Love love love this place! I came across it searching for another restaurant online and I am so glad I did. It’s Sicilian cuisine which is rare in Huntington and Long Island for that matter. We Went for lunch today and everything was amazing. Allie was at the bar and our server, we sat by the bar as there was a private party in the main dining area. Allie was so nice, very friendly and great with suggestions she also continued to check on us. Joe the owner was there and we said hello and chatted a bit super friendly. His brother Ricardo is there running the line again great guys with respect. The Vibes in here are very welcoming, laid back, warm and cozy it was decorated for Christmas and there were lights all over so beautiful. I love the decor from movies to sports and pictures of Sicily. The Godfather picture was my favorite.. The spicy vodka rigatoni is a must try! Fresh tasting, The sauce is perfection..With the Buratta mozzarella on top, it’s heaven. Also as an app ask for The Panelle (fried chick pea fritters) it is a Sicilian staple and the only place I’ve managed to find them are in my old neighborhood in Brooklyn. They were crisp sprinkled with grated cheese and lemon to squeeze on top Mmmmmm along with some potato croquettes. My brother in law got the chicken parm and it was very tasty the chicken was tender as well. I cannot wait to go back and try some more dishes, the pizza looks serious. I highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner. 12/25/23 We catered a few dishes for Christmas and it was beyond expectations the shrimp oreganata and flounder were amazing along with the house salad. I don’t know what’s in the salad dressing but I was dipping my Italian bread in it. Delicious!!! Very fairly priced. Highly recommend. 12/31 We had New Year’s Eve dinner here and it was amazing! Baked clams were like butter so delicious and my scallops entree special were an amazing combination of flavors. The limcello lemonade is a great cocktail not too sweet refreshing and it hit the spot.

the BEST food and the BEST staff and owners, the Cefalus are incredible from the inside out! Everything is always so fresh and the quality is amazing. My go to spot for anything Italian

We are from Tennessee and my Husband wanted some Italian food for dinner. Needless to say we went to this restaurant and were very satisfied! The customer service was great, the staff was friendly, the music is very fitting for the atmosphere, and the staff was very informative about the selections on the menu. I highly recommend here.

Awesome food and the friendliest service! We got the calamari salad that was on special and then the Agnolotti Amatriciana for dinner. Both were absolutely delish, so happy we found a new neighborhood spot!

I happened to stumble up on this restaurant based off the name. My boyfriend is Sicilian and just happened to be in Cefalu. I decided lets take him to this restaurant. WOW so glad I did. we both loved our food. the dishes were very authentic and flavorful. We sampled alot. beet salad, spicy rigatoni, short rib cavatelli, riceballs, stinger pizza- ALL absolutely amazing. The service was excellent- I felt very valued as a customer here. the espresso martini was really good also! I loved the decor and feel to the place. We really had a great date night. I am still eating the leftovers! we have definitely found our new favorite spot.

Got a gift certificate and the food was excellent! We really loved it!! The ala vodka was perfect and the chic cutlet was probably the best I’m ever had! They even put a cute little biscotti on the coffee saucer! Everything was delicious!!

I brought the ladies in my family here because I had a taste for authentic Italian food. Coming here was arguably one of the best decisions I’ve made in 2023. You can literally taste the love, feel the passion, and see the hard work the owner and staff put into to making this a dining experience, rather than just “going out to eat”. If we could stay in New York an extra day, this place would be on repeat. Get here! Get Great food! Get treated like family!

My favorite restaurant. Slay was my first stop when I am home. The food is AMAZING. Literally everything on the menu. The zucchini rings, calamari, margarita pizza, spicy rigatoni, green goddess salad everything is so YUM.

I have lived in Huntington for years and I’ve been to many restaurants. This was my first time going to Cefalu. The service was better than any other, food was incredible, and drinks were flowing. Their happy hour is amazing. Can’t beat those deals!

Excellent food with even better service and hospitality. Added bonus, as a newly diagnosed Celiac they have plenty of gluten free options. I just moved to Huntington from Brooklyn and I’m happy to say I’ve found my new neighborhood Italian spot.

What a great restaurant! My friend and I tried it for the first time, and we will definitely be going back. Joe was our waiter, and he was friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent and the atmosphere lovely. Cefalu is a new favorite!

We started going here when it was Primo Piatto. Now as Cefalu it has transformed into an even better Sicilian style restaurant. This is our go to place in the neighborhood. Everything we’ve had here has been incredible. The staff is courteous, the owner is very nice and very accommodating. The personal pizzas are great as are their entrees, but to me the stand outs are the eggplant lasagna, baked meatballs and crispy brussel sprouts. This place really is a gem. It’s only a matter of time before word gets out that the food here is better than any of those trendy hyped up places that have been popping up in the village.

My wife and I use to dine here when this place was "Primo Piatto", but we never liked it and stopped coming. I am unsure if the same owners still own, or are under new ownership. I would assume new ownership from the experience we had! Cefalù is on a whole new level when it comes to dining out. Delicious food with a welcoming atmosphere. I made the mistake of not bringing my phone, so I don't have any pictures of the wonderful meal we ordered! We ordered- "SPICY RIGATONI ALLA VODKA", "STINGER PIZZA", "ROUGHY OREGANATA", and a bowl of Pasta e Fagioli Soup, and drinks. The pasta wasn't spicy, and I am not sure if it is a miss print on the menu or a mistake I made. The bill said "RIGATONI ALLA VODKA" not "spicy", but this had no impact on the delicious meal! One of the best Pasta e Fagioli soups! STINGER PIZZA- will be a staple! ROUGHY OREGANATA- a wonderful take on oreganata, with a melt-in-your-mouth Fish! The fish was cooked PERFECTLY! I am looking forward to my next visit.

We went here to celebrate my daughter’s PreK graduation. The food and service were phenomenal. I have never seen My children eat so much pizza! I am gluten free and had the GF pasta w vodka sauce and it was the BEST GF pasta I have ever tasted! They make it in house too! It was the perfect texture, not gritty or dry. We sat on the patio and it was cool with a nice breeze and entertaining. On top of the amazing food, our waitress was so attentive and kind. Even brought our little graduate a scoop of her fave ice cream for desert. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Will definitely return ❤️

Wonderful meal and experience! We went last night for my Mother's birthday. She had been there for dinner a few nights before for the first time and couldn't stop raving about the food (the Eggplant Lasagna has a bolognese sauce that is out of this world! Also Shrimp Scampi... perfecto!). Whether to grab pizza or a special night out — Cefalù will be a staple, go-to from here on out!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner tonight and we’re very impressed. We started with the calamari salad which was on the specials list. The flavor and texture of the calamari was fresh and the salad was well dressed. For entrees we had spaghetti and meatballs and the agnolotti amatriciana which were both excellent. Their meatballs are delicious and the spaghetti was perfectly cooked. The homemade agnolotti were delicious and the amatriciana sauce was the star of the meal - sweet, spicy, and loaded with flavor. We will be back and can’t wait to try more of the menu.

Sorry to say we were excited to try this place in the name of Cefalú, a city we have visited and love. The service was friendly but he was very young and inexperienced so it was sporadic and slow. No attention to refilling drinks. Surprisingly there was no bread on the table served with entrees either. To make things worse, the food was Italian “cafeteria style quality”. The spaghetti alla chitarra with meatballs wasn’t the fresh version or alla chitarra at all. It was a box generic version of spaghetti and the meatballs were grey and spongy. The sauce was a bad version of jarred. The shrimp parmigiana was no better than from a local diner. We would not recommend it. Lunch was expensive for that poor quality all around.
