The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and accommodating, however disappointed no breakfast included in the price. We travel alot and stay at a lot of hotels and in comparison for the price, courtyard by Marriott definitely does not fill our expectations. Sorry, but this will be our last stay at one of your hotels.

I’m a diamond club member and travel for work so I’ve stayed in several hotels across the country and this was the worst. My daughter and I were in town for the weekend for a national xcountry meet. The staff was ok not very helpful when my reservation was not correct and didn’t offer suggestions and just looked at me to figure out. The hallways and rooms were musty. I also found it to be noisy to the outside traffic. My particular rooms had big holes in the sheer curtains. Have hardly seen that before but especially not in a Marriott. Definitely not any way impressed with my stay. I would not recommend if your use to the normal Marriott way.

I stay in many hotels throughout the year as a motorcoach driver and the following are simply my opinion. This hotel is average and could be better. The " grab and go" breakfast offered in the booking for groups sized 20 and over is poor to say the least even to offer cereal but no spoons...I could go on but I won't. Rooms are not equipped with microwaves thus you are forced to use the communal one in the lobby which I feel creates health concerns. The prices of food in the lobby and at bistro are crazy for what is actually offered. The Courtyard Marriot is decent but I would recommend shopping around other destinations before spending your hard earned dollar here. Peace.

First time staying at a Marriott & my overall experience was good and reasonably affordable. I definitely recommend getting the 'breakfast included' option for your room. It will save you money. Complimentary breakfast isn't free but adding it as an option is a small price to pay, for what you get from their bistro. Basically the cost of a large Starbucks drink and here you can get Starbucks and a full breakfast. Food was delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room seemed slightly outdated but not as bad as some other reviews make it out to be but every room is different I'm sure. Fortunately I had no issues with anything in my room. I like that my room had a desk and office chair for me to work, being that I was here on a work trip. My room also had a mini fridge but no microwave but luckily I wouldn't have needed a microwave on this trip. The gym is small but has what you need and is clean and working ac. There's a laundry room, which I didn't need to use. My only complaint is the pool rules state that no person can swim alone, with no lifeguard on duty. If caught, you get a fee. So no swimming for me. Location is really convenient and walking distance to a grocery store, several restaurants, and more.

Old. Way to much wear and tear to be considered 3 star. Over priced is an understatement. And the people living in the bushes outside are over the top, we were woken up the first night there by fire and ambulance trucks driving around looking for the guy that was obviously out of mind on something at 3 in the morning with those two playing hide and seek, such a waste of resources. And the fact that hotel staff carries them food and drinks is ridiculous. And the road noise is almost unbearable. Never again will we stay in a Marriott branded hotel. And will probably never stay in Louisville again. We stayed 2 of the three nights planned, but there was no way they we’re getting another night from us for that price.

The staff here was so kind and accommodating. They don’t normally provide room service, but they kindly delivered water to my room when I requested it. 10/10 would stay here again.

The rooms were very clean. The check in was great and they helped us out with some local restaurants! Would defiantly recommend anyone to stay here! They also had a Starbucks in the lobby just basic coffee!

Courtyard's are one of my favorite hotels. Rooms are well kept and staff are very friendly and helpful. And the bistro is nice on the mornings and evenings.

While I like staying at a Marriott, when I'm in Louisville, Ky., I'll continue to stay at the Marriott East or the Residence Inn East. They are more of what I'm use to.

Gross carpet, strange gunk near door. Bathroom toilet right against the wall. Shower water even smelled bad. I’m a silver Marriott member, and this is the worst courtyard I’ve stayed in.

Good place. Came in late since I lost power and they got me sorted out. Was even able to do coin laundry

Small room. Great location. I would advise getting the 'breakfast included' option. It will save you money.

Lady at desk was awsome and that's where it ends. Rooms are outdated. And are you serious with no free breakfast. Hate Marriott. Most over priced hotel for the worst amenities of any chain hotel. Not even a microwave in room. That way they can charge for any food item you want hot at their "bistro". Free everywhere else though

Walk into the hotel, the woman at checking isn't even sure if there's a room available for us. Get to the room, the toilet is running and has been for who knows how long. Open the shades, the window out is FILTHY!!! No microwave, and the one that's supposed to be on that floor had been stolen. No free breakfast regardless of Marriott status. Parking was slim pickings. For what I paid for that room, my experience was AWFUL.

I don't usually write reviews but this is ridiculous! I'm extremely exhausted, been up for work since 3am and I've been moved twice now. My first room, the toilet was messed up and the second room had bugs!! The receptionist was nice and accommodating. However I didn't pay almost $700 to sleep with bugs. I could have stayed at the Days Inn for that. Do better Marriott!! I stay at Marriott resorts and hotels regularly. This is a HUGE disappointment!!

This was my first stay at a Courtyard Hotel - I stayed here on a week long business trip and this place was really home away from home. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the pool was clean and large, every employee I encountered was extremely polite and helpful, especially the Sr. Engineer (Im not sure what his name was I just remember the title on his name tag) this man ran the entire show thursday morning 7/28/22 from completing food orders to checking guests in, He really cares about the guest experience! I will suggest Courtyard to my colleagues for future travel. Good job yall!

We had a very pleasant two-night stay. Convenient location, friendly people, clean rooms, very responsive service, and a great black cherry old fashioned. We will return when visiting Louisville.

I booked this hotel online 2 weeks before my trip and got a great price. The online checkin was so cool and easy, just click check in and you're in then you can use your phone for your room key to get into your room and the whole building as well as the gym and pool. The room was ready at 3 pm when I checked in and so clean. The beds we're some of the most comfortable I've slept in and great room layout. You can request towels and extra pillowd through the app as well and room cleaning. Checking out was a breeze too. Just click checkout and then leave. Only talked to staff once the whole trip and she was very friendly. They even put a goodbye thank youesage on the tv with my name which was cool. Mariott Bon Voy you have my buisness! Thanks for a great trip.

In town for baseball tournament. Bed mattress was worn due to being able to feel some bed springs. The couch pull out bed mattress was extremely thin. Heard complaints from many other pre-teen boys beside my own child. Courtyard area was nice. Good centralized location to shopping, restaurants and gas stations.

Very clean, welcoming, family friendly, easy access. Had trouble with room keys but problem was fixed immediately. Loved having our private balcony. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

I’m a Marriott Elite Member and I have to say that this by far has been the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m not one to complain much, as no hotel is perfect and normal wear and tear is to be expected but this hotel was beyond that. We arrived around 7:00 PM and it appeared as if the hotel was closed, didn’t have any lights on and the front section had very few cars. Upon entering we were greeted with a typical Marriott lobby that had been updated some. We pulled around to the back of the hotel closer to our room and upon entering the hotel the hallway was rundown and temperature was very warm. We made it to our room and it was also warm, musky smelling and just uncomfortable. We attempted to turn the thermostat down but the air conditioner was not turning on. So I went down and the individual at the front desk was very helpful and had a maintenance man come to our room to look at the unit. The individual came within a few minutes and was able to get it going. (It had been unplugged). The temperature in the room got better but it never really cooled down to our liking. Next problem… the carpet in our room was absolutely disgusting. I do not know what was on it nor do I probably want to but it caused our feet to stick to the bathroom tile and was just dirty. There were marks all over it and when I was on my knees rearranging the cooler we packed my knees also had stuck to the floor. Bathroom.. almost clean… there were stains on the base of the toilet which were not from us.. again I can only imagine what it was. A few of the lights in our room had burnt out bulbs and our refrigerator wasn’t working. I have always had very positive experiences with Marriott Hotels, however this one was far from the 190.00 a night x 2 we paid (we had two rooms) It is in desperate need of remodeling and updating.. and some deep cleaning..
