Woah. This place is awesome. Spicy bulgogi was so good. Imagine a Korean chipotle but with a nicer vibe. Great pricing for what you get too. The hot bowl was a really nice presentation but next time I may get the regular bowl. I was so hungry and it was so good that the hot bowl kept the food too hot for me to devour 😂. Easy 5 stars.

First visit. Delicious food! A big man. There's three digital kiosks to order from and that's it. Has a first time. It did take a little bit of time but I got through it with minimal issues. I did observe an older couple struggling to get through it. I ordered the barbecue chicken with noodles in a hot stone bowl. Very tasty and I love how the stone bowl kept the food warm the whole time. I don't know if I'd do the hot stone bal bowl every time but I did enjoy it. There were four different sauces available to choose from, I tried the sesame and Korean barbecue and enjoy them both. Soy sauce and some type of spicy sauce. I will definitely come back! My bowl cost around $15. Fountain drinks are around $2.50. I'm forgetting the name of the appetizer we got but it was similar to potstickers, crispy and very tasty. Around $4

Good to have dine in again and friendly, patient staff who would bring your selection to your table all nice and warm. Good selections and you can add various sauces. I do miss the salad and panchan buffet that was discontinued because of the pandemic though. They had a great sauce to go with fresh mushrooms and salad greens before.

WHAT THEY’RE KNOWN FOR: Korean food, their hot stone bowl dishes that makes the rice crispy “burning” rice. 🍒WHAT WE ORDERED: • Bulgolgi Bibimbop Hot Stone Bowl • Spicy Chicken Hot Stone Bowl • Mandoo Dumpling Noodle Bowl • Kimchi Mandoo Broth 🍒 PRICE: ~$60 🍒 THE VIBE: simple, but very large interior. Great casual food spot. 🍒 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! One of my favorite go-tos. •••• Overall Rating: 11/10 - If you haven’t had Burning Rice yet, you are seriously missing out! One of the best and accessible Korean food spots located all over the DFW metroplex. - The flavors are immaculate and I’ve been going here since 2017 and I always have a great meal here. They used to have a miso soup station but they took that away but still serve a side of miso soup with some dishes! - Highly recommend trying their dumplings, the Mandoo noodle bowl was sooo good and the japchae at the bottom was chef’s kiss. I would recommend everything we ordered. This place packs a lot of flavor! - A very reliable place for a good hot Korean food meal!

Crazy good food!! Loved everything we tried at this joint. I wonder why I did not visit this place before. I am probably going to be back soon for another meal. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Superlike!

Interesting Korean style restaurant. Tried the burning rice with spicy Bolgogi with sunny side up egg, it’s pretty good. My favorite sauce was the Korean chili sauce. The food comes out hot and stays hot for most of the meal, it’s a cool concept. Also seating and vibe is pretty nice.

This is really good food. We've been here about four times now and I've tried a bunch of different things on the menu. The picture on this review is bibimbap with the fried pork. It's super awesome you all should check this out

I had Burning Rice delivered through UberEats for lunch. This is the abundant deal. Spicy garlic pork, kimchi rice, an over easy egg, and everything in the bowl. This is on fire. I put some of their spicy soy sauce on it. Comes with 2 mandolin dumplings which were awesome and miso soup. I wasn’t a fan of the soup. I generally like miso soup. Always try something twice though 😊

Tried Korean food for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. All the food was delicious, from the veggie rice to the noodles and the spicy shrimp too. I ordered the regular bowl which comes with your choice of veggies, rice or noodles and protein of your choice, it also comes with a delicious miso soup. All in all very good place to try Korean food.

Had the craving and Burning Rice delivered! We hadn't been here in quite a bit after having moved further away from the area. We sure were glad though to make the drive as everyone got their Korean fix in. Ordering is via self-help kiosks and is super easy. After you order, the food takes no more than a few minutes before an employee carts it out to you. Spend the extra few bucks and get the combo with the mandoo and soup. It is easily worth the extra $2 to $3! We will definitely be back for more.

My husband and I went for dinner on a Sunday night about an hour before closing. As we walked in there was a large sign blocking the way to the counter. It told us to order at the kiosk. Thankfully we were used to those things. We chose to get a bowl. Then you have to choose if you want a regular bowl or one that comes with two pot stickers, fried, or one that is sizzling hot cast iron. My niece got that last time I went and it literally smelled like her food was burning as we ate. I guess that is why they call it Burning Rice, lol. You have to choose your rice or noodle, they have white, brown, or veggie rice, we chose noodles. then you choose your protein, we got bulgogi beef but they also had shrimp chicken, pork, tofu, etc. Next you choose your veggies or toppings. We chose carrots, broccoli, bean sprouts, another unknown item which turned out to be the noodle we already chose earlier, fish cake, which looked like sliced fried scrambled eggs, and nori, which is thinner than the carrot slivers we got. Ours was $13 but my husband chose extra meat so that was like $1.50 extra. We also got a 5pc. Honey Chicken wings for me and a Spicy order for my husband. They were around $7+ each We shared the bowl. Oh and I had to try the honeydew melon drink they had and my husband got a fountain drink. I think all in total our bill was $38. You grab your drink cup and a numbered metal thing next to the register and tell the computer your number. When you get to your table there is a bar that has sauces, chop sticks, utensils, condiment cups, straws and to go containers you can go up and get whatever you need or like, oh and of course a soda fountain. They bring your food to the table when it is done. As I knew he would my husband loved the spicy wings. They are soooo crispy! I love, love, love the honey wings! Best wings ever!!!! We were stuffed when we left and took two and a half wings home with us. My husband said we would probably go broke if he had one of these restaurants near his work. We will definitely be back as often as we can.

Update I'm super bummed at the quality and quantity of the food. I have dined in and have had take from here multiple times, and the decline continues. I ordered extra veggies this time to compensate for the lower quantity, and still received less. Definitely not what it was a couple month back. Review from the first time I ate here Simple and pretty straightforward. You can place your order at a kiosk or order before hand online and then seat yourself. They bring your order to you. Food was so good. You can customize your bowl. They had a great amount of options but not an overwhelmingamount. We did wait a bit for it but considering the amount of customers and how the plates are made it wasn't bad. The vibe was chill and it was very clean. Will definitely be returning

Food was good, reasonable portion and service was good. Only part I was not satisfied is with the drink. Ordered winter melon juice for $3.99 with light ice and the portion of the juice were not full. When asked, they mentioned because the order was light ice. I personally don't think it's fair to assume such a method.

I enjoyed their food when I initially ordered them on UberEats and decided to go dine in today. This restaurant is a bit of a mess with only 3 self ordering kiosks to order. While it is a good idea, this also means people taking forever on the kiosks, people skipping lines, and elders who can be confused on how to use the machine to order. I eventually decided to sit down and order via the QR code. After waiting for 30 minutes, my food still not out yet. When a worker finally checks my order on my phone, it turned out that they packed my order even I have told them I am dining in and no packing needed. This shows that they lack the attention to details and the food was barely lukewarm when I started eating. This is why I couldn’t give a higher than 3-star review. The food is good but not the format of the restaurant setup where they don’t use employees to take orders.

Location close to mall and stores so a great spot to come to before and after. Parking right out front. Kiosk and option to order with a person available. I liked the kiosk since I could see everything and make it how I would prefer. It was all delicious! Even the kids bowl is a good amount of food. We tried the shrimp, meat, tofu and chicken and it was all great!

Easily some of the best Korean food I’ve ever experienced. After lunch here, my husband and I kept saying we just wanted to go back to even sit and take in the aroma of the place. The food is fresh and delicious. Bonus for you introverts or those just wanting quiet time to yourself- they have self ordering stations and you seat yourself.

Me and my fiance absolutely loved this place. The food was amazing. I got the Spicy Bulgogi with all the veggies and a sunny side up egg. Absolutely delicious. Definitely need to come here and try it out!

PROs: Clean establishment. Place order either at the kiosk or at the register (learned this option was available afterwards). Take a number, find place to sit, condiments & 'to-go' boxes are available in the center island and your meals are served to your table. The food was exceptionally good. But we weren't crazy about the kimichi. Next time we'll order without it. Give the place a try. We will again. CONs: The staff appeared reserved. Limited parking up front that is shared with other establisments. We parked in the bank parking lot next door. Our 1st visit was a couple of weeks ago. No greetings when we entered. Wasn't sure if anyone was working and had no clue where to start until we saw the sign pointing to kiosk.

I found out about Burning Rice through Door Dash. I was amazed of how good the food was even though (as expected from door dash deliveries) the food was lukewarm at best. The portions are great and the customization is a awesome for picky eaters. Recently went to have the Hot plate bibimbap with spicy bulgogi (not spicy at all btw) and man was that good. I admit it was way too hot for me but the flavor was way better and was worth the trip from my comfy couch to the restaurant. The restaurant has a nice interior design and a clean atmosphere. Greatly recommended!

literally so great, i go here a lot with one of my friends and it’s our favorite spot when in the area. I love getting the burning bowl since it helps food to stay hot. Overall there good is great and it’s a nice spot for some to try something new. I enjoy the contactless pay and ordering, it was a nice renovation and it’s a very calm space to eat in. I recommend there kimchi rice and bbq chicken. :)

It was amazing. The food was delicious 😋. The spicy Bulgogi with kimchi rice on a hot stone bowl with everything on it is a definite must. Yummy, yummi, yummy 😋 😍. It was clean, and the staff masked 😷 up. So thank you for the Awesomesauce Dinner!!!!
