Cool place to go and have fun. I go every year to the Kansas state fair and ride the rides, and eat food. I go here some time to walk also. I used to have an electric scooter and I would ride my scooter.

Today was hands down the best fair experience we've had yet! Lots of neat products, produce and art pieces to view. No high pressure sales tactics and fun rides for the kids. We went for the free dillons day and only spent $20 total for just ride tickets and had 6 hours of fun with the entirety of our local family. Highly recommended! We got free ice cold water from the Christian motorcyclists association and there was a nice Mennonite man with a tractor that gave us ride back to our vehicle after we were weary from walking all day for no charge ❤

What an awesome day of concerts! They had challenge of the bands today for an opportunity to play at the first day of the Kansas State Fair. I'm glad I'm not a judge, as they all were great. Come to the fair and meet the best of the best from Kansas.

This was my first state fair, ever! The fairgrounds are so huge and there are lots of different foods, activities and rides. I really enjoyed all of it and am looking forward to next year.

Went to the Smallville Con. Put together very well. Unfortunately the facility had air conditioning problems but the Con did the best to keep people busy and well distracted. It's amazing to see a con bring so much difference and culture to this small city.

A lot of good things to see. It rained all day Monday, just stayed in the motel most of the day. Got there about 8:30 Tuesday. Walked around the area for about four hours before things started to happen. I brought package tickets, the train never left the station. But a lot to see. So wasn't disappointed.

Love the fair grounds especially when Smallville Comic Con is going. You get to walk around and laugh and see so many awesome cosplay and artists. You get to meet celebrities and just have tons of.

Went to the Kansas State Fair yesterday! It was a great day and great crowd. The vendors are down and you can see that as you are walking around. The food prices are normal for a special event. Ice cream waffle cone was $8.00. Meat pizza was $6.00. But it is the size of two slices. Cheapest drink was Root Beer in two sizes. Small was $2.00 and large was $4.00. Other drinks as high as $7.00 or $8.00 if you want a special cup. Refills only $3.00. Carnival all you can ride until 10pm is $35.00. Best route if you enjoy riding over and over again.

My husband and I were blessed to be able to attend the 2022 Kansas State Fair. We are 81 years old and appreciated the handicapped parking area! Then we also appreciated the low cost of admission! We were too late to get an electric scooter, but were able to walk to the areas of the animals, which was our main interest! The trams were very nice too tho the political ads every 5 minutes was very irritating! The restrooms were great and clean!!! Woe! We were nicely impressed!!! Thank you so much!!!

Had a great time watch Extreme Dwarf Wrestling at the fairgrounds. The venue was clean and had a lot of space. No concessions available but they allowed others to beings their drinks in. Would definitely recommend

Going on Tues reduced the crowds quite a bit & so it wasn't as crowded as a weekend, that was nice. The train ride should be limited to kids. The roof was nearly on our heads, our legs were up to our chins (almost). The overhead ski lift ride was great if you came in Gate9. Saved us a long walk to leave. That was nice. All the buildings seemed to have fewer vendors this year. My favorite vendors were there. We enjoyed the day very much. Next time, I'm renting a scooter no matter how long the lines are. We enjoyed it & glad we went. Hope you go & enjoy it too!

Wasn't bad. I did mostly show up for the Midway because I had a photoshoot with some clients. (Also, if anyone's looking for a photographer. HMU on Instagram @clickncapturestudios) But it typically wasn't bad. The prices are crazy, as always, so I didn't spend much and the ticket prices are also insane. I had gone on Monday (Dollar Day) so it was cheaper, but still if I wanted a ride I would have had to wait ages. Overall a solid 4.6/10 for night. Just because I'm not a big fan of manufactured fun. [I'd rather go hiking on a Colorado mountainside than stand in the middle of 100 screaming people, but that's just my opinion]. The Daytime stuff isn't bad, good selection of 4H related work, the animal barns are always interesting and the different performers are always fun to watch. I'd say 6.8/10 for daytime activities. I'd suggest going just for the vibes. But watch the prices, they'll get you and empty your wallet faster than your girlfriend. (which is mostly likely why you'll lose your money at the fair anyways)

The fairgrounds are nice and clean they have lots of options for fun. The emergency preparedness day is a good time. Lots of fire departments and police officers to see and talk to, great PR event. We go for the KSARDA team. The dogs are great.

Fun times at the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson. Lot of Brown Swiss dairy cows, rabbits, pigions, chickens. Big quilting display. Kansas Honey Association has big booth with products, bee keepers to answer questions and free literature. Free parking on the North side - enter via Gate 5.

I use to attend the Kansas State Fair every year. I always enjoyed myself and had fun. All the different foods too chose from. Oh, why lie? I ate it all. The exhibits are wonderful. All the animals are great. Awesome concerts. So many different rides to scare you know what out of you, nope not me! Way to much to mention. I strongly recommend attending the Kansas State Fair. It's a blast. Be prepared to spend the entire day if not a couple of days there. Have fun. May God bless you always!
