Love it here! Beautiful surroundings including rivers, lakes and wonderful walkways. The whole area is perfectly maintained & there are plenty of seats to just take time to appreciate the surroundings. There's a lovely café, toilets and areas to sit close to this (if you wish to eat outside, great if you've brought your dog!). There are fabulous play areas for children & outside gym equipment. There's also a safe, covered area to lock up bicycles. The car park is £2.00 for 6 hours (& there's a £1.00 ticket available for a shorter stay). All in all a brilliant experience and well worth a visit or two.

Beautiful hangout space. The woods are so amazing to have a walk. There is a river along the paths which is so soothing and relaxing. We can see swans and ducks in the river. Overall the walking trail just amazing.

Been walking round here for some years now, don't come very often but every time we do it's a lovely walk and there are more than trails. There are parks for children and cycle routes and a woodland walk where you see squirrel. We had a coffee and piece of cake from the shop and enjoyed them very much. Our daughter bought some gifts from the shop and they are hand made crafts and look really nice. In the wet seasons it can flood around the walks and is a bit muddy so something to be mindful about.

Lovely place. We met with our family from London, just two hours drive for us both. Lovely walks in the woods, a paddle in the lake and a great time in the children's play parks. Very reasonable parking £2 for 6 hours. There is a small café but we took a picnic. We will be meeting there again.

08/07/2022: Returned to the Park and walked the wood trails and round the Main Lake up to Nuns Bridge and along the Chestnut walk. A couple of new additions for kids, large duck climbing frame and an adventure playground. Beehives there too which I never noticed before. Great place for all the family. Huge open space and woodland perfect for all kinds of exercise and outdoor activities. We went with friends that were doing a Segway trail, excellent stuff. Some good walks around the park and lakes with a lovely remembrance garden for stillbirth, sad but very relaxing.

Lovely day at Hinchingbrooke Country Park , weather was beautiful and the boys loved biking round an their trikes. This place is a must for anyone who loves idyllic walks through woods or around lakes. There is a small snack bar for hot or cold food and drinks . A play park for the kids and also a group of keep fit machines for those who like to workout 💪

We visited this park today and were pleasantly surprised to see all the new play equipment which I think went in last year (2022). This now means there are a bunch of different play areas to explore off the main large green space though only the one by the cafe is fenced off for little ones. The duck play set is absolutely brilliant and entertained my 6 year old as much as the 10mo today. Some really good adventure climbing frames for older kids too. Park facilities are good with a small cafe (not much indoor seating on cold days like today though) that does very basic hot drinks and snacks (think: machine coffee, prepackaged snacks and hot pasties rather than anything more exciting - the cafe at Milton country park is much better for nutritious food and good coffee for example). There are little seating areas - covered and uncovered - throughout the main green as well as a few BBQs to use. Toilet block was clean enough if a bit brisk in the chill today. The country centre has warmer loos and changing table and was open today because of the indoor boot sale (last Sunday of every month, I think). I'm not sure if this building is usually open though. The park itself is great - lots of lovely woodland, den building areas and lakes that we've explored on warmer days plenty of times. Good tracks for family bikes or walking too. I've seen some reviewers from last summer mentioning the lack of benches and shade near equipment - that's been corrected now though the trees will take some time to get big enough for good shade! A really good spot for a family day outdoors whatever the weather.

Had a nice bank holiday Monday here. Haven’t been back for about 5/6 years. Great park, amazing paths and beautiful surroundings. Perfect for children and dogs. Nice coffee only £1.50 for a filter coffee very good. It’s a shame the cakes aren’t freshly made I was disappointed by that!

A lovely country park. Plenty of parking (payable). The cafe makes a great cup of tea 😊. There are toilets on site. Lots of routes to explore, including bird hides. There's a play park and an outdoor gym. Definitely worth a visit to blow the cobwebs away and burn of so excess energy xx

Massive improvement from last time we visited. Letting a food van and sweet van park up is a smart idea for extra business. Ended of with an ice cream from the usual cafe. New parks are very good. Only reason it doesn't get a 5 star, it was 25°c and there is no shade around the play parks. Could do with a large parasol for the kids/adults who are not on the park equipment. Nice day out for all the locals 😁

  • 4/5 Vanessa W. 3 years ago on Google
Loads of different elements to explore in, water, forest, fields, kids play area. Car park is small though.

I visited the country park today with family & grandchildren and we all had a lovely day. The grandchildren particularly enjoyed themselves, the play equipment for the children is great!

A lovely park! My friend and I found this place by accident, so glad we did! Very peaceful as well as being a great place for walks and for children, with various playgrounds.

  • 5/5 Sam M. 1 year ago on Google
A great place to take the children. It has lots of play areas and places for children to explore. A great place to take the dog for a walk. Parkrun is held here on Saturdays and is a fun route to run! The cafe is also great for grabbing a drink, snack or lunch.

Not to busy but extremely muddy

  • 5/5 Sally T. 3 years ago on Google
I walked through a very muddy park yesterday. You would want wellies or stout walking shoes and even then there were several areas that couldn't be reached due to the flooding. Bearing in mind it has lakes, parkland and wooded areas there is plenty for everyone to enjoy. However maybe on a another day!!!!

Lovely open space surrounded by a brook on one side, and woods on the other. You can take walks on paths through the woods or around the meadow, or wander across the grass. There are also stands for barbecues, a couple of shelters, and an excellent children’s playground. To top it all, there is a friendly little café (which due to Covid restrictions is take-away only, although you can sit in a sheltered area alongside - January 2021). There is also a countryside centre where events are held and nature information may be found. There’s a good pay car park with reasonable rates.

What can I say except how lucky we are to have such a beautiful place on our doorstep in these strange and difficult times. Unfortunately only able to visit outside normal hours or at quite times due to the large recent increase in visitor numbers. Wading through mud up-to my armpits due to current weather not the best, however the nature and vista all around pails this into insignificance to be able to be out and about when chaos is all around. Hopefully you will all remember this beautiful place when the normal times return.

Lovely park. We've been here so many times and love it every time. Perfect for parents with children or people walking their dogs. The woodland area is fantastic for little people to explore 🙂

  • 4/5 Valerie B. 3 years ago on Google
Lovely wall the other around the whole lake. Plenty of benches for my old folks to rest at. Could do with a few more picnic tables around but I understand them not wanting to encourage people to picnic as so many people and up spoiling it because they leave rubbish. However not much rubbish to be seen but did pick up a couple tins and bottle. Nice for a wander.

With the covid restrictions this has been my go to place for socially distanced meets with my work colleagues Great for a run, great for walks, great for taking the grand kids - Park and out door gym equipment are great. Beautiful scenery Just lovely

Despite being really cold wind always very pleasant to stroll round the park and lakes. Always keep very tidy and clean. Nice that given the present difficulties you can still get take away coffee and snacks.

Lovely parkland area with multiple lakes to walk around, nice little cafe and clean toilets too. Muddy in winter though, take some good boots. Nice play area for the kids.

Lovely little park, paths could be a little better maintained as it got a little muddy, but it was a lovely place with a nice little shop and we managed to get our pram round it with only a little bit of additional effort!

  • 5/5 Samantha R. 3 years ago on Google
Great place for a dog walk or just a visit with the family. The apiary is fascinating and the cafe sells decent food. They keep it as tidy as necessary while keeping it wild enough for the non-human residents. A great place to breathe and get back to nature.
