We didn't eat here, they had no help. The outside was littered it was really nasty. We still went inside to see if it got better. 20minute wait bc nobody to wait on customer. And you had to sit in bar area, I have never got to eat here and now I see why I just don't patron Chili's

These were horrible! The black is the burnt chip with the dehydrated black beans. Called for the manager. He got upset with me arguing with me that the black are black beans which is what they use. Really?? I only go to Chili's like several times a month....and I also know what burnt is. The taste doesn't lie either. Horrible, never go there again. Need new manager. Loved our server.

Ordered curbside to go on the way from work to get home the Texas fries received were burnt cold and hard as stone… when I called the store back manager said the I had to drive all the way back so she could tell the cook what they did wrong and that she wouldn’t except the photo proof while she had an attitude so I wouldn’t dare trust you to make it again with an attitude no telling what you’ll do to my food … I’ll take the lost … this is unacceptable.. I’ll post the photos here now accept that!

I love Chili’s. This one is just so so sad. There are 2 workers serving food doing double time!! Manager is not doing their job!! Sat waiting 45 minutes just for chips and salsa!! Had to ask HOSTESS to bring it! Poor waitress is so overrun it’s sad. Treat your workers better & hire more workers or else you will be shutting down for good & a new restaurant will come open up and take your money! Really really disappointed!! If you come here expect to wait a year for food! Will be eating elsewhere for a LONG TIME. Why wait 2 hours here when I can eat at Taco Mama across the street for a fraction of the time? You’re losing customers! Sadly I see this Chili’s shutting down in the near future. You have to go get napkins and silverware yourself! So short staffed it’s a joke! The run of this establishment is a reflection on the manager. Was told the reason why no employees? They all asked for the weekend off for homecoming football?! HELLO?! It’s a Chili’s where people will…. YES, WANT TO EAT AT AND WATCH A GAME??? Literal incompetent management. This place has been going down a long time. HIRE MORE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! TREAT YOUR PEOPLE BETTER OR YOU WILL END UP SHUTTING DOWN. Prices of food and drinks also getting higher each time!

The bartender seemed distant, distracted, unsocial, not friendly, aggravated and over worked. I'm sure due to no fault of her own but to the blame of the true culprit: Chili's! When are corporations going to learn to pay and treat their employees with decency and integrity? After I ate here I got sick as a dog for 3 days with severe stomach pains. Will never come back, EVER!

I am thrilled with the level of service at this location. My husband and I are on late shift schedules, so we walked in an hour to close, which I felt bad over. But Logan greeted us quickly and provided the most attentive service I have experienced. He provided complimentary chips for our wait, and was the most polite waiter we have EVER had. He answered questions about the menu with plenty of grace and knowledge. And I can also attest to the fact that the food was well prepared, even if I'm not typically a fan of Chili's. For the service alone I would come back.

When we got there I saw a note that said extremely short staffed and to please be patient. We were seated and bless the 2 waiters that was working the tables and Im sure the kitchen at times... They were on top of their game! Our waiter was the absolute best waiter/ waitress I've ever had and I'm 61 yrs old. Myself, daughter, and granddaughter was just in awe of watching and listening to him work the tables. He knew the menu very well and it was like each person in the diner eating was his goal to make happy and to make sure they had everything they needed. By the way the steak and ribs were off the chain guys. We were sure to let him know that he was awesome and hope he never changes. He shared he was 3rd generation waiter... And it shows. Try this place people. Amazing!

Worst decision for a Valentine’s dinner. Waited 45 minutes for a table in a dining room half full. Heard the Host tell others behind us 1 hour wait due to shortage in cooks…not a shortage in wait staff…plenty of them..just hardly ever came out of the back…I guess they were cooking too. Once we got seated and ordered our food it took almost 45 minutes again to get our food. By this time, starving, so would’ve eaten about anything. The Queso tasted scorched, my OldTimer’s bun was so dried out it crumbled to pieces when I bit in to it. The fries you could tell were cooked in old oil and sat under a heat lamp for a while. My Fiancé’s steak was burnt and her broccoli tips were burned and dried out…we heard a lady at the table next to us say the same about her order and sent it back…it took about 20 more minutes to replace her food. I usually love Chili’s but, this was not only the worst experience I’ve ever had at Chili’s but, one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. If you are the owner reading this…I would be embarrassed. I’ve owned a restaurant before…and I watched your host turn probably $500-$1000 worth of customers away in minutes…and while he took people’s names down and told them he would call them when a table opened…when they finally came back it was “OH, sorry, I thought you left so I scratched your name off the list…sorry, the wait will still be about an hour.” Running a restaurant like this….you won’t last much longer.

Me and my husband decided to take out 3 year old daughter out for her birthday for lunch. We got to this Chili's when only 1 other party was waiting. The hostess asked us how many and said 10 minutes without asking for name. It started get busy and the time was up to 45 min. There were now 2 hostesses. My husband went up to make sure she was aware we were here the longest as the one party that was there before was literally just sat. They both apologized and said we were at the top of the list now. Then proceeded to call another table literally as my husband is standing there. He turns back around and says we were here before them to which both hostesses and the party being sat stopped and looked at each other. The hostess then continues to seat that party. The other hostess said well be with you next which is when we decided we would not continue to wait. My husband started walking out with our toddler when I went back up to the hostess stand and expressed very calmly my frustration. I was met with explaining by them that they put us at the top now and they're sorry but it was the least empathetic apology I've ever heard. The manager was absolutely uncaring and tried to explain that both hostesses are in training and she'll speak to them to try and do better. No amount of training would fix that situation because it's honest common sense to not tell someone they're at the top of the list and still proceed to call back another table. The manager also lacked empathy which explains why the employees are trained that way. I fully recognize that Covid has hit the service industry hard and restaurants are short staffed but this is completely unrelated to that so I won't allow that to be an excuse in this case. We were incredibly patient and didn't say a word about the wait but for them to openly seat a table they now knew was there after us with our toddler is inexcusable.

The bartender was the greatest she was doing everything. They're were really short handed and she was taking care of all the tables. Everything came out time manner food was great. Awesome job get that girl from help.

Been to Chilis a few times. Not this location yet. I love Chilis for the simple fact of how it’s mentioned and shown in The Office many times. This time it was awkward. We sat at the bar and ordered two drinks. The Captains castaway, my husband got the Tito’s punch. They were both delicious. I got the Cajun shrimp pasta and my husband the brisket quesadilla. Also these huge cheese sticks for appetizers. They were so big and good! I could only eat one. But as we ordered, before our drinks came, a server came up to our bartender so upset he was shaking. Telling her ugly that she hadn’t made his drinks. She nicely said she has 5 minutes. I knew he was shaking then cause he held up his phone he said no! It’s been 7 minutes! He had her on a timer! I could see it! So she stopped everything she was doing, despite being embarrassed cause he did that in front of us so comfortably. But I’m happy how she didn’t really let that affect her and she did her job great even though I could tell it bothered her. It bothered me as the customer. That guy didn’t care how ugly he acted in front of us. Regardless she did great, our food was amazing, and we enjoyed our dinner. We spent about $70 and will definitely be back. Hopefully that other server who was rude to our bartender will be having a better day.

Was told by the host that it would be about maybe a 5-10 min wait and gave us a menu to look at and was told that there was only one server available who also was helping in the kitchen.never took down our name for the waiting list. Observed 4 workers sitting down watching the football games on the tv and relaxing. More people came in and they were told 20 mins wait time. There was plates on tables and dirty dishes almost on every table. No manager around today assist or even offer an apology.

The waitress was slow and very inattentive. There were only 3 tables to service and she would choose to sit in a booth with another worker instead of getting refills and checking on everyone. After ordering our drinks she went and sat down at the booth and it took 10 minutes before she got back up and brought us the drinks. The manager was walking around the entire time and never seemed to mind that people were having to get up and get their own to go boxes. When I received my meal I had 3 chicken portions on my plate and 2 of them was burnt. Food was sloppy looking. When I told the manager at the end of the meal he went to the kitchen and came back and said “you are right” they were not supposed to be burnt. REALLY? This was a bad Sunday afternoon experience today.

Severally understaffed, came in on a Friday evening and they only had a two servers. Food took a long time to arrive, water took a long time to arrive, didn’t get what we ordered, food tasted good though. Plenty of parking, didn’t take long to be seated, lots of small tvs playing various games.

It wasn't busy, the food left alot to be desired. The Chips were really oily, the white queso was one step away from Elmer's glue in texture and essentially flavorless ( save your 10 bux for something else). The drinks stayed full the entire time but the unsweetened tea tasted almost spoiled. And we started noticing what looked like pepper in the drinks only to realize it was flakes of black particles in the ice. Our order... one plate was delivered incorrect... wasn't even ours, one was delivered incomplete... was supposed to be asparagus with a steak covered with pesto/pico/ avocado, showed up just the steak and asparagus. I ordered the big mouth chicken sandwich... special sauce was basically creamy BBQ sauce, but the fries were delicious after adding salt. The chicken bacon ranch quesadilla was flavorless aside from bacon and really dry like it was already cooked and reheated. Over all we weren't impressed, aside from the fries we didn't care for any of it, it's been a few years since we've eaten here so we gave it a try and now it will at least a few before we go back. There are plenty of restaurants that a family of four can eat and enjoy rhe food for much less than 100 dollars.

Bit down in to my burger and there was what I believe to be burnt plastic of some sort. Very unacceptable. I'm so glad I didn't swallow whatever this is

Had a long wait time to get seated more than 30 minutes. They were short staffed but our server made up for it! Food was good too.

Waiter was awesome!! He did the best he could. We took 30 minutes to get seated on an empty restaurant. Over an hour to get our food, which sucked when we got it. Please was just a slow moving, bad tasting wrek..other than the waiter . He was good.

Went in on a Friday night at 7pm, there were maybe 8 tables with people and every other table was dirty. The hostess was cleaning tables as people came in. The bar had one couple sitting at it and had 4 different stacks of dirty dishes. There was a table in the bar area that was dirty when we came in and dirty when we left. My husband and I got the same salad and he was missing a couple of ingredients. Honestly a very disappointing meal. Chilis is usually a good go to meal and it was not at all good. The entire restaurant was a mess. No one working seemed to be concerned with what the place looked like. Management really needs to take over and fix this place up. This also seems to be a common occurrence if you read through the reviews. I really wish someone would care enough to actually fix the issue

Adding an in-depth review for an experience I had recently. The manager informed me that in order to get my curbside order I would need to come inside to wait for my order. When I informed him I was unable to stand the time it took to wait for the order he offered a refund — which I never received.

I'm not sure what transformation happened to this place, but the ONLY reason we went here was that we had gift cards since our last visit was so bad. However, this trip was great and the server was amazing. Like everywhere, it is understaffed, but the server did his best to keep all of his table's needs met. The food was a huge improvement over our last visit. I'm not sure if we got them on a good night or there has been some major change in the kitchen in the last year, but if our next visit was anything like this last one, we will continue to go back.

Only leaving a one star because I have to. Me and my boyfriend decided we would come eat here after I got out of the hospital, huge mistake. 2 parties of about 5-6 people ahead of us. No biggie, they were super slow. We sat down within 5 minutes of arriving, all is looking great. But wait, there’s more. 3-4 other tables sat after us, and they were all taken care of. We were ignored for THIRTY minutes before just getting up and walking out, leaving our menus on the table. Our host told the server he sat us over there, which apparently must have been a dead section, but we were in the servers line of sight the entire time. Chilis, do better. I’ve been in the hospital 3 days with pregnancy complications and was looking forward to a nice hot meal from your establishment. But I will 100% make sure to never come back. So whatever you do guys, don’t waste your time here.

Our latest visit was sub-par, but to the Manager's credit, he 'made it right'. Takeout order was almost completely incorrect. Should have checked before driving home but didn't. No receipt in the bag when delivered curbside. In hindsight, should have asked them to confirm order content (like some other restaurants do). Food was good.

We got there at 11am just as the doors were opening. Waitress was super nice and the food was served really fast. We had burgers, chicken, soup and one had a steak, all the food was really good, fresh. Plus the burger and fries was big enough we took half home and ate later. We will definitely eat there again. On a side note I noticed their food score was a 81, but from what I seen at our table they deserved much higher score.

Booth we were seated at had a 2 ft tear with the stuffing exposed. Totally unacceptable for a national chain restaurant. Table was sticky. Obviously had not been wiped down since??? As we were the second people seated. Waitress was stressed because she was covering the entire bar area. Food was good thank goodness.

I cannot say enough good things right now about the Huntsville Chili's in Jones Valley. I called in advance because I was trying to streamline dinner. My mother has Alzheimers, so I wanted to make it easy on her, and give my dad a bit of a break. We have dinner every Wednesday. The manager, Jeff was understanding, caring and accommodating to our situation. Our server, Freedom, was attentive, kind and just generally outstanding. The food was on point. Just an amazing experience! It truly was one of the best dinners I've had with my parents in a long time.Thank you so much to your amazing staff and management!

Our server was great. He was on top of things for the most part. The food was decent. Fresh but not overwhelmingly flavorful. I do think it's a great place to go with your family and have a cozy dinner.

Went on a Saturday and a small wait. No biggie to us just used that time to look at a menu. I could tell they were short staffed. Got our table waitress was awesome. Food & drinks were wonderful!

  • 1/5 Kendra S. 2 years ago on Google
We waited over thirty minutes for food. Our friends are and finished, and our food never came. We asked them to just take it off the bill, and that took an extra fifteen minutes. Server didn’t apologize or anything. Should have taken the drinks off the bill as well as the food, but they didn’t.

We tried to call in an order and whoever answered the phone told us to order when we got here because it would "only take 30 seconds to make". All we wanted was a dessert. We arrived and were sent to the Togo area, where we waited 10 minutes to be greeted. It took an additional 20 minutes for our order to be made, and had we not already bought our food we would have left. The staff who finally helped us was overwhelmed, and was scrambling as the two managers we saw were just standing and watching. We won't be returning.

Nor the host or to go person was attentive . I waited forever for answers on my to go food . Tge wings were stale and old and burnt all at the same time . The fries were stale and cold, worst location ever .

Arrived around 8pm or a little after and asked to be seated at a booth in the bar area. Service was a little slow at first (bartender taking care of multiple tables). Ordered the chicken nachos and was super surprised when they came - they were GREAT! I have been to a lot of Chili's and this was far and away the best rendition of their nachos I have had - kudos!!
