This location is all over the place. They also have some of the smallest pieces of chicken around. Sometimes the chicken has that old Popeyes flavor, and other times is lacking taste. They always overcook the breasts. The wings are so tiny they look like a Quail, lol.

I can promise you that this is the slowest Popeyes you will ever go to. Everytime I go this place is sooooooo slow. They take one order at a time and don’t take the next order until that person gets their food. It would make more sense to take an order, then take the other orders while people wait for their food, JUST LIKE ANY OTHER FAST FOOD RESTAURANT EVER. But nope, they do things the slow way 👎🏾.

I was just there today 20mins ago and when I came in one of the employees sitting in the front on the phone talking loud and getting off some kinda nasty on her phone. There’s a long line of people there were only two at the counter serving and taking orders. No smiles 🙄😐😶. I asked for the nine piece for $20 and chicken tenders with small side. Now I already waited along time to get to the counter now I got wait even longer cause the chicken was not and will not be ready for three mins. I saw my food sit there open waiting for the chicken to be ready. The young lady asked do I want dipping sauce I said yes. But what I noticed was a meal that should have cost me no more than $30 dollars cost me $40 and the bowls for the large side whe in small bowls and the one large bowl was haft filled. The young lady charged me for a 12 piece instead of what I ordered and there was no spoons, no dipping sauces,no jelly, just napkins. The cook was slamming the chicken down in bins. The young lady took two orders and never came back to me with my food until she was done with the two people behind me. I have been coming to this place for years and I have watched it go down the drain. The staff keeps changing and my food is always jacked. Last time I was there the manager was taking my order and the whole was wrong. I had returned three times just to get the Manager to do it right my sweet tea had no sugar in it and my food was someone else’s food. The manager is a older woman who cannot keep up and the young staff needs to be either changed or trained otherwise I will not be coming to this location ever again it’s nothing like the one on Georgia ave in dc.

The absolute worst service ever. Always a long wait for food and staffer, Ivis, is horrible. He yells and tries to pick fights. Management sees him yelling and does nothing to stop him. Won't even apologize for his behavior.

This is the worst Popeyes in the DMV area collectively. They prepare the chicken as you order so there is usually a 15 minute wait period. The drumsticks are small as hell and look like chicken wing drums(see picture).The lemonade is really water aide and they are usually out of medium lids so you’re reduced to take only a small or large drink. The biscuits are also stale as hell. The Spanish workers there are usually sneezing all over the chicken and don’t wear plastic gloves when retrieving it and they all have bad attitudes when you want a refund or ask for better quality of food. Just the worst place in general. I wouldn’t wish this place in my worse enemy. ZERO START REALLY.

Ordered a 10 piece chicken only, but just nice in the box that was found back home. Called to complaint, one employee said sorry and said let me go back and give me a free ten piece chicken. I went back on the second day, another employee said she might only give me two prices and she thought the first employee made wrong decision and she completely disagreed with her. What a waste time by believing they are well managed organization. You should count it if you order more than ten pieces!

The worst chicken ever, I purchased the chicken tender combo thought i would get fries with it i guess not 2. It was sooooo could i couldn't eat one piece ,it taste like something that put down for long period of time not on a wormer 3. The lady that was cashing was rhe same lady servingand yes she had glubs on that she cash,and serve six person before me along with pickups that didnot change I've been to that location(west hyattsville )before tonight is my worst experience ever at a Popeye. I would never,ever go to that location again.

Mariama is a very helpful person, she prepared my lunch quick and was very friendly! She is the Best in this place! Thank You Mariama for your Kind and your excellent job!

The Popeyes restaurant was the first store I was able to purchase a sandwich. The service was fast even thought the line was long. Amazing crew during lunch....

I got 4 pieces of chicken (spicy) and they were all undercooked! Very disappointing.
