We came in town for the Com con. The room was great, the bar on the second floor was Awesome! Where this hotel failed was parking for their guest. We had a parking pass to park on site since we had a room. We complained to the front desk that we parked 10-13 minutes away from hotel and had to walk to room. We were NOT happy. You figured someone would directing traffic in and out of hotel. Once we complained we came back 4 hours later still the same problem. So, I recommend not staying here for any events. They do not accommodate for any needs. The parking sucks !

Great spot for brunch, literally no one there except the bartender and a server. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Drinks were strong and tasty. Small menu but everything on it is amazing. Full bar with all the different kinds of liquors, wines, beer, etc. Relaxing music and comfortable seats. Perfect amount of tables. Bathrooms are very very clean and modern.

Double booked a room by accident and called the front desk immediately. They assured me it was canceled and corrected. Two days later was billed $144 for cancellation fee. The solution from the front desk attendant was that she could send me a receipt…way to show customer appreciation to your Bonvoy status holders.

Excellent service and hospitality. We couldn’t make it home due to the unexpected snow/ice so we had to spend the night here and we loved it. Sarah, and manager Randy went above and beyond to make sure all of us affected by the situation felt safe and taken care of. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!

Perfect. The staff at the desk was warm and inviting upon check-in. The parking was close to the building. The City View rooms are worth it. Great location within a short walk to points of interest and a number of downtown eateries. I didn't have time to stop in the bar or restaurant but they did have an evening crowd which is great if you want to be social without leaving the hotel. My room was spotless, modern, and well appointed. Hurry down to the hydration station on each floor and grab a carafe of water as soon as you check in, they go quick. Overall my stay was excellent, the hotel left nothing to be desired and this goes a long way toward a successful business trip. Thank you AC Hotel Huntsville, I will be back soon.

I enjoy staying at the AC in Huntsville for several reasons. The rooms are roomy and done in a more modernistic style. The location is the best for getting to downtown. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Parking is a breeze. Always clean. I highly recommend staying here.

UPDATE: I received a lovely apology email from the original employee I spoke with. She genuinely thought she had passed along the information already, so she was shocked when she was told about my original review. I appreciated her reaching out and taking responsibility for the situation. Initially, I called the hotel on a Friday to inquire about renting an event space. I spoke to a friendly and helpful employee who said they would send over some information, but it would fall under a different employee's responsibilities due to the nature of the event. And that they would pass the information on to that individual. By the following Wednesday, I still had not had any emails or calls from the AC. I called again, and left a voicemail. Another week has gone by without any followup. Absolutely ridiculous.

The overall experience was awful. The day we checked in, I noticed there was only one cup. There was no body wash in the dispenser, and there was no hand soap. We stayed four nights and had to ask for towels every single day. Even after we specifically asked that our room be cleaned, it wasn't. The first morning, the lobby coffee service area was in disarray and needed to be cleaned and reorganized. There were no cups, and the desk staff acted as if they were hesitant to get more. Often, I noticed there was no body manning the front desk. The main level bar had a very nice bartender on Friday and Saturday nights, but the bar was lacking several things needed to make the drinks we ordered, and they were very common drinks. One of the two elevators was out of order for part of the weekend, but I never noticed a repairman, nor was an "out of order notice posted. The only redeeming quality of the entire stay was our visit on the first night to the 2nd floor outside bar. The server (Malcolm) was great, as were the drinks. However, this is nowhere near enough to get me to stay here again. For the price we paid, I expected MUCH more. This room was part of a block of rooms reserved for a wedding. However, my friend and I would have been MUCH better off staying at the Hampton Inn that was within yelling distance. Well, live and learn. If you are considering staying at this hotel, I HIGHLY suggest you consider other accommodations.

Pretty chintzy for this price range. Beds are full, not queen, and mattresses gave both adults backaches in the morning. No luggage stands or bureaus, so you’re living out of suitcases on the floor. No cots at this location if you need to separate your kids. Also, shoddy construction- the entry door threshold had a huge gap where metal shards and sawdust was still piled up (our baby tried to eat this of course), the glass barn door to the bathroom had no stop on it and would flap around dangerously, and the dhower controls were bizarre. If you like your economy hotels to cost $300/night, it’s perfect.

AC Hotel by Marriott Huntsville is a fantastic hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean and new! The staff was amazing and extremely nice. The gym was spacious, new equipment and clean. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge spread provided. The check in/out was quick and easy. The facility has plenty of parking. The hotel is located just across the park from the Huntsville art center! If you need a hotel in Huntsville this is a great place.

The rooms are pretty nice. The beds are for the most part comfortable. There is a refrigerator but no microwave which seems odd. There is an end room safe which is always nice. The people were very friendly. The Continental breakfast is the same each morning. They could do a better job there. They charge a valet parking charge even though the parking lot is directly behind the hotel. The downtown location is awesome however

Booked hotel, arrived for check in and my rooms were not available. They cancelled my rooms and booked a room at another location that’s a 2 star without a update and ruined my trip. Worst service I have had to be a four star hotel.

Met a client in the lobby a month ago. Absolute gorgeous and well maintained lobby, entrances on both sides makes it easy to park either way!

Great hotel located right on the park and walking distance to downtown. Nice, modern rooms and a bar and restaurant on site. Free parking.

I stayed at this hotel over last weekend. While the location is excellent and the hotel is nicely decorated, I have to share my poor experience with the room cleanliness. When pulling back the sheets to get in bed, I noticed a brown stain on the sheets. After trying to determine what the stain was, we determined it smelled like fecal matter or vomit and it was not just a lingering, old stain. Of course, we were thoroughly disgusted by this. We had to call the front desk twice to get new sheets brought up and then had to put the new sheets on the bed ourselves. Finally, when checking out, I raised the issue with the front desk. The front desk staff looked at the photo and exclaimed how nasty it was, even took a picture of it to show the manager, and said she would have the hotel manager call me. Three days later, I have not heard from the hotel manager. I have never written any sort of travel review before, but was so grossed out and disappointed by the experience that I felt the need to warn those who stay at the hotel to closely check your sheets before getting into the bed.

Awesome place! Very cozy and upscale at the same time. I would recommend more for adults, than family or children. Just more of a adult atmosphere!

Ok, we were there with a group of about 20. The rooms were fine. The front desk was super nice. The first night, the bar consisted of 80% of our people. The bartender was very unfriendly from the beginning. He then yelled at our party for being to loud instead of just saying something to us upon elevation of noise. Sadly, he ruined the experience there and we did not return the next night. Suggestion: get a bartender who knows how to interact with others and/or is not disgruntled. This was not late at night and he should have handled totally differently. Other than that, not a bad establishment and kudos to the front desk!

Beautiful hotel. Great location. They're $9. Breakfast is not even worth $9. No hot food options except for some really hard breakfast potatoes. You better off getting breakfast outside and eggs are an extra $5 🙄 crazy don't call it a breakfast buffet

Modern and functional hotel in downtown Huntsville- great location for a quick weekend trip. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were well appointed. Everything felt fairly new and clean and fresh; the bathroom could have used an additional roll of TP and a task light but otherwise no complaints there. Appreciated the luggage-hold on our last day - made it easy to grab and bite and then head to the airport.

Beautiful rooms, staff were great, but get rid of the valet parking, or at least offer self-parking! This is a new property, and the rooms were perfect. However, I held back a star as I really hate valet parking when there is a perfect surface guest lot at the hotel that is super amenable to easy self parking. I don't want some stranger in my car unless it is absolutely necessary due to no convenient parking available, which is not the case here. Mandatory valet parking is just nickle-and-diming at its worst.

Stayed overnight for concert at Propst Arena. Got there early afternoon, room was ready and quite comfortable. Short walking distance to arena, about 5 minutes. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very clean. Staff was very helpful and nice. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was amazing. The rooms were okay. The water went out during my shower. The water in the sink stopped as well & couldn't come back on. I had to purchase a bottle of water to brush my teeth. Valet parked my car & ran over a nail & denied doing it. The valet supervisor stated that they have people out their picking up the nails from construction so this wouldnt happen. I just had my tires check prior to this trip & then this happen. This place has no accountability. I had no issues until valet parked my car. This was my first & last time at this location.

Its 1:38a. The walls are so paper thin I can hear the BEAR next door SNORING SO LOUD that I cannot sleep. I have NEVER been to a hotel with such thin walls. Lets not forget all the running above us and every noise possible. Pathetic for the price.

My family stayed here for 3 nights. Nice hotel and great location. Service and food, not so much. No mention of our member status when checking in. Staff was not very accommodating (aside from one gentleman at the front desk who was very helpful in bringing me towels for wet chairs outside). They advertise for free coffee in the lobby but that is only until about 10am and then they tell you to go buy coffee at the bar. You can’t get coffee at all in the afternoon/nighttime. There is no real restaurant. They serve food at the tables by the bar but only during restricted times and those times were not provided to us. You have to request housekeeping which is fine, but housekeeping didn’t empty any of our trash cans or take dirty towels. Elevators are slow and sketchy. Employees at the bar were very nice and did a great job. Employee serving breakfast did not. None of my family were given eating utensils, napkins, condiments. When asked, she forgot and did not bring them. The front deck with the fire was fun to hang out at and the hotel itself has a great location. Not sure if I’d stay again.

Though a bit on the boring side, I've always liked the AC Hotel brand for its sleek and simple design, The AC Hotel Huntsville Downtown pretty much met my expectations. Checking in was quick and easy. My room was pristine and I had a great view of Big Spring Park and the Huntsville Museum of Art from my window. I had the best night's sleep I've had in a while here with how comfortable and peaceful the environment was. The location is very walkable to downtown as well so you don't need to worry about driving and parking in the city. Breakfast in the morning was a choice between the buffet for $9, a choice of three a la carte items for $10, of both for $14 (if I remember correctly.) I went with the Conzuela (I think that's what they called it?) a la carte and it was indescribably good. Give it a try if you get the chance. The free Nespresso coffee and choice of juices was great too. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in downtown.

Their conference room had floor to ceiling windows. It looked out to the park or greenspace and was very pleasant compared to being in a windowless venue room. Chairs were comfortable and the one day conference was very enjoyable.

Stayed here for a recent concert at the new Orion Amphitheater. I will warn you about this place..... Great new building, nice amenities. Employees are a bit questionable. We were told the bar was open til midnight..... NOT. But the worst thing was PARKING. In the nearby event center, there were several High School graduations that night. At 3:00 there were no parking spots for 4 blocks..... we told the girls at the desk and they just did not care that non-customers were taking all their parking, all the overflow, etc.... So before you make a reservation, check the schedule at the nearby Von Braun Center.

The hotel is very nice and rooms are big and spacious. But the regular service is very laid back. The plates in the the restaurant were not clean. The location of the hotel is really nice and within 5 minutes of everything nice. Though the Nasa center is a little far but thats ok. Over all its a good hotel, just the service people need to pull up their socks.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and modern. Can't beat the location being right there on the park within walking distance of restaurants and other activities.

The AC was average in some areas and below average in others. The big things...There was a lot of hotel noise through the night. We woke to no water due to a plumbing issue. The restaurant didn’t have food. Our room had not been cleaned well. Also, they didn’t pay attention to the little things. You have to move the coffee maker to another location to plug it in for coffee. This was the worst Marriott property I’ve ever experienced.

This hotel was affiliated with the Huntsville Comic And Fan Expo during 22-24 April 2022. Hotel decor is very modern, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Large shower was also nice. Hotel Staff were the best-of-the best!! We arrived early so no rooms were ready yet but JOY at the front desk was nice enough to call me when the room was ready. Her Customer Service skills were TOP NOTCH!!! After finishing at the convention, we interacted with Dajuan (I have trouble remembering) who also was extremely pleasant and also had Great Customer Service skills. The next morning we took advantage of the breakfast offered. BAR and KITCHEN staff displayed the same great attitude regarding customer satisfaction. Whomever is running this hotel definitely knows what they are doing. We will be back for next year's convention and will be staying at this hotel again. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

Front desk extremely friendly. Nice room and view. The worst house keeping ever couldn't get refresh 4 days after begging every day. Will look elsewhere next trip.

Nice hotel. Rooms were nice and quite. Staff was nice and helpful. The main thing lacking was the bar. Posted sign said they close at 11:30pm during the week, but was told by desk temp hours are 10pm which is fine, but they did last call at 9:25 while many were still at bar. They just wanted to go home. Not a great attitude either.

I was just there for a one day conference. Did not stay in a room. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Since I am a tea drinker, having hot water available is very important to me. Not only were there four teas to choose from but there was hot water well into the afternoon. Staff was also readily available for pick up of dishes and garbage. Staff were also wearing masks which I very much appreciate. Very nice view from our meeting room. Nice place.
