The rose garden is preparing to come into bloom soon. So get your cameras ready & enjoy the beautiful roses on good or bad weather conditions.

Dudes & Ladies! If you want to see true natural beauty, I highly recommend the Rose Garden at Ritter Park when the flowers are in full bloom. It is not only beautiful but its relaxing, it smells great from the fresh air and the flowers everywhere. I had never been until 2 years ago. My husband took me there (I am a sucker for flowers, leaves, rocks, etc. You name it if it lives outside, and more than likely, I have a collection of it, lolz) I managed to take so many gorgeous pictures as well. If you are looking to get a photo shoot done, this is the place to do it... As long as it's on the flowers blooming time. But even when they do die for the winter, it stays pretty around there. Plus, the entire park as a whole is huge! You could spend hours hiking trails, swimming or playing in the creek, they have tennis courts, like 4 or 5 different jungle gyms, dog parks, a walking/jogging track that follows the perimeter of the entire park. As an extra bonus: Most of the time, the people you meet along the trails and such and generally nice people, and 9 out of 10 times they let you pet their dogs. That alone gives this place at least one extra rating star I think.

Love this place nomatter what season it is. We always walk up the trails opposite of the rose garden steps. And the playground was recently replaced. Great place to have a child's birthday party.

Great park with plenty of pavilions and green space for a picnic, and a big playground with unique features like carved climbing rocks and a kids zip line. Convenienly placed restrooms directly beside the playground.

It's always beautiful to get out at Ritter Park, either alone, with family or friends. The park is peaceful with lots of hiking trails, gorgeous scenery, furry & friendly squirrels roaming about. The play area is very nice and well kept. There's a butterfly bench, statues, biking, a flower garden and a flowing fountain ⛲️ to toss a penny in for a magical wish. I highly recommend spending time at this park.

Only reason for 2 star is? The big 57 gravel on the run walk path? Is horrible to run in! I heard several people complaining about slipping and rolling ankles! If your gonna gravel it? It should be crush and run like it always has been. I'm sure you'll hear from someone that rolls an ankle

This is a beautiful place to get out in the summer time and look at the beautiful roses. Plenty of walking room and also have bathrooms and water fountain to get a drink from. Love this place really beautiful and peaceful!

Beautiful place. Can't wait to have our wedding here in June very well priced venue for weddings and activities 250 for the hole ace all day and the room till midnight it includes use of a small kitchen tables and chairs for up to about 45 ppl. Book early because it fills up fast when roses are in full bloom at least for the weekends

Lovely, small, rose garden with facilities to host a small event. Horrible parking, almost got into an accident as the road is narrow & cannot easily see traffic. There may be better parking but I didn't see it.

Really nice but it was late in the season and a lot of the rose bushes had been removed

I go there to think about the sunny slopes of long ago. Before the love of my life and our child was taken from this world by a drunk who'd dropped his cigarette and drifted into oncoming traffic while looking for it. He walked away unscathed as I sat there listening to his mother sing her praises to the lord for not taking her son from her.

This is a beautiful part of Ritter Park which is located down in Huntington still it's right behind Ritter Park you can walk up a set of stairs to get there, or you may drive around and find a place to park on up the hill. It is so beautiful during the summer time it's amazing to see. But I feel like they could do something during the winter with it instead they have been leaving it dug up for the past couple of years and it's kind of sad.
