Hotel staff is very helpful. I am new to country and staff went above and beyond to answer all my questions. Cleanliness is sparkling. Newly renovated rooms. I had very big two queen beds. Very nice hotel and amazing staff. Love to stay again.

Checked in on Nov.13 th, prices have been stable, hotel is under renovation but staff is very courteous, patient and definitely attends to patrons needs as best as possible! I've had a great STAY and I've been here a month! I've seen a lot of patrons get IRATE with front desk and the desk clerk ( Mike ) definitely knows how to stay patient, stay courteous and great sense of humor! A great place to stay for low rate! Also close to MANY RESTAURANTS! VERY CONVENIENT!

I stayed here about 6 months ago and from the last time I stayed here they have completely redone their rooms and got their parking lot repaved. The room had completely new furniture and had been painted. The people at the desk were great as usual but the only thing that isn't working is the pool, but I never intended to use it anyway. I would absolutely recommend this hotel when staying in the area, can't wait to see what the property looks like when it's completely renovated.

I am editing to account for my latest stay. My air conditioner went out in my apartment and I needed to stay for a week or so. Check in was fine, the first issue came 3 days into our stay where I had to argue with the front desk clerk about my rate (which then became the theme for my entire stay-making me 45 minutes late to work one of those days). Day four, my daughter asked for a trash bag and the female manager told her it would be $3. So we can take the trash out of the room??? That you would use if you were cleaning it?? Day five I pay my extension at 8am, then at 1130 I get a call from my sick husband who tells me they are in the room to kick us out. After calling and straightening it out with Sam(manager) he still wouldn’t leave the room. Day six, the woman says she won’t take my change “everyday”, it was $1.47. Today we checked out, and I told them we would pay the $20 extra to check out at 12. They literally knocked on my door 3 times telling us we needed to leave. My husband finally had to remind him that we were paying $20 to stay late. All in all, I would no longer recommend this hotel. Everyone was very nice and worked with us on everything we needed. Front desk worked with us and even caught my mistake I counting my cash. Great place, highly recommended!

Rough experience the first day. The key and air conditioner didn't work right. The staff corrected this. There are no working ice machines, so I had to go to the front desk every time. Construction was also going on so no breakfast. The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. My room itself was updated and looked great. All except for the air conditioner.

Overall a decent hotel. The renovated room is very nice, but there are some non-updated items glaring at you. Most of the furniture is new, except for the worn-out couch and chair. The lobby is currently under renovation. The hallways stink like weed and mold. Overall the room feels safe enough, but all exterior doors have their locks removed so there’s no security and anyone can enter the hotel. Currently the breakfast, pool, and hot tub are closed. This location used to be a Days Inn. My keycard says Wyndham Rewards; the soap and notepad say Quality Inn.

Motel is run down, tatty banner out the front covering the old sign is torn away. No light up sign, drive right past the place. Check in was a nightmare, stood around for 10 minutes calling out for someone to attend the counter,, stood around for a further 15 minutes while the clerk called someone to ask how to check us in. Reception is dingy, holes in the ceiling, empty brochure stands. Sign at front desk advising there is no housekeeping services “for guests safety” rather than the honest reason of it being to their financial benefit. Room card doesn’t worked 9 out of 10 times you try to enter the room. Half broken door to bathroom repaired with some nails which protrude through. No pool, breakfast or business facilities due to “major renovations” .. no signs of any renovations whatsoever going on. Stained sheets, stained and worn out towels (sign at front desk saying I will get charged $35 if this towel goes missing). Lights not working, USB plugs not working. Walls are paper thin, you can hear absolutely everything going on in the other rooms and hallways. I would have been able to deal with all this if it was cheap, but the room rate was increased due to it being an event weekend.

Waited twenty-five minutes for somebody to check me in. In the morning I awoke to find somebody hit my car in the parking lot. Staff told me apparently they had no cameras outside, only inside (despite the large number of vagrants roaming about the property). Wish I would have spent a little more for a better hotel.

The rooms are mediocre at best. The outside of the place is littered with garbage. The manager is absolutely garbage. All ran by rag heads that barley speak English. Took me over an hour and cops getting involved to get my deposit back. Will never stay here again if I could give negative stars I would. They couldn't cut it as a days inn so they was dropped down to econo lodge. If choice is smart they will drop them all together. As a Dimond member of choice I have to say this was the worst I've ever stayed inn. That's saying a lot because I've been in places that had bed bugs.

Needed a cheap stay in the area for a night. Place was under construction, so the lobby was a mess, but the room itself was fine. Not the cleanest I've stayed in, the sheets had small stains for example, but nothing particularly bad. Comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower, good air conditioning, and most importantly, no bedbugs. This place is no-frills, but you get a great bang for your buck. Would stay again

I am really interested with my room. Very big room with sofa and nice atmosphere. Very clean and quite. Bathroom cleanliness is amazing. Beds are new and very comfy. I sleep deeply. Safe and clean. Highly recommend to all. Very nice gentleman at desk. I was staying next door at red roof but I will stay here from now on.

The friendliness and service is excellent here. Very VERY clean and safe environment. The price could not be beaten by the 5 or more hotels surrounding it,and it’s far cleaner and far better than the surrounding hotels as well. I will definitely be coming here again, and you should too.

Awful. Says renovating however after spending 3 days here no one has ever came to work on it. As a result of said renovations, they don't make ice or fill the pop machines.. literally no amenities at all. Waited for room cleaning, garbage pick-up and fresh towels 3 days later... nothing.... the cost for what you get is way out of balance. They need to step the game way up or adjust the price more fitting. Will never stay here again. Much better hotels and amenities for the price.

Hotel is working on refurbishing. Room had been redone already, but bathroom door needed to be replaced or repaired because some kicked a hole in it and possibly punched a hole in a higher area. The room, in general, was nice for sleeping, but the rest of the hotel still needs work. The ice machine was not working and was in kind of a creepy feeling stair well area. Phone in the room was also not working properly, so I had to call the hotel desk from my cell phone. Also, they do not allow late check outs. The area the hotel is located is a good area of Louisville and right by the expressway, so that is not an issue. I pre-booked this room because I got a good price on Priceline and but it was not refundable.

I recently stayed at Econo Lodge in Louisville for one night, and it was quite disappointing. The room had a strong construction smell, and there was loud banging noise throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep. I didn't complain because it was just for one night, but it was frustrating. What bothered me even more was that they didn't mention anything about ongoing construction when I booked the room. Had I known, I would have chosen a different place. When I went to the front desk to ask for some paper plates and a spoon, they surprisingly said they didn't have any. It's hard to believe that a fully functional motel wouldn't carry basic amenities like paper plates and spoons. I strongly advise against wasting your money on this hotel. Look for alternative accommodations. Additionally, I noticed some brown spots on the bedding, although not too big, they were noticeable. On a positive note, the bathroom was clean and neat, which was the only redeeming quality of my stay.

Me and a couple friends stayed at this hotel for a few days and we did not smoke in the room or break anything in the room. They would not give us our deposit back they said we chipped the paint on the wall and broke a dresser drawer. Which we did not the drawer was broken when we got there but we didn't think anything of it. I mean get a cheap hotel room you get cheap quality. All in all if you stay here and anything at all is wrong with your room when you check in with them just let them know and or take pictures of it. The guy that checked the room was also in there for a strangely large amount of time before he ever came back like 20 minutes so I feel as if he was just looking for a reason to not give us the deposit back. Just make sure to notify them of everything wrong with the room so you can get your money back. They also were charging us more for the room than they were charging any of the other guest that we encountered. Also when we called and asked them how much the price of the room would be they would tell us $96 but when we got down there to pay for the room they would charge us $112 which is not a big deal but they would not tell us why they were charging us more than the other guest and more than what they were telling us on the phone. Definitely did not make any sense.

The rooms were surprisingly nice and clean for how cheap it is. The lobby and exterior are under major construction, but the rooms and hallway seemed newly redone. Pet fee was an affordable $20, on top of the nightly fee of $63. No breakfast and only 2 bath towels in the room, but no problems either.

We are staying here for 1 week. We have a second floor room that was super clean when we arrived and they recently updated the bathroom and room. The room is well lit with many usb ports and the tv works. Good price great location, food and shopping across the street. Easy on and off the interstate.

I've had a great experience since staying here at Econo Lodge Louisville East. The rooms here have been recently updated and comfortable by far. The staff has been very helpful. The property is in a perfect location. Great restaurants, shopping and more within walking distance. Thank you very much Econo Lodge!!

As the great average review and the high reviews from biased google map users mislead me into booking this motel, I’m here to write an honest review in details— 1. The location of this place is kind of sketchy, it is near hangout spots for homeless people. 2. There is something spooky about this motel near the lobby. There was an empty room in darkness with chairs and desks not in use. One of the entry was was blocked by dining tables *creepy & cringe at its best*. 3. The room looked nice, but you can’t skip the details. I noticed a huge dent on the bathroom door, crumbs of food on the couch the housekeeper did not clean, poop stain on chair, and they do not have toothbrush. It is interesting they have toothpaste but not toothbrush. 4. It takes forever to get checked in. There was only one person in front of me who probably was there for a while and the Indian clerk took forever like he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Also the high desk with low chair doesn’t feel right to me! Lastly I am going to book a different hotel next time.

For the price and customer service it is always my go to in Louisville. Sam is always a pleasure to work with. Also understand that the Hotel is under construction but all I see that that there is effort on improvement. Overall a great place and have been using the hotel as my go to for travels.

Excellent stay. As most know it’s a roll of the dice booking a hotel sight unseen. Let’s just say I won the bet. Upon arrival the exterior and lobby of the place left me a tad concerned BUT this is only due to the fact that that are going through a rebranding and remodel under new ownership. The man who checked me in was very friendly and personable. Our room was immaculately clean and cozy. The beds were amazingly comfortable new mattresses, cable television worked great with a full lineup of standard channels and the full SHOtime package, the morning shower was HOT and the shower pressure better than home. I will be back. When the remodel is done I would this motel to be a top contender for the Hurstbourne area.
