A truly fun dive bar featuring a huge list of beers and plenty of great snacks. Would highly recommend to anyone trying to reserve a space for an event or just hang out with friends.

The bartender with black curly hair was super cool. Good energy. She served drinks quickly and was so polite to two women next to me who kept borderline harassing her about astrology. I wanted to tell them to shut up because everyone else was having a good time. This is my NEW dive bar. Fast, friendly and fricking cool.

The local watering hole. Basic assortment of beers and liquor. There’s a stove behind the bar so you can get some grub here as well; burger and fries or something. Upstairs is interesting. There’s a shell of a school bus modified to be a social space. Decent place to bring friends or drink a lonely beer. Pass on the wine selection, that’s not what bars are for, ladies.

It's was my first time in late September. Make online reservation or walk in. We had to give contact tracing info (email and phone number) for Covid-19. They serve bar food. I think people go there for the bar atmosphere to watch games etc, at least that's what my friend said, but now things seem dead.

Cool place! If you're into unique smaller spots with greasy food and canned craft beers, look no further! Upstairs has a roofed outdoor area and a school bus bar. I have the BEST buffalo chicken cheese sub and the half smoke was one of the best I've ever had. The bartender was a cool guy to talk to. Atmosphere was light and really casual. Edit 4/22: The outdoor area is my favorite spot. Nice cool breeze in the spring/summer. They close it off a bit in winter. Heat lamps available.

Wonderful neighborhood bar. At my visit in late March 22 only 3 Beer on tap (Goose Island IPA , Yuengling Lager and Bud light). The School Bus like Bar, upstairs, offers a lot more Beer (in Cans). Friendly Bartender. Tasty Food. All in a fair price range.

The epitome of a dive bar... And that's a good thing! Super friendly bartenders, chill crowd, and solid burgers and cheese steaks cooked on a flattop grill (plus some great chili!).

Great bar but DO NOT PAY IN CASH or they think it's all tip. I put a CC down to start a tab and was going to pay in cash. I told the bartender I was tabbing out in cash, he ate it all and I thought that was my bill when really it was only $18.. So I got charged $18 on my CC and he took my $50 payment as a tip 💀 I was never given a receipt cuz I said I was paying in cash

Trusty's is a neighborhood gem. The food is bar food, but solid and there are lots of options. The drink options are good. The vibe is wonderful always. Tuesday trivia is always a fun time! Plus dogs are welcome. What isn't to love??

The best bar in DC hands down!! Really love having a great neighborhood spot. Trusty’s fills the void of a lack of friendly, great dive bars on the hill. cant recommend enough!

The blond bartender who looks like had a black eye completely ignored the fact she that I ordered a drink at the bar. She looked tired and needs sleep. I got my food and was to leave when I reminded her that my drink was still missing. The bar was not crowded at 623p on a rainy Saturday. Nl

Dive bar but fun. Surprisingly good food and excellent service. Update: still excellent and extremely friendly staff. Patrons occasionally are allowed to bring dogs inside the first floor.

Great neighborhood bar. The food is good, well served, and well priced. Tons of tv to watch whatever game is happening, and the atmosphere is friendly.

Barney Circle's best dive. Great drink prices and really excellent bar food if you're in the mood for something to eat. They have a school bus on the second floor! Can be a little crowded at times as it is a dive, but worth checking out if you are in southeast.

The lady with black curly hair was super rude ! I asked her if she was going to put salt on my rim instead of sugar and she was so obnoxious she blurted out “WHY WOULD I PUT F.KING SALT INSTEAD OF SUGAR”. Super uncalled for and hideous behavior. She was our bartender so I tried to be interactive and ask her zodiac sign she was just very rude made us guess then told us her sign after that we stopped communicating with her. She cursed us out basically and we went on with it and she still was just mean and energy was super bad this was Wednesday night at 10:30pm. The lady had black curly hair.

Unfortunately the security thinks he owns the place. The owner is my neighbor and all I asked for was a steak and cheese. I have more to say but plain and simple great place unless the guy at the door on the weekend doesn’t get in his feelings. I have never been asked for a ID in order to get a steak and cheese. Yea he asked for a hard copy and I went and got it. Then he wanted me out but whatever… overall food is great. Just know when to pick that stupid battle…
