Unless you already have an activity planned here, save 50 NTD (1.7 usd, as of 2020 May) per person and avoid this place. It's basically a storage for cheap looking props that look like someone's college homework, haphazardly placed without any clear theme or meaning. Building itself is nice.

A place for children, perhaps. Admission of 50 NTD per person for maintaining the place. Not much to see actually!

Worth a visit for sure. It features a well-preserved Japanese residence, with a lot of Taiwanese history, a great little coffee/gift shop, and a lot of places to linger and enjoy, as well as events--also some nice organic farmers markets on the weekend.
