Overcharged for an extra night. Room upkeep and cleaning could use improvements. My stay with this property didn't have a good start. When I messaged (via app) to the front desk about if I could check in early, the level of professionalism in the response message was way below the level I would expect to see at a Marriott property (I got some single-word replies without any greetings). Definitely more training is required there. The room was okay, the window blind was broken and couldn't be rolled/pulled up. There is hair from the previous guest on the bathroom floor. The shower flange cover was pretty rusty and should be replaced. The breakfast variety was decent. The attendant was nearby to ensure the area is clean and food was replenished. My one-night stay was overcharged for a two-night stay. I took multiple contacts to Marriott corporate and to the property before it was fixed. And there was no communication back from the property. This was a very disappointing part of this property! So make sure to double-check your hotel bill!! It's not a bad property to stay at, but don't expect a 5* experience. If you have other choices, I would explore them first.

We enjoyed our stay! The staff was friendly and accommodating. They give a welcome bag that contains water and chips. The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. The toilet is separate from the shower area. There is plenty of parking. The location was perfect for us. We were in town to catch a comedy show at Stand Up Live and the hotel was only a 3 minute drive to the venue.

Great hotel for families in town for events and any other reason to visit Huntsville!! Great location close to downtown and a Publix just down the street!! Very spacious room! There is a safe in the rooms for your valuable items. The night crew let us soccer dad's hang in the lobby till 2 am! We were behaving and playing music just chilling so it was nice to have a place to do so. Breakfast was good, but there is no bacon so just an FYI. The housekeepers were nice and the rooms were clean.

So the staff was absolutely AMAZING. We arrived late for both of our reservations, and the accommodations were amazing. We had a slight problem with a room, and it was addressed immediately. I really enjoyed the 1st day of breakfast. It was the earliest to go, and the service was extremely personal. The attendant actually made my waffles and plate. She was truly a servant walking in her gift. It wasn't something she had to do, but she saw me overwhelmed by my family speaking and already having breakfast, and she was exceptionally nice. This service overshadowed everything that happened with our reservation and room dellema. Night Staff is absolutely amazing!!

I don’t think I have ever stayed at a Marriott property with such lackluster customer service and facilities. First off as far as the facilities go the laundry room is closed and no idea when it will (if ever) open again. The gym has a half set of dumbbells (many missing) and a couple of cardio machines. It is definitely one of the worst on property gyms I have been to in my years of staying with Marriott properties. The breakfast is literally the same thing every morning, which is peculiar because at other Marriott properties they at least try to change it up. My biggest gripes with this place is the lack of customer service. Need your room cleaned if you are staying the week? Good luck, not going to happen. Need towels? You’ll wait 12 hours only for them to tell you “housekeeping is swamped” and they can’t bring you towels. Need maintenance to come to your room to repair an easy 2 second fix? They’ll say “maintenance is swamped” and give you the run around. That was 8 hours and a phone call follow up ago. Need an underperforming AC that says 68 but maybe gets the room to 74? Spring Hill Suites Huntsville is your spot. With the exception of one other Marriott this has got to be the second worst property I have stayed at and the frustrating thing is this is all easily fixable if management wanted to. As for me, this will be my first and last time at this particular hotel and will definitely make me think twice before booking at a SpringHill Suites hotel again. That is how poor this hotel operates.

This is probably the 3rd time staying here, although the hotel is relatively new and esthetically nice there is no room service. The last time I stayed they said you have to stay 5 days before they will empty your trash or bring towels and sighted covid as the issue. I am here now and on checkin verified that my room would be cleaned daily, first day nothing, had to call to get new towels and was assured the next day it would. Saw the housekeepers in the hall the following day they told me no we are not scheduled to clean your room. Called the front desk to demand it cleaned, when I returned tonight towels left outside my door on the ground, dirty, new? I dont know. Bed not made 1 new towel in the room trash emptied at least. No concern from staff. This will be the last time I stay here.

This is the second time I stayed at the hotel and amazing how it can change in a short time. Arrived late (1am) for reservation and entered the room and noticed a bad smell. Thought it might be outside and AC blowing it in. Called front desk and told this was the only same class room available and to check in the morning. In the morning, I went to take a shower and found long black hairs on the walls and floor of the shower. Informed front desk , who informed housekeeping manager in front of me to clean the room. Returned at night time and room was not serviced. Asked to speak to manager and told that they would arrive at 8am. At 9am, was told they don't work on Sundays. Won't return to this hotel on next trip to Huntsville

After two straight weeks in the hotel, I feel like I know the place well. Easy check in, with an incidental hold of $20 / night, make sure your credit limit is not close. I think they should simply do a daily charge if needed, there's not even a mini bar in the rooms. That said, the pool was open but not heated (I fell for that....brrrr). They do have a bar with wonderful bar tenders Emily and Tonya...(didn't catch the weekend fellow's name but he seemed good also), the only negative is the bar is tucked in a corner so you feel like it's an afterthought. Good drinks, decent beer selection and lively conversation. The rooms are nice, typical suite with no real division. Service was good, and morning breakfast was also. All in all, the biggest drawback was no restaurant at the hotel. That's said, it was a 15 minute walk to very good dining and bars. I'll stay there again if I'm in town.

In town to visit my relatives with my wife. This is a fantastic hotel in a great location in downtown Huntsville. Everything was within a 10 mile radius so we could visit my family and we tried different restaurants every single night. Staff was very friendly. My wife had a ton of rewards points saved so we only spent about 28 dollars a day for 4 nights. We'll be staying here again for sure!

The place is clean. The front desk is always friendly. Breakfast is fully stocked and has several options. The hotel is in safe walking distance to the Von Braun Center. My only complaint is the bed is so hard! I slept on the couch after the first night.

Excellent customer service! I want to highlight the excellent customer service my wife and I experienced with our interactions with both Amber and Ashlee. We had a minor problem with our room and, no questions asked, they immediately brought us new keys for an adjacent room in addition to offering us a very nice gift. I thought I'd have to go back to the front desk, but nope - they delivered the keys to us. They were both extremely friendly and professional. I would stay there again just for the terrific customer service that Amber and Ashlee provide. Overall it was a very nice hotel with excellent service. The location is a bit remote for walking to downtown but really not bad at all (we walked no problem and there are sidewalks the whole way).

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the best in the area. I have been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be disappointed. I had a great stay here recently. The staff was always very nice. The rooms are spacious and it's always nice to have a free breakfast. The location is close to a lot of stuff, though not a lot of walkable options.

In town for a wedding and dinner. Dinner was held in their banquet room which was very nice with good tasting food. Room was clean, bed was comfortable - what more can you ask. Breakfast was nice and Ms. Linda was a breath of sunshine and fresh air. Would visit again just to be around her positive attitude. Location was convenient to highways, airport, and downtown. Would stay again if we came back to Huntsville.

Honestly the most friendly and helpful staff I've ever had the pleasure to meet! From front of house to cleaning staff everyone was amazing. Will 100% stay here if ever back in the area. Also rooms are clean and airy.

The Springhill Suites by Marriott was very nice in the way it looked and smelled. The lobby was very nice with alot of options. They had a snack store and a bar where you could order drinks. They also had breakfast buffet which we didn't try. The ladies at the front desk were super nice đź‘Ś đź‘ŤOur room was different than any hotel that I had ever been in. I liked the way it looked and the style. Everything I was very happy with until I tried to lay down and then the bed was so uncomfortable and the pillows stunk. The air made a noise which made it hard to sleep and also the air didn't work good in our room. I wish I would have took a fan.

Perfect spot to my event -- 12 minutes there and 10 back. I stayed at a Springhill Suites in Ringgold in April, and this one is exactly the same except for the split bathroom, which I didn't hate. One person can use the toilet and small sink while another is in the shower. It's actually genius! I felt very welcomed and enjoyed the goodie bag they give you on arrival. Great customer service and a great overall stay. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in town.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! We stayed here on September 14th and out of a group with 10 rooms 2 of them had bugs in the beds. I pulled back the covers to get in bed and 100 ants were crawling around. They switched us rooms but I had to sleep on a pullout bed. One of the other people in my party woke up all night scratching and found multiple large bed bugs in her bed. She had bites all over her face and body. I was repulsed that a hotel this nice had two separate rooms with bugs in the bed. Don’t stay here if you don’t like bugs in your bed. !!!!!

Very disappointing experience at this hotel. Watch out for room 201. 1. There was blood spatter all over the wall and light switch in the bathroom. We notified the front desk and asked them to please have it cleaned/sanitized, but it never happened. 2. The cartons of milk at breakfast were spoiled/curdled 3. We left about 20 minutes before breakfast started the day after the spoiled milk incident to catch our flight and I asked for some items to go (like a prepackaged muffin) They said I could not do that. I’ve stayed in a lot of Marriotts as a Platinum Bonvoy member and this by far was one of my most disappointing experiences.

This was the best experience I have had at a Mariott in a long time. The rooms are very clean and the aesthetic of the entire place is very modern. We had a King Suite room and it had a great layout with the toilet and shower area being separate, each with their own sinks. Close to the downtown area but not close enough to walk.

New hotel close to downtown Huntsville. Walkable to Big Spring if you really, really like to walk. Room was not ready at 7:30pm upon arrival due to staff shortage, but staff was certainly pleasant and apologetic. Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

This is my third stay here in 3 months. Here for work. Rooms are comfy. Clean. Beds are very soft. Great location. Easy to get to. I do the pre check in so it's faster to get to my room. I always ask for room 333. Bathrooms are very clean. Shower is hot and relaxing. I used the gym each day. Clean. Treadmill runs well. They have an Indoor and outdoor pool. Great breakfast included!

Update! This customer service team is top-notch and handled this situation expeditiously. The call from customer service was handled with integrity and warmth. I shared with the representative on the phone, "as a person in leadership I know how it feel having to step out in front/bear the brunt of things you have absolutely no control over. I told her to be kinder to herself and I truly appreciate the call."

The room was clean for the most part. No doubt bathroom had been serviced as well as the bed. However, the sofa looked like it had a layer of dust on it for years and never once had it been dusted or even vacuumed. Pool was dirty as well as random times, spilled drinks in elevator that took a while to get cleaned up. Staff was a hit or miss. Some truly cared and got you operational and others were just not so much. Breakfast, although complimentary, was lacking.

Stayed in hotel for 3 days for a tournament at the Von Braun Convention center. Hotel was amazing! Super close to downtown and the convention center. Room was clean and we'll maintained. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Breakfast for the days we were visiting was phenomenal! Coffee, juice, omelets, meat, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, grits, bread etc! All of it was beyond superb and I will definitely be returning in the future!

Have stayed here twice now. Love the location and free parking. The pool is really tiny and it's in the shade most of the day. Staff was friendly but was sad to see the bar was closed permanently. My issue with this hotel is the rooms. If you are traveling alone, it's fine but with a spouse partner or family, the layout is well, awkward. The bathroom is spilt into two rooms, one with a toilet and small sink and the other a shower and larger sink. So if you need to use the toilet before getting in the shower you have to leave one room and do into the other. The doors to both bathroom areas are barn door style with frosted glass doors. You can see shadowy figures when someone is in there for sure and at night if someone needs to use the restroom the light illuminated the room through the glass door. The rooms definitely could use a design makeover! Beds are comfortable and a good value.

Solidly decent hotel. The separated toilet/shower setup is a bit odd and isn't nearly as private as you'd think. For a hotel that is good for extended stays, a really surprising lack of hooks or hangers in the bathroom, and aknost no place other than the floor for bath supplies. Bed and sofa are comfy, and separated desk setup is very nice. Take-away breakfast has good offerings.

The hotel was full. Two of the cleaning staff had quit that morning. We got into a room at 3:45 (check in was 3:00) the room was filthy due to ongoing repairs. By the time we got into a cleaned room it was 4:00. NONE of this was the fault of the overwhelmed lady at the check in counter. There was NO MANAGEMENT on the property despite insufficient staff for a full hotel. When we got into the cleaned room, there was mold in the shower and white stains on a dark colored sofa. After 3 calls to the manager, Randy Brown, we have not received a follow-up call. All this for a room with a $50 upcharge for a Saturday night. The staff that was the that was there tried their best to make our situation tolerable. Very disappointing for a Marriott. In

I was trying to give a four and a half star. The suit was very clean and comfy rooms! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was because it was a suit and I expected it to be bigger for the price of off season rate! But the difference between the suit I stayed in and a regular room was, just a couch at the very beginning of the room.... No hot-tub and outdoor pool as cool as it was.... The staff was very friendly and helpful.. No full breakfast buffet... Which I was disappointed also... but I would still give it a 4 star...

Hotel is new, nice and clean... staff is rude and dismissive, I booked through a 3rd party site and pre-paid, have the hotel a credit card for incidentals, which they messed up (not sure how unless you're charging someone twice) and charged that card for my full stay also... so now I have 2 charges, I've called 3 days in a row, promised a call back and documentation that it would be fixed... no return call and still 2 charges... seems incompetent at best. Sad to run a beautiful hotel that way.
