I am truly impressed by this place. So much so I had to write a review. Lauren is gifted with color and on top of that she has a great personality. We had the best chat while doing my hair. The salon is decorated so cute. It’s clean and the staff is friendly. They truly are a full service salon from cut, color, braiding, makeup, nail, accessories and more. And they even offer bottomless champagne and beer. You can’t beat the location. It’s right by the beach. What a much needed treat for myself. I wanted a subtle ombré balayage and that’s exactly what I got. I’m so happy. Thank you for beautifying my hair and treating me like a valued client. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She’s great which makes sense so is her place. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend The Blow Down to my friends and family.

Had an amazing experience! Sam shampooed, cut and styled my hair. She was knowledgeable about hair health and the life cycle of hair along with hormones. She knew her stuff. Loved my cut and the style she did. Loved that she was asking questions about my lifestyle, so that she knew what cut would work best with the chaotic life of being a mom. Another plus was the offering of champagne or beer to complete the pampering experience!

I was a first time client and I showed up early. Place wasn't busy and there were multiple hairstylist, which were not busy. I was told my gal was on break, no biggie to wait, so I did, they took two other clients before me and when it was my turn I had to wait longer so my gal can "try" to order a smoothie. ..now I had a wedding to get ready for and check into my hotel... no one check in with me or offer a drink, or asked if i was doing okay... I was looking forward to getting my hair done and shampoo. Who doesn't, but it wasnt relaxing or good. My hair still felt dirty afterwards. There was no consultation prior for my hair. I expected a great shampoo and to be able to not wash my hair for couple of days. No consultation prior for style, my hair felt dirty and style was okay. Other clients got beverage and seemed happy. I can't say that my experience was good or great. Place was clean tho.

I went in with the intention of getting a hair trim and my nails done, but my favorite aspect of the salon was the people <3 the ladies are SO kind and friendly, and also just very receptive to the experience I wanted to have. Raquel who did my nails did an EXCELLENT job of giving me mermaid nails, and just being thorough in giving me a proper manicure and pedicure. The leg massage was 100% everything. She's also just such a calming, loving presence which makes it relaxing to receive a mani-pedi. Lauren, who cut my hair took into account my curls with short hair and even taught me how to put my hair in a towel and perhaps, Samantha was my favorite- she gave me a fabulous blow out that lasted for days and worked with my layers and shoulder hair length. AND she shared how much she loved her salon family, which you could feel. Thank you to this family of bright, caring women that make the experience so worth it. I felt so taken care of and attended to! Rene, the owner, is a gem of a human being and is just as and even more attentive as her staff. The BEST Blow Dry Bar! My go to salon when visiting the area. Samantha is amazing! She truly cares and it shows. Three days later and my full beautiful blow out is still going strong. Thanks to her skills and her recommendation of a product I’d never heard of before. It works so well! Amika the shield - Do not leave the salon without it! Your blow out will thank you.

Love this place! The vibe and energy from the staff and owner is legit. I brought in a photo of how I wanted my hair braided and they were able to execute no problem at all. I admit I am super picky, so I am obviously impressed. So impressed, I have returned 3 times and sent friends. Each time I have gone I have had a blast! I absolutely loved my cut and style! I didn’t feel like I was rushed around and being squeezed between other clients like I do in other salons. The stylist knew exactly how to cut my hair (fine hair problems) and gave me fun beach waves to feel extra special for the day. The salon is so fun too. Great decor, great vibes.

I wanted my hair and makeup done for graduation pictures and Sam knocked it out of the park! The service was excellent and it was nice chatting with her while I got my hair and makeup done. I would definitely recommend!!
