The service was rude. Room was dingy. Decor is from 1970s era with layers of dust. Couldn't put anything on the shelf hand from the shelf for fear it would fall down, bathroom outlet was dirty, screwed needed attention, the towels were mismatched and had a yellowish tint and stains. I would avoid this property. Called and he quoted the room $50...final total $60...taxed for tacky

It's advertised as eco-friendly. I'm not exactly a tree hugger, but I figured that must be good! Let's try the eco-friendly and save the planet. It's eco-friendly because the AC doesn't work at all. But I figured I could just open the window. But there's no window. There is a sliding door that goes out onto a balcony above the hot humid pool. And there's no security in the building because there's no card reader to let you in you have to prop the door open with a rock. Definitely not worth the money if you are looking sleep there. Unless you like sleeping with it really hot in the room. But I guess not everybody does The room was really hot because the AC doesn't work.

I would give this place NO STARS if that was an option!! My Daughter & her college track team stayed here while in Kansas for nationals. All of their rooms had bed bugs. They arrived very late at night so they ended up sleeping on the poolside chairs with their bags on the chairs with them. Another Team staying there came down to talk to her Team & upon looking in their rooms, they also had bed bugs. They were on the walls & beds. Needless to say; they got a different hotel for the next 4 nights they were in town. This hotel did NOT have air conditioning in the rooms either. The manager went to Wal-Mart & bought fans for their rooms…before they found the bed bugs. Although the fan was not going to be cool enough for their rooms; had they stayed there & IF there were no bed bugs. Rooms weren’t cleaned thoroughly either. They found someone’s cell phone ON their bed under the comforter. Do NOT stay at this place!! Disgusting!!

The woman who worked there told me one price and then the guy told me another and then they charged me extra. Plus the first room air conditioner made it sound didn't work, so the second room was right above the office and the air conditioner didn't work there either and it was so hot I had to leave early plus I was there with my pregnant wife and they refuse to give us a different room that would be cooler, refuse those towels and toilet paper, it was so bad we had to leave early by a whole day and I confronted him respectfully he just blew me off and was totally unprofessional,rude,and in caring of me and my pregnant wife. Plus both rooms were real dirty and nasty nothing barely worked! I would not even refer animal to go to this hotel that's how bad it was!

Refused to rent a room to me, do to a blanket was left on the floor prior to check out. He stated the room was trashed because of the blanket being on the floor. I was also told I can't go and go as I please. The rooms are clean and nice. But overall staff needs alot of help.

I have been working in Hutchinson ks and staying at the Hutchinson inn for about two weeks and I find it a quiet and friendly place to stay

Very low maintenance there were holes in the blankets and the pillows were flat

It was horrible. Gave me a key to a already checked room , walked in on couple sleeping, that should never happen, major safety concern, what if that person had a gun and shot my son or me. What if I was a crazy person and went in and did something to them.. that was a disaster. Then the room we ended up with was broken shower, broken chair, dirty.. Never again!!!!!!!!

Woke up in the middle of the night with bug bites. Seached the bed and found a bed bug. My husband and I left right away without a refund.

I usually don't leave bad reviews because I don't have bad experiences from places except this one. I checked in and saw the hotel and deliberated with my husband to get a new room somewhere. It smelled horrible, towels seemed dirty (had rust-like stains), bathroom didn't look like it was cleaned, and the place doesn't seem like a suitable place to sleep due to other customers being suspicious. Went back to the front desk and asked to get a refund due to the room not being up to standards but our 20 min deliberation was "too long" to get refund. She declined our refund and we left frustrated as we were traveling. Save yourself and pick anywhere but here.

The owners are very nice. Rooms was nice, clean. I believe it's under New Onwer ship. I stayed there almost a week. The main complaint i have is the the was no freezer, i have to have ice packs for my arm and shoulder that need surgery in Oct and i couldn't freeze them, which inturn didnt help my pain. The washer didn't work I don't know if the dryer did or not, the ice machine didn't always work.

Not as bad as the current rating shows. It is an average motel, perfectly fine for 1-2 nights, especially for this low price. Big advantage is that it is just 2 blocks away from downtown, but be prepared for the numerous freight trains passing through Hutchinson in the night: loud train horn all night long.

Do not! There was mold all along the wall, bathroom towels were stained, chairs were ripped up, paint peeled off the walls, ac didn’t get cold. We looked at 2 rooms and they both had mold!!

Room Smelled like smoke, didn’t bother me, charged 62$ for one night two days later $310 charge for “smoking in the room” says he has pictures of proof… BAD BUSINESS!

Clean room and mostly quiet. Some noise from staircase restoration and the train. Microwave, mini fridge, cable television and wifi. Good service! Thanks again!
