One of the best Tex Mex restaurants in town that consistently delivers great food! Their chips, salsa, and jalapeño ranch dips are among the best in town. Their sauces are what really sets them apart as you won’t find another place that has delicious hatch green chili or boom boom sauce. Their margaritas are great as well and comes in many different flavors.

This was my first time eating at Chuy's but definitely not my last. The portions were plentiful to satisfy your appetite, I walked away with leftovers. The food itself was seasoned great, it was very flavorful. The decor was nice, it was a great attempt at being authentic. I will definitely look for other franchises and definitely eat there when I am in town.

Today was our first visit to Chuys in Huntsville. Colorful and bright decor with fun Elvis dedication pics around the dining room. Outdoor patio seating looks festive and fun. Menu was creative and tasty. We had beef burrito and a bean & cheese burrito. I had the BOOM BOOM medium sauce it was so delicious. Margarita was huge and they also have Mojitos too. The warm lightly toasted chips come with jalapeño ranch sauce and salsa that is like a pico with fresh vegetables. Calvin was an excellent server, attentive, and cheerful. Not sure what the neg reviews were about delays, our service time was perfect. If you can’t wait, eat more chips and enjoy a Margarita 😉👍

Have dined at Chuy’s Huntsville twice lately and it was fabulous! The food and service were great. Friendly greeting and seated promptly. Our group of 4 were served quickly and never ran out of drinks or chips/salsa. Steak fajitas were delicious and cooked perfectly. Guacamole, dips, soup and salsa great as well. A very good meal.

I love Chuy's. As many times as I go, I always end up getting the big as your arm chicken fajita burrito with boom boom sauce. My wife got veggie enchiladas minus the squash. We also ordered the nachos, which is a personal favorite. Got some guac, but it was extremely bland. Service seemed a little slow, but not bad. They accidentally messed up one of the enchiladas by making it a cheese only instead of a veggie one, but they corrected that right away. Overall it was a nice dinner. Looking forward to eating here more!

My husband and I have been going to chuys for years! This is hands down the worst location. 50% of the time the food doesn’t taste fresh at all. Last night we ordered $55 worth of food for the last time. Even their salsa and jalapeño ranch were very clearly NOT fresh. I’m going to guess 2-3 days old. This is disgusting.

Good food but cleanliness is lacking. If you look closely on the pictures I've attached you see what looks like spackle or dust bunnies on the wall and floor. Roughly two years ago that had a very different color and consistency. Someone couldn't hold down the wonderful strong drinks and spicy delicious fresh salsa. I told the manager on duty that this happened when it was fresh. A few months later I told them again. I was sure to tell them it was on the walls, floor, and door to this stall in the women's restroom. After notifying the MoD twice I have made an effort to not use this bathroom. Saturday I had no choice. Thanks to a puddle on the floor you can see some gunk rehydrating. If the bathrooms are like this what state is the kitchen in? I love the food here. I do. I just wish they had boiling water and a scrub brush handy.

Always a great experience at Chuy’s in beautiful Huntsvegas (HSV) AL!!! We love the ambiance, the drinks are great and the steak fajitas for two are the best anywhere!!! You want to get the steak fajitas for two with extra juicy steak. The steak is perfectly marinated!!🤩. Always a fun bar and great people attending to your thirsty needs. WE LOVE THIS PLACE…Every Week!!! Lately the Chuy’s has been terrible. Food is lack luster compared to several months ago, chips are stale, management is way off!!! Not going back anymore. Buyer beware. BTW… Waiter’s are trying to make a good try under terrible management circumstances.

Visited Chuy's on Friday afternoon and had a nice lunch. Food is good Tex Mex, nothing fancy. Their salsa is fresh made and delicious. I'm a crispy taco lover and I enjoyed them here. They have a large outdoor covered patio for dining as well.

My daughter and I ordered the fajitas-we had our own buffet! We also ordered the cheese dip, not my favorite queso dip but it was still good. I also had a margarita during happy hour so I was happy 😊

While visiting friends in Huntsville, my wife was thrilled to find Chuy's had come to town! Years ago she went to one and had an amazing dining experience. The place looks awesome with cool decorations, something to see wherever you happen to be looking. The sound of classic rock was playing throughout the restaurant! Walking in the front door you'll find some Chuy's merch for sale. My wife picked up a cool Nightmare before TexMex T-shirt! Chips and salsa were brought to the table immediately after being seated. The chips were warm and freshly made. The salsa was a tad spicy, but the creamy jalapeno dip was nothing short of amazing! We took home a 64 Oz container it was that good! For drinks, I ordered a grande house margarita on the rocks with salt on the rim. Typically in an $11 grande Margarita is ordered I get a very big drink. I was shocked when I got a plastic cup that held no more than 10 oz of a truly awful margarita. All I could taste was lime juice and salt. It was very little salt on the rim of the cup because most of it was inside. When I asked my server if this was indeed the large she said it was. Buyer beware. For my entree, I ordered the Chuychunga which was their version of a chimichanga. The description is listed as a flour tortilla filled with roasted chicken, cheese, cilantro, and green chilies deep fried and served with one of their signature sauces. For my sauce, I chose Tex-Mex, their homemade red chili sauce made from scratch chili con carne. The entree was also served with refried beans rice and a dollop of cream cheese and a couple of shreds of lettuce. I love a good chimichanga, and this was not one. The chicken was dry and overcooked, with no cheese or green chilies apparent, and the sauce wasn't covering the deep-fried burrito. The beans were tasty as long as you didn't look at them. They had the appearance of some sort of animal excrement. The rice was dry and unremarkable. A quick survey amongst everyone in our dinner party and we all felt like the kitchen was off tonight. That's pretty bad because we had six people that had marginal meals. Because we are staying with our friends in Huntsville, I picked up the tab. For the $150 we spent we could have gotten a much better meal elsewhere today. We expressed our concerns to the server and she offered to remake our dishes but time did not permit so we just finished our meals and left. Speaking of service our server was exemplary! Kayla was attentive and make sure no one's drinks were empty and we never ran out of chips or salsa or creamy jalapeno dip!

3 Roasted chicken tacos in crunchy shells were so dry. No sauce. Had to order and pay extra for sour cream and guacamole. Drank water. The waiter was too busy to give us napkins. Very disappointed. Not worth the money.

Chuy’s food is always so good. The Grand Ma’s Rockin Rita tasted good and was not just juice. The fajitas were cooked perfectly and came out hot. Our server Matty was quick and extremely fast. He was also very kind. Great atmosphere and well priced food!

Absolutely love chuys and their cuisine but every time I come to Huntsvilles location it’s disappointing. I get that we all have off days but the service is always mediocre, the chips were soggy, and I’m always left unsatisfied with my visit. Lastly, if costumers are going to be sitting close to the bar/kitchen, please don’t let us over hear the drama that’s going on within the establishment, it’s very unprofessional. I shouldn’t know there is drama between 2 employees, and hearing them being reprimanded and chased around the restaurant.

Very clean, very nice dining atmosphere. Best tex mex food ever!! Everything is so good and is probably the freshest tasting food I have ever tasted, the guacomole will knock your socks off, so fresh and so much flavor, you could make that a meal all by itself. The serving sizes are huge. Well worth every single penny, for sure!! Make sure you ask for Calvin as your server, he is the best server I think I have ever had, super friendly and very knowledgeable, he makes you feel right at home. This place deserves a 10 star rating in my book. Pictured below is the chicken tortilla soup, steak burrito, hatch green chili sauce, boom boom sauce, guacamole and queso .. the sauces they make definitely set them apart from any other restraraunt, and all of them, are beyond fantastic tasting.. I really cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Be sure to let them know if it's your first visit, you get a "sauce tour".

Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was very clean. Large portions at a very reasonable price. The main dish was hot out of the kitchen and tasty. The refried beans and rice were a little dry. But overall, it was a great experience.

Took a while for someone to recognize we were waiting to be seated( There were 2 tables occupied), so it's not because they were busy. Took just as long for someone to greet us at the table. The table we sat at was wet from the previous patron's drinks and food; the food was undercooked( they did correct it). This was my first and last visit. Our server was kind and assisted as much as possible. Overall unimpressed and disappointed.

Service was great!! I had the steak burrito with beans and rice. The steak burrito was good. The beans had no taste. Now the margaritas are AMAZING!! I will definitely be back for a drink or 2 or 3 😁

We went here after my niece's High School Graduation. Wonderful food with GREAT flavors, especially for a Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend if you don't have a big appetite, or just want smaller portions, you should order one plate to share

Chuy's has a lot of space inside. The bigger than your face burrito doesn't joke around with it's size. I'm not sure if you can recommend how long the steak is cooked though.

Went for lunch with coworkers last week. Excellent service (wish I caught our waitress’s name, she was awesome). I had the fajita chicken soft tacos which was the perfect portion for lunch. We had to park at the garage but there were plenty of tables open so don’t be worried about a wait at lunch time on a week day!

At first glance, it appears to be a fun and enjoyiplace. However, after ordering and receiving our food, the order was wrong, from the wrong size queso to the beef enchilada that had zero beef in it. The apology was welcome but the remake was for the entire plate again rather than just the enchilada. Waste of food. Sitting, while waiting for our check, I began to notice water standing on the floor in the kitchen that looked nasty, food on the floor in various places around the dining room with no effort to clean it up, dirty dishes left stacked on tables, and one table had sat the table daily special topper stand on that same nasty floor for more room. I suspect it was just picked up and reset on the "clean" table after they left with no sanitizer. All in all, I'm disappointed in the one. I was a regular guest at the one in Allen, TX, but will not be returning to this one again. For this level of food, we spent way too much money to be grossed out on incorrect orders.

The salsa had too much of a vinegar taste! I got the tortilla soup which wasn't good this time, came once before and it was great! Wife just wanted some cheese dip for chips and we both had a tea. The cheese dip had a burnt flavor to it tike it was left on high for couple days! Freaked out when we got bill! Definitely not coming back! For $30 we got soup, cheese dip and 2 drinks

The food is pretty great. Friendly staff and service was perfect for us. They have great prices for the amount of food you get. We will be back. I will say, the spice level is higher than the normal Americanized Mexican restaurant. So proceed with caution if you don't like spice at all.

Good food. I am not a fan of their salsa and such, but my friends liked them. Good service. Great patio! Interesting decor. Fair price (except for tea/sodas). Great location. Busy but not full, usually.
