. We have been several times and will be back!

Very nice place to enjoy the outdoors! I was interested in renting the covered pavilion for a special event but opted to host it at an indoor space. I liked the fact that there was a grill right next to the pavilion. And they have restrooms close by. They also have a very nice playground, tennis courts and I think I saw basketball courts but not sure. The only downside is, not a lot of parking that I could see.

I really enjoy the walking trail here. The trees are tall and beautiful, which kind of makes up for the noise coming from the main road right next to the park. The swing benches are a nice touch, though not very relaxing since they are right by the road.

Fantastic Little Park tucked behind an elementary school. two separate playgrounds of different sizes for different pages with a variety of activities to do. Free little library, tennis courts, gazebo, walking trails through the woods. Immediate parking lot is relatively small but there is an overflow by picnic tables. Lots of big old trees for plenty of shade during hot days as well as a public bathroom and water fountain. we'll definitely come back when I'm in the neighborhood

This is a lovely little shaded park across the street from Huntersville Elementary School. People frequently play tennis here as well. This is our favorite picnic spot after playing at Discovery Place Kids. My only complaint is limited parking.

👍👍 You can definitely drive by the park without even noticing it’s here. There is so much more that you can’t see from the road. My husband took a walk through the trails one afternoon last week and brought me after having dinner in Birkdale. I’m so glad he did. It’s a lovely place. I noticed people pl...
