On the recommendation of a friend we recently became patients at Creekside. We have had a terrible time finding a good thorough doctor in the Huntsville/Madison area since moving here several years back. However, Dr. Perrin was wonderful! He truly took a long time with us each to get to know us and about our health. I would recommend him to anyone. The staff were also very pleasant to work with for setting up appointments and checking in. Stephanie, Dr Perrin's nurse is very kind and genuinely wants to know each patient and their history.

What an absolute joke. Found out on Sunday afternoon that I had to be out of town on Monday. Called that morning ( day of my appointment) canceled and told them I would call back and reschedule. Called back a couple of weeks later to reschedule, was told I had a $50 fee for not coming to my appointment. Was told by billing they would send a note to Dr Showers to see if he wound waive the fee. Several days later I had not heard anything, called back and was told I was discharged as a patient. If o could give 0 stars I would. I have only been a patient there for about 10 years or so.

Dr. Perrin is great. Very knowledgeable and personable. However, I'd say he's hampered by the needlessly low-tech nature of the office as well as some of the support staff. It's 2023, yet Creekside has no online portal, not even an *email address*. If you have a document you need to get to them, they require you to either drop it off or fax it (???). I've had a few instances on normal business days during normal business hours (e.g. not during lunch) when no one's answered the phone or returned my voicemails. And now at the moment I'm having a horrible time just trying to get in contact with billing: Every time I call them, no one picks up, I leave a voicemail, and no one responds. I finally talked to an operator, who put me on hold to go tell the billing person to return my call. She did, but I wasn't able to pick up. I immediately called back...and got the voicemail again. It's sad to have an awesome doctor and yet to be so frustrated by the people and needless software limitations of the office that you're already starting to contemplate changing doctors after less than a year.

Posting for my elderly aunt, who was a patient of Dr. Kinzer. She is leaving the practice after over 40 years, due to Dr. Summerford's unprofessionalism/condescension. Get it together, and treat people how you would want to be treated.

My first year attending has been an incredibly positive experience. The receptionists were helpful, even though their enthusiasm felt a bit lacking in our conversations. However, I can't praise Dr. Perrin enough—he absolutely deserves this review. His service and authenticity during every appointment are nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Perrin's ability to create a comfortable and personalized atmosphere sets him apart. He goes the extra mile to understand his patients, making each visit feel like a conversation with a friend. Without a doubt, I highly recommend him to anyone seeking outstanding healthcare.

I am very disappointed of how the Huntsville practice operates. Doctors are caring and educated but particularly Dr. Perrin’s assistant Stephanie is a very rude woman and she acts very unprofessional as a nurse. I had mention it to Dr. Perrin but she became worst and worst during the time. There is no way for a patient to access anyone, or bring up any issue with the staffs to be addressed other than here so here we go.

2nd update: If you are a current patient, and assuming they still maintain any sort of web portal, please go access it and download everything now. Either they have ceased using web portal or removed my access without my requesting it, so I can't get my data. Just wanted to warn folks in case. UPDATE OCTOBER 2023: After almost 12 years with this same doctor, I am electing to take my own and my family’s care elsewhere. The reasons are incredibly disappointing, and enlightening, but I am not here to complain. I intend to follow the Creekside office manager’s advice she gave me when I said “what would you do in my position?” Which was, verbatim, “find a new doctor.” A few updates to my review, many years later: I do not recommend this practice. It has been shown to me that money and quantity of people in and out is their priority. That’s absolutely their prerogative, but those looking for medical professionals that value financially responsible long-term compliant patients should beware. I would suggest your money and energy is best spent elsewhere. I apologize to those who read my former positive review and may have been treated the way I have been or worse. I hope you find compassionate continuity of care. I’ll leave the original for historicity, and beg you forgive my “before the curtain was pulled back abruptly” Pollyanna naïveté. ———- Creekside has been great to me, and very prompt with appointments and calls. Though I did have to wait a very long time on my first visit, I later figured out (at least I think) that the established patients were given priority. After that visit I've never waited longer than 10 minutes in the waiting room, or around 20 at the lab (that was a particularly busy day, to be fair). Dr. O'Halloran is kind and knowledgeable, and actually seems to care about whole body health which is wonderful! Most other docs I've been to look for symptoms to treat, but Dr. O'Halloran assesses the whole system. Prescriptions have been called in promptly and correctly. I'm thankful to have found a great primary care office

Dr. Perrin is the kind of family practice doctor that every person needs, and possibly the best one I’ve ever had. Very knowledgeable, kind, and healthcare cost conscious. I would recommend Dr. Perrin to anyone!
