Ulavacharu is one place that needs to be on your visit list if you like Telugu food 😋. Their consistency and simplicity is what makes it special. Have visited this place multiple times and every single time they amaze me with their consistency in their taste. I feel they are short staffed for the crwod that pour in for them. I love their pachi mirchi kodi Kebab, vistraaku pulao, bangla kodi to name a few. They put in their best on every dish to make your visit memorable. Do try it, if you haven't.

Great place if you would like to relish Telugu Cuisine. Every time i go here the taste never changes, and its finger licking good. Great variety of veg and non veg dishes, should try pulav and biryani s they are special.

A warm and friendly welcome with fantastic customer service. Always great, tasty food served hot just the way we like it. Was dissapointed when their signature dish like raju garu kodi pulav and bamboo chicken was not available on the day we visited. Would definitely recommend this place. Good place to have authentic Andhra Telangana delicacies. Decent ambience with curiosities courteous staff. Some serving members seemed to be new and had to be requested repeatedly. Food was slightly salty otherwise taste was good. Buttermilk was a disappointment and expected it to be much better. Parking is a concern

Pricey . But taste was good . Service time could be improved. No complaints with food. The area is quiet and the ambience is very nice

I have ordered apricot delight on swiggy and they send me this with out juice and it was expired smelly and taken 499 rs from me money waste time waste my mood was totally off by ulavacharu and it was in jubilee hills area

I am still surprised by the hype given to the place. Not that the food isn’t great or something but I feel for the ratings and the reviews I have seen, it is overhyped. Reason-For a pricey place this restaurant is badly furnished, bad lighting and bad service. The staff doesn’t even know how to serve, you can’t serve standing in one place at all corners. The bamboo chicken was boring except the presentation. The gadwal pulav and Raju gari pulav was good, for which the ratings. I would rather have it done at home than paying for bad service and not so special place

Very nice place for some Andhra cuisine. Lots of non veg specialities but some decent veg food as well. For starters ordered Mokkajonna Vepudu (baby corn) which was really nice, could have been a little spicier though. For main course ordered the Gutti Vankaya Pulav which is basically Pulav with Brinjal which was yummy and Mushroom Tomato Curry to go with the pulav, both of which were yummy. Seating is comfortable and service is okay. Valet parking is available.

A nice place to hang out with firends and family. The food and their services was also good.

Had cashew chicken fry, kodi chips, and raju gari biryani. Every thing was good. Good for nonveg lovers. Can go with kids. Cozy place, ambience was good. No music, can enjoy with our conversation and no disturbance. Service was good. People are polite and greeted us.

Ulvacharu is laid out in a traditional and  antique format. Stone pillars , water fall cut out of a tree , windows and doors of old wood and iron , metal ceiling ... brings  a convergence of old and contemporary architecture. Floor is segmented very intelligently and aesthetically  into smaller spaces for privacy. Was here for the soft launch. The guthi vankaya annam( brinjal fry and rice ) just blew my mind. Super thick , rich and flavourful  gravy on top of flavoured rice. Excess oil in this dish is a problem in most places . There was hardly any oil.. just blissful , flavourful gravy 😍 I have had uluvacharu ( tangy , spicy horse gram gravy ) only 2 times earlier in my life. Hadn't liked it on both occasions. My friend forced me to try the Uluvacharu here. After a couple of licks the taste got to me and had multiple servings. It is a very very tangy gravy ... and the taste is  very strong and unlike anything else... difficult to explain, but very enjoyable 😊 Pappucharu annam( special dal rice) is quite deceptive in looks. From the first spoon the spicy,  ghee laced dish is to die for. Some may find this dish on the spicier side, but I find it perfect. Apricot delight - soft layers of pudding on top of double ka Meetha slices below. This is their signature dessert. A very unique, delectable creation. A must have !!! In my view Uluvacharu is a welcome addition to Bangalore and a must try for all Andhra food lovers

This place is my fav since 2013 🥹❤️ Have so many memories attached to their dishes and food. The music here is an add on! Love love love the quality of the food and hospitality of the management 🙌🏻

Worst customer service, you order food while ordering won't speak a word but have been waiting for 45m, now they are saying it will get more delayed. Worst the worst place I have ever been. The famous raju kari kodi pulavo came as a friend rice.

Horrible place. Won't reccommend at all. No one to allot a table . Half the items in the menu aren't available. Simple dishes like eggs are also not available.Rename the dish kodi chips to kodi rubber

No proper lighting, No AC, after we asked to turn on the AC, literally they took 25 mins to do that. Coming to food, very pathetic and coming to services oh my goodness, when we strictly told to serve only vegetarian dishes they served some of my friends non veg and they're least bothered about that. If you want me to describe this restaurant in 2 lines, it would be over priced, bad ambience, worst staff with okish food

This menu is just dummy.. nothing is available...it's like normal hotel with one or two items to eat... Not a restaurant. .. Very small portions, very less options like plate meals at road side.... Earlier it was good and now seems totally waste. Very much disappointed

Worst service. They not even having onions what a crazy waste of coming here n spending money Only for name sake. Think before twice to come here See the attached pic of onions served here as a salad.

Over Hype Restaurant - Over priced food - Quantity of food is too less, Staff acts as if they are too busy !! Ulavacharu could not serve a great Ulavacharu Biryani, Starters Kotha Kodi - few strips of small sliced chiken deep fried - 2 Star 🌟 Bangla Kodi - Small chiken piece between a slice of Potato - Totally unflavored !! - 2 ⭐ Rajugari Kodi Pulao - They served it as Sambar Rice, you can understand how wet it is ... In Kodi Pulao I hardly found 4-5 small chicken pieces. - 1 star ⭐ Vistaraku Kodi Pulao - This is totally dry rice and I dint know what I ate, felt like some pudina rice with 3 small chiken pieces. - 1 Star ⭐ Kinley Water Bottles charge - 35/-, Not following government rules !! Totall unsatisfied with this restaurant !! Never visit ! Waste of money !!

Worst service hardly we cannot enjoy the food they gave it delayed alot, and the highlight is power went and we where supposed to eat in dark without power.Please dont go here and waste your time and money.i would love to give 0 star my bad it is not possible .Worst worst worst tooo expensive zero service

Ulavacharu is a place which is good for main course items. Not so good for starter's. Overall rating - 3/5. The food is not so spicy, neutral tastes.

Vegetarian was not good 😐. Very disappointing..we ordered pachimirchi panner paulo ther no pachi mirchi in the paulo .it's not spicy and flet like eating palak panner

It was very nice and authentic food.really enjoyed everything which we ordered. Very nice hospitality. We seven friends went for get together to Ulavacharu. Everyone enjoyed the dishes. Very nice and tasty. Vistarakula veg Palau is really very tasty, we enjoyed it very well and ordered it twice.

At this place... Traditional ambience, retro telugu hits and authentic telugu food makes us feel happy. Went almost after 5.5 yrs taste of kodi chips, pachimirchi kodi pulav didn't change.. Tasty food and Good service, Prices are on higher side.

Taste was super. But my reason was waiting for table due to crowd. Nice environment, good taste, good presentation everything was almost good for me.

Nothing to boast about.. not anywhere near the hype expected around it.. not happy.. food is served hot n fresh only saving point.

Experience wasn’t good as I was expecting, waiting for food was longer, didn’t provide any kind of sauce with the starter, cleaning wasn’t up to mark but price was high .

Andhra Cuisine at its best.. starters and pulavs are a must try.. Bamboo Chicken is available but needs to be checked for availability.

Visited for a late lunch at 4.30 PM on Christmas. The ambience had dim lighting and 3 Telugu songs playing in loop. The first dish arrived 45 minutes after ordering and the final one arrived 30 mins after the first one. The food was worth the wait with truly delightful Andhra cuisine delivered with quality. Will definitely repeat with the hope that the service is better the next time.

I wouldn't recommend ordering food home from here. There was a dead fly in the food (apparently they do a triple check of the food because-- covid19 so I don't know how a dead fly escaped their triple quality check). Perhaps, better to eat there in the restaurant? Although I am not sure that's any better. When I went there previously, there was hair in their pandumerpakay veg sticks. I put it down to one off incident but a dead fly is a red flag. The department of health, in my opinion, should make sure to go these places and do a hygiene check. I will post photos as well, if Google reviews allows it. Edit 1: the food is delicious, no doubt about that. But ranks lowest (in fact, negative) when it comes to restaurant quality.

This place is very over rated.. The biryanis are not that much great.. Just ok..but very costly compared with the quantity they are giving. The worst part is service here. Though it was not dat much crowdy we have been calling waiter so many times... Some times they will forget few of the things u have ordered.. Need to order again.. Which results in waiting for few more mins..

Recommended place to try pure south Indian food that too Rayalaseema region food. Generally crowded during lunch time. Booking is a must. Koramenu fry, Ragi sangati were good.
