We thought the branding is quite tasteful and resonates with us. We found the butter selection to be lacking small denominations. Half of the store is comprised of biscuits; love that. Happy to find some classic Skyr yogurt.

My recent experience at Bonus Store in Iceland left me with mixed feelings. The store's emphasis on budget-friendly options was evident, with a variety of products at competitive prices. The aisles were well-organized, making it easy to locate items, and the store's layout facilitated a straightforward shopping experience. One notable aspect was the extensive selection of Icelandic and international products, providing a diverse range of options for shoppers. The frozen food section, in particular, offered a wide array of choices, catering to various tastes and preferences. However, the overall atmosphere of the store felt utilitarian, lacking the aesthetic appeal and ambiance found in some other grocery chains. While the emphasis on cost-effectiveness is appreciated, the trade-off seemed to be a less polished shopping environment. The checkout process was efficient, and the staff was generally friendly and helpful. The store's cleanliness was maintained, contributing to a hygienic shopping environment. In conclusion, Bonus Store in Iceland is a viable option for those seeking affordability and variety. While the shopping experience may lack some of the frills found in upscale supermarkets, it fulfills its purpose as a budget-conscious choice for everyday necessities.

So much in this supermarket, perfect for tourists stocking up on food. There are a couple shops round the corner, which are also very nice.

Good prices and clean, well stocked grocery store. Be prepared to get cold when you walk into the dairy and produce section. It is actually a walk in cooler and everything is kept very cold, including customers! Self check out worked fine for us.

Bonus was fantastic! Good variety and a more affordable option to eating out every day as food in Iceland is expensive. The cookies and chocolate bars were a great treat, especially the coffee chocolate bar. We also bought meat, salads and breakfast items and cooked at our rented apartment a few times. Take your own recyclable bags or purchase there. They require use of masks as of now. Nice, helpful staff. The one by us opened at 11am and closed around 7pm. All good!

Bónus is advertised as the cheapest store in Iceland; and I found this store to be quite cheap, considering it is in Iceland. It has good selection of everything you would need. High quality store.
