Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Location is very convenient. Floor tile in bathroom had a loose tile due to deflection. Reset it with silicone and use grout caulk for repair.

Love, love, love a walk-in shower. Haven’t run into walk-in showers publicly in the states before – see them more at resorts and spas in other countries. I love the walk-in shower. Perfect pressure. Perfect temperature. I love that they use Dove products. Gorgeous breakfast area.

I Prepaid for my room for a discounted rate. When I called to upgrade my room, the reservations rep told me the rate would remain the same. The hotel charged me an extra $19. I was told I was being charged $20 for incidentals and that was not the case at all. They kept $19.39 from the $20. When I checked out my receipt didn't show an extra charge. The charge was posted afterwards. The pool/hot tub is not working but you don't find that out until you get there. The room was mostly clean except for a few hairs on the floor and shower in the bathroom. The walls are thin and you can hear people coughing and coming in at night.

Courteous Staff. Clean lobby and spacious room. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the wallpaper in the bathroom has started to peel and there are some stains in the carpet. Beyond that, the beds were comfortable and the hot water was instant! I would recommend this hotel for business travelers who appreciate an older property and won't be too picky about some cosmetic defects.

My company held a multiple day customer training school at the Holiday Inn Express in Hurst and we were nothing but impressed with the service before and during our stay. Susan Watts, GM, worked with us to get everything setup and was able to be extremely flexible with the room changes we needed to make due to Texas weather. The conference was perfect for our needs and was clean every morning we came in. Susan helped with ideas for meals during our stay. The nights we were there the hotel had a two-hour reception which was perfect as there were options for everyone's tastes, way more than just meat, cheese and beer. The conference was perfect for our needs and was clean every morning we came in. If you are looking for a central DFW hotel with conference rooms, defiantly look at this hotel.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, front desk staff was great and so friendly. Kids enjoyed the pool area. Lots of dining options nearby.

The airport sent me here to stay overnight due a flight delay. I arrived to a line of 50 people in the lobby waiting to be checked in for rooms with only one staff member working the front desk. I ended up waiting for over an hour to be checked in. Very dissatisfied in management for not having 2 staff members working. They obviously prioritize profits over a good customer experience. I will not be returning.

Ratty furniture & a/c didn’t work in my room, summer in Texas, no a/c, your an idiot if you think I’m paying that much for a no a/c having room. Plus, they had a loud tractor power washing the building starting at 6:45 a.m. For a week straight! When I brought these issues up to the manager, they just told me I should stay somewhere else. I promptly checked and stayed at the Hyatt. Don’t give these people your money!

Very bad on communication we wanted to stay for 3 nights and the person at the front only booked us for 2 nights, the next day we had two of their employees come knock our door asking us how long we booked for we said three nights, then later they came back telling us we had to leave because we were only booked for two nights. It was such an inconvenience cause now we had to go and find another hotel just to stay for one night. Also, one of their elevator has a problem cause it will stop working for a few minutes, then start again, so be careful if you do find yourself over there.

Absolutely amazing people! Cheryl goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. This has become a very comfortable place to be when I’m away from home. I have gotten to know them so well it’s like they are family. Other places may offer good services, but they do not come close to here. Great access to good food and entertainment without being in a crowded environment.

I was there for a 50-person private party. The building and outside ambiance are all amazing. We had very poor acoustics in the reserved room, so it's not the best for 50-plus people. Otherwise, it was a great time at a storied location.

We had a 3 stay went out all day on the second day and our room was never cleaned we had no towels. I called to the front desk and reported it and ended up going downstairs to get some towel and found out no one’s room was cleaned. The lobby was full with guest requesting towels. We left the hotel at 2am in the morning got downstairs to the lobby there was no front desk person. About 10 minutes after being downstairs here comes the front desk lady from outside getting high!!!!!! I like New Orleans but I won’t stay here again.

Have had to stay a few weekends recently, so different rooms. Beautiful entrance, rooms are typical rooms, not fancy but not bad. First HIE we've stayed in where there are no fresh fruit options nor plain oatmeal for breakfast. Have brown sugar oatmeal packs, but we can't have that sugar. Otherwise, the regular breakfast fare: eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, bagels, pancakes, coffee, etc. Overall, nice, kid friendly place. Great location close to many places and just off the highway.

Great! Stayed for 2 nights while going to the Cowboys game. Hotel very nice & comfortable. Pool was fun! Great breakfast. Perfect location lots to do with a family in the vicinity. A little far from the ATT stadium, we took an Uber which made it easier for us, it was about a 15/20 min drive.

Wonderful hotel, near lots of stores and restaurants, super close to the freeway. I stayed for a week and my room was clean, the breakfast was great each day, they had 3 or 4 different rotations of meat and eggs. My AC worked wonderfully!!!! the only cons. if you can call them that, my toilet would get air bubbles in the pipes and when I flushed it sometimes splashed back over the rim of the toilet seat, which was gross. also, the carpet was gross. just stained and matted. it didn't feel like it was dirty to walk on. but I think they need to steam clean them. all in all, I would totally stay here again!

The Holiday Inn Express, Hurst TX offers an accommodating and welcoming atmosphere. Cheryl D. ensures that we are well taken care of and her creativity and presentation of the foods served at night made it more of a hone environment. We are grateful for her, friendly staff members and it’s a place where you feel at home. We refer this place as our second home, and it is good to be welcomed back and treated with excellent care. Keep up the great work! Doctor Revis

Cheryl did everything in her power to make sure our stay was the best it could possibly be. Whether it was replacing a room key or answering any questions my group had. 5 star hotel service. The whole staff was great.

Absolutely fantastic! Service was fast and friendly. The Breakfast bar was by far one of the best I have ever seen. And some items are still available past 9am. The Room was amazing. Spacious and clean. Shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers mounted in the shower. Everything was great.

Stayed here for 5 nights! Staff was good and the kitchen staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make my special needs child happy! Thank you. The rooms were clean and passed the Lysol wipe test. Beds could have been a bit better. Area was safe and plenty of lighting. Thank you!

This place had beg bugs I got bit over 16x all over as did my husband. When I told the front desk they didn’t offer a refund only to switch rooms. I was lucky enough to get one night refunded by another front desk employee the next morning. They did switch out or rooms before I realized the next day I had 16 bites. Which we should’ve just left after realizing they had bed bugs in the first room. When we checked n on our room was on the 3rrd floor which reeked of bleach and now I know why. The front desk seemed to not care and acted like they knew and it was nothing new. We will not be staying there again.
