The chicken katsu is something that I will always come back for. It's so crispy and the sweet katsu sauce is nice and tasty. The white rice can be good with the teriyaki sauce and a little katsu sauce and it's also served with a macaroni salad that has a mayonnaise like base. This time I also tried the short ribs which were sweet and tasty, and I tried the Hawaiian BBQ steak which was okay. On a menu I saw a picture of pork that looks to be wrapped in some sort of leaf and I am definitely going to try that next time, it looked very interesting, and I will also be getting some more chicken katsu. I didn't try the macaroons, but my daughter said they are delicious, and they looked delicious

I’m so happy I came across this place! I was craving the pork and macaroni salad so bad this place was excellent! The cashier was super sweet and patient and the cooks did a great job!

Best Hawaiian in Huntington Beach. Best prices, extensive menu for all tastes. Fries were changed to straight cut instead of crinkle cut and they’re 100x better. Portions are amazing and can be ate from 2-3 times. Please do yourself a favor and support this business they’re one of a kind and deserve all the love ❤️.

It was knarly staff was amazing and everyone was awesome I got a bbq trio I'm eating it beef and ribs I get to chicken and I ate several bites and I notice texture is weird turn on a light to inspect and the chicken is raw and bloody I hope I don't die there giving me a new plate but I ate sever bites of raw chicken I guess I should have inspected it but who would major mess up

I really wanted to like this place. So I showed up with a happy hour order. The lady at the front desk was a bit rude and it wasn’t until I’ve checked my order in the car that I realized three items were missing that I already paid for. There are other places to eat.

Man its delicious ,service not as good as when the other really nice lady was there she was friendly n made a better experience i drive from the 1 hour away Walnut restayrant isnt ad goid n thats why i prefer driving but the service sucks they're rude . I hope the food continues to good if nog Im done with this spot here !

This is my second favorite L&L location. Foods good, but I like Long beach better. I like this one better than Westminster however.

My first EVER review of anything... The buy 1, get 2nd bowl for 1/2 price AND a side macaroni salad for under $20 was great!!! 🤸🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️ Surprisingly, I was impressed 👏 by my 2-go orders packaging 📦. Not only was the plasticware high quality, but a piece of cardboard had been placed in the bags bottom so as to keep its 😋 contents from spilling. The counters' plexyglass barrier should be removed, though. It makes it awkward not only to pay for the order but also to hear the (always sweet) employee. Coupons are 👍 great!

Excellent!! Visiting from New Mexico and the amount of food we got for 20 bucks was amazing! Food for our road trip home. The lady at the counter was so nice and when we go back to California we'll be back just because she was so nice! 👌🎉

Located in the Newland Shopping Center on Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach. One of my favorite things to eat here in the different types of chicken and rice with a side of macaroni salad. Don't ask me why a Hawaiin BBQ place would make such delicious macaroni salad....but they do!

Website says open until 8:30 but when we got there at 8:15 they say that the “kitchen closes at 8:15”. Choose your hours and keep them. Update: drove to Da Hawaiian on Brookhurst and Adams, they have a great menu and actually served us.

This place is very good BUT i get off work and aLaways get there at 820 and the kitchen is always closed but their posted time is 830 they really NEED TO change their times because thatt is such an inconvenience for anyone who would like to get some food 15 mins before closing

As far as loco moco goes for the price of 13 bucks so far is my favorite. The gravy is tasty, 2 patties are thin but ok 2 scoops rice and a scoop Mac salad not to fancy but made like in the islands oh and kikkoman soy sauce is my favorite. Hit da spot!

Probably my fav Hawaiian place that makes me feel like I’m back home the costumer service is great and through the roof she really is personally with her guest and knows your order before you even come up

The service is a bit gruff. The girl could use some customer service skills. I even overheard her say to a customer... "wow, healthy meal, is that for you or who is it for?" The guy was a little hesitant to answer. Wow can we say NONYA? As for the food...it's just ok. Although I got a beef lumpia that was dripping of oil it was so greasy. Yuck! Not spectacular and definitely not the best around like they claim. The teriyaki sauce was watered down so much it hardly had taste. Not worth my $12 bucks for sure!! I would never go back...

If you're a white male howlie avoid this place. You'll feel like your in native Hawaii by the way they treat you like dirt. Went to Que Vida tacos next door Great service, friendly people

My husband Tommy and I came to L&L Hawaiian BBQ for the first time as we got coupons in the mail. They're value combos we're great! Very friendly staff. We had gotten the Mini Chicken combo ( 1 regular price and 2nd 50%off) and it was delicious! We will be back!

This is the second time I was there to get musubi which should be the easiest thing you make. The first time I thought was I was getting cheated and got less because it was Musubi Tuesday special. Well today is Wed and both times the rice ratio is non-existent (and that's the cheapest part) and the bbq chicken in it was a little tough and flavorless! Will not go here again. Don't even want to try their other food. I would rather go to Maui Hawaiian BBQ off Newland!

I'm sorry to do this to you L&L , you've been one of my favorites but today's visit changed that for me. My BBQ MIX plate was very plain, no flavor and DRY. I also wish I didn't look into the kitchen where I saw my chicken come out of hot water and not from the flat top grill . I think that's why everything lacked in flavor. I didn't finish my food. I only ate the Macsalad because that's always amazing, everything else went in the trash.

The food is great but the cashier has horrible attitude. She needs to get a training in customer service. We come to eat every Saturday here but today was my last I walked out didn’t even stay because of her nasty attitude. If she hates her job so much she shouldn’t be working there.if you want great food and great great customer service go to MAUI Hawaiian BBQ
