Service is nice. But furniture in rooms is kinda tired, so to speak. The bathroom was not very nice either. Lots of damages. I wouldn't even say that it's a 5-star hotel. Food in the restaurant is good. On buffet, or breakfast, food was good, not bad variety. But not must 'tourist-friendly' options.

We stayed here for a day as we had work at US consulate. Property location is very close to the metro station and US consulate. Staff was extremely courteous. They have two restaurants one is open for all meals and the other one is by the pool which is open in the evening. There is in room dining and I particularly liked the NY cheese cake. The check out time is 12 noon but we requested extension to finish lunch, they were very accommodating. I loved my stay and here and would recommend it.

I'm on tour in Hyderabad and staying in this hotel. Great hospitality. You get a feeling that you are cared for by the hotel staff during your stay. They asked and I chose a smoking room. Room is well appointed and regularly replenished with supplies. I found the hotel staff to be polite and courteous. They respond well to your queries. Laundry services is good and hassle free. Food is offered in a really wide variety of dishes, all well prepared. Gym and swimming pool is available. Would like to come back again with family. It is suggested to place a iron inside the room which can be utilised to iron clothes especially when in a hurry. The corridor floor carpet could look better with some cleaning or may be replacement.

Used a free 1-night stay voucher. Room was comfortable. While it was a non-smoking floor, my over-sensitive nose imagined some stale cigarette smoke in the vicinity. It wasn't too bothersome. The Asian restaurant was fantastic for dinner. Would recommend the hotel to others!

We went there for new year's buffet brunch. Though the food spread was elaborate, the choice of dishes was not good at all. Not only was the options available not good, they lacked in taste as well. The starters were also disappointing. When we go for a buffet, we generally feel hungry looking at the food as they usually look appetizing, but surprisingly none of the dishes looked appetizing here. For example, one of the dishes was so overcooked that we struggled to find meat pieces in it. This is not our first time dining at Vivanta but we have never felt so disappointed like today. Hence, writing the review.

The rooms had the toilet flushing pipe is issue and not reaching up to WC at room no 514. Also after this room I had asked to change the othe room for 305 bathroom drain was choked and wash water was clogging inside bath room. For such a 5 star hotel these are the problems which we face any normal ordinary hotels stay. Strongly not recommended to stay here as compared to daily teriff for the room is 6500/- per Day.

Wonderful stay with my family. Staff was really very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was very clean, and my son liked going there. You can reach any corner of the city by taxi from here. Breakfast was very good with all the available options. Highly recommendable.

Service made our stay worthwhile but rooms could be a lot better for the price. Pros: Very responsive front desk. Great House keeping staff. Prompt room service. Very helpful security and doormen. Top notch breakfast with endless options both continental and Indian with dosas and omelettes served to order at the table. Cons: I expected better rooms. Not worthy of a 5* hotel. Mat in the shower had some visible mould. Carpeted area in the passage looked dingy. Food ordered from room service was just alright.

Worth the experience for couple, the economical among its peers like Taj Krishna and other similar hotels. Assistance is excellent. Food is good variety, especially the European cuisines. Pool there but was cold water, so had to shrill for a while. Would love to go once more!

Decent stay and good spread in the breakfast. Only problem is with washrooms. Washrooms are not designed good and the water comes out of the bathroom and come into the room. We also noticed at the time of checkout that there was no proper cleaning done behind the beds .we found the used masks behind the bed. No warm water to the pool. O2 SPA services are really amazing.

I was invited to Vivanta for a book launch. What little i saw was nice. The high tea was good. The staff seemed courteous. The hall where the book was launched was nice with good lighting, and the air-conditioning was definitely working .

I stayed for 3 days. Place is at a great location. Service was good. Breakfast was complimentary and good. I requested a cot which was provided and good. The bed was normal and not extra large as mentioned. The hotel is very compact not much of a open space. Overall good but pricey.

Food excellent. Ambience amazing. Room service super. Once we book a room, we are allowed to swim, but make sure you go with nylon or polyester swim suits, otherwise they may deny you from swimming. Breakfast buffet is excellent, enjoy juices, dry fruits, cut fruits, sweets along with other items.

One of the best hotel of Tata Group in Hyderabad. We have stayed here for one night the breakfast was amazing and the room experience was also amazing the behaviour of the hotel staff was really good. Food prices are bit high but if you compare with the five star hotel then it is okay and the foods quality you are getting its worth it.

Stayed here for a night with family. The premium room we got was very spacious and comfortable for 3 people. The breakfast spread was lavish and everything was tasty, especially their pastry. The hotel has a huge underground parking lot and rest assured your car would be safe and sound. The staff were polite and even went out of their way to courier a dress to us that we had forgotten while checking out. Highly recommended

I want share my experience with this wonderful hotel. This place has been the gateway for me to get a US RN License. The food is great. The staffs are very hospitable. But the best thing about this hotel they are very empathetic to their clients. I should commend Ms Shiny(receptionist), I arrived late in Hyderabad. The hotel I initially booked wont accept me anymore, so I have to find another hotel. Ms Shiny has provided me all the things that I need. Since I was new here, I dont have a phone number, she provided her own mobile. She provided me the WiFi ASAP. She provided me water to drink as soon as I step in the hotel since she saw me very exhausted after an hour of searching for a place to stay, some pastries to suffice my hunger. I have stayed in this place for 4 days but it felt like a real home. I dearly recommend this place for all the Foreign Test Takers out there like me.

Stayed here when I came to Hyderabad for my visa appointment at the US Consulate. As it's well known, the visa appointment can be a very stressful process, particularly during the pandemic. The decision to stay here was a great idea and eased my stress considerably. Each and every person on the staff is warm, courteous, and eager to help. They all made me really feel at home, and I got a room with a beautiful panoramic view of Hyderabad. A big thanks to all the staff and I'll definitely want to stay here again, sooner than later! The hotel has an old world charm to it. Fantastic location and an efficient Front Desk makes check in and check out easy & hassle free. The bar is a pretty laid back kinda place but has an energetic & extremely friendly bar tender.

Visited Taj Vivanta few months ago. Had gone there for breakfast with family. There were ample of options in the buffet spread. Had juices, shakes etc. Live counters as well. We ordered Puri Bhaji which was sumptuous. Service was prompt and efficient. Good place to visit with family. Definitely not a waste of time. # We were not staying in the hotel. Just went for breakfast.

I was traveling Hyderabad and i needed a place to eat when i found this place. food and services were out of this world. Staff was amazingly kind. The Mojito was the best I have ever had. I could write a thousand words if i was professional author but my experience was beyond words.

I had been here recently to visit my guest staying in the hotel, went to the viva restaurant and had the buffet dinner. I liked all dishes and not to forget the tipsy pudding was so delicious. The staff were so courteous and their hospitality is so professional. Overall it was a great experience.

If you’ve been to other Taj properties this property will have you wondering if you are really at Taj. Not at all Taj standards. Right when you enter, there’s a broken light behind the reception. In the room, there was a huge hole in the arm chair. The bathtub was dirty and we had to call to get it cleaned. Bathroom linen - all faded and pale white. The ac did not work all night :’) we had to call an engineer in the middle of the night. Oh and the breakfast buffet, we found a piece of plastic in the food, the muffins tasted stale and cheap, the Danish pastry was not at all flaky, potatoes were uncooked, dal vada was super dry. When we spoke to the executive chef, he was not at all receptive about the feedback. The housekeeping manager was quite warm and receptive of the feedback but that does not make up for our money down the drain, does it. We ended up wondering if Vivanta no longer was by taj. The rest of the property also does not make you feel like you are at Taj. Oh a yes, the smoking area is near the swimming pool but later in the night till almost 12 pm next day, they move the bin and lock it! As a result, the area around the swimming pool was littered with cigarette butts. That’s about it. Nothing extravagant or worth the money.

Excellent hotel and good facilities in the room. In spite of 5star property, Room rates were cheaper but the food prices were luxurious. Superb staff behavior and courteous too. Food taste was really nice as well.

Not as expected, the room too compact, I stayed with a much lower rate at Bangalore Vivanta where the rooms were so big, they provided me with a deluxe suite. It could be better.

Excellent service, food, facilities. Was def slightly disappointed about not receiving a call back. I had misplaced my phone charger in one of the banquet halls. Called and requested for a search. Visited and requested for a search. Honestly not worried about the charger . .. But disappointed that i did not receive even one call to update me.

The place is well kept but deserted for a Sunday night. We went to the viva restaurant inside, there were about 10people at their busiest time. Nothing exceptional about the food, passable. The wow factor is missing and the place is certainly dull, there is a vibe that is missing. Not sure how that can be fixed, maybe by organising a food festival, running discounts or serving some exceptional food. This place needs more energy!

Only one slight issue is that during breakfast rush hour, service levels at the restaurant drop and you need to really follow up to get your live counter orders delivered. Simply Excellent. The staffs behavior is really awesome and great service. You can find various options for your morning breakfast. The pool is free to use with time restrictions. However the water and pool is well maintained. I ordered briyani from outside and asked for reheating. The in-house service took the parcel and served back with pot. I never experienced it from other hotels. Great. Overall great experience. Myself, my wife and kids were thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

I had gone to Taj Vivanta to have lunch. The lunch was not upto the mark as a 5 star. I was not pleased and asked for a feedback form which used to be a norm when you go to have food at these places, they didn't have it. I went to the reception to ask for it, they didn't have it. I couldn't figure out from the website to provide a feedback. Had been an avid fan of the Taj group and definately can understand the Covid impact but didn't expect the level of food when the amount charged is way over a normal restuarant. Didn't expect this out of a Taj group of hotels. Definately not going back and not referring it anyone

The stay has been amazing! Great service. Yogesh at front desk helped me with the check in and was very patient in answering all of my questions. The breakfast is very tasty, the staff of the restaurant is very hospitable. Bivek was the in charge for one of the days of my stay. The service of him and his staff I very appreciative. The pool and bar is on the second floor. The service of the bar is great. They have a nice collection of wine and also the cocktails is a must try. The service of the staff at the bar was great. The finger food at the bar is very tasty. There is also spa service in the same floor. The ambiance of the spa rooms is very clean and neat for which there is an extra charge. There is a 24X7 free gym service, which has all the required equipments for a person who works out on a regular basis.

The Staff At Reception were ill-informed regarding the policy, the Carpet on Lobby and Corridor were stained and seamed pretty old. The Curtain in the rooms were Also stained. However the breakfast was good and Restaurant staff were polite and we're cordial and very attentive to our needs. The location is well connected , with Blue Line Metro passing by and Good View of Hyderabad Public School and Old Begumpet Airport

Based in a very nice location, right on the main road. Easily accessible from the neatest metro station on foot...a lot of options to shop and eat in walking distance. Hospitality is very nice, clean rooms, good food. 100% recommended

Had lunch with family and friends. It was a buffet. The stewards didn't tell us about the salads when we went to pick up food. We saw those dishes only when we went to help ourselves with desserts and Sweets. They should have guided us better.

I had their dinner buffet and I must say it was very overpriced. The desserts and salad menu was quite good, but the rest was unimpressive, to say the least. Also, the ambience could certainly be much better for the price point. I would give them above 4 for their staff's service and a mere 3 for the food and spread.

Great place and the hotel staff are excellent. I had an issue with my luggage being delayed from the flight and wanted to workout in the gym. The trainer took time to understand my scenario and although I wasnt allowed to use the machines, he allowed me to use weights temporarily. Very flexible and great service
