This Mahal is part of Chowmahalla palace. After seeing the palace,it reminded me of the famous Mysore Palace. It has almost the same architecture. The artwork is splendid and marvellous. There is also weaponry displayed at the exit where one can find armours, spears, swords and other weapons. Photography is charged here. Ambience is really great.

It's a good place to visit with family and children. A must visit place when you visit Hydrabad. There are lots of different studio along with amusement park, butterfly zoo and bird zoo as well. It has fun rides for kids ,film sets, botanical garden, scary house, film studio, clean roads artistic fountains and many things. Dance shows and music shows are well organised here. I had visited this place with my parents and I am glad they enjoyed it. Facilities like water ,rest room and restaurants are spread throughout the Ramoji film city. If you want to cover it within one day...do start early as one day is not enough to cover it completely. All relevant information is available on their website, please go through it before visiting.

Visited India for a short 2 week trip and Ramoji Film City day trip was a delight! You would need a whole day dedicated to this! Amazing sets, shows and well organized tours! Good food and restroom facilities! One must visit this place! Somewhat of a resemblance of visiting Universal Studio.. not for the rides but the place resemblance and the architecture of the set up in itself!

Ramoji film city is worth visiting and I am sure it is not possible to complete in one day such a huge film city. Best place to take kids where they can enjoy a lot without any worry of traffic, dust or other. Be early to not miss welcome dance which you really like a lot. We visited bahubali set last year which was about to remove. Evening dance program is also awesome and enjoy with snacks. Better you purchase tickets online to get some discounts and avoiding queue at film city. If you want to visit all places then have to be very fast. Make use of buses facility inside film city to cover most of the places. Japanese garden is one of the mesmerizing one that you can love and enjoy with kids..

The place is amazing, most of the movie sets are here. This place is very big, you should have patience to walk and go, it will take whole day to roam around and see. Be there early to take your tickets, otherwise you have to stay in long ques. When I went there was carnival happening, after 6: 30 pm, it was great to see people dancing around. It is situated on the city outskirts, there are bus facility to this place or u can opt for cab also.

Beautiful..Entry fees are Rs.60 per head per adult and that for child is Rs.40 per head. Ample parking space. Chowmahalla Palace is the palace of the Nizams. Its very beautiful. Mobiles are allowed inside the palace on chargeable base. It is a huge area to cover by walk and takes almost 2 hours to quick visit the palace. So be ready to walk. Full of valuable antiques from the houses of the Nawabs of Hyderabad, the Chowmahalla Palace gives you an inside glimpse into the life of one of the richest families on planet earth.

Awesome trip with gdd environment!! The bus was very comfortable and njoyed a lot with the beautiful sceneries of telangana!! But government should take necessary steps like maintaining meters in every autos...as they are charging unreasonable manner or else visitors may get tricked and may loose their money!

The palace is unique for its style and elegance. Building of the palace began in the late 18th century and over the decades a synthesis of many architectural styles and influences emerged. The palace consists of two courtyards as well as the grand Khilwat (the Dharbar Hall), fountains and gardens. The palace originally covered 45 acres (180,000 m2), but only 12 acres (49,000 m2) remain today. Stucco design, fountains, Quran volumes in different sizes, council hall etc the best heritage to visit in Hyderabad with families

The Tahniyat Mahal where grand receptions were held is scattered with period furniture used by the sixth and seventh Nizams. I ignore the glassy-eyed stuffed tiger and turn my attention to an English bracket clock that is about to strike the half hour. Like its Salar Jung counterpart a scene plays out on the clock face. A turbaned caliph smokes a hookah and his bobbing head keeps the seconds. He is flanked by two men who fan him. Every hour a curtain rises and a toy band saunters in playing a tune before the time keeper in the upper deck emerges to strike the hour with a gong. Frangipani trees give out a heady aroma — I am tempted to rest but I still have three centuries of costumes to glance through. The Aftab Mahal showcases mannequins in golden silk robes sprinkled with roses, and flared kameezes set alight by pink dawns, bright with crescent moons. Almost every garment from court dresses to riding breeches is labelled and spotlit — and every piece is a looker.

This is about AP tourism reservations which is backside of the main building. The person in charge there doesn't know typing and took about an hour to enter the details and making reservation. The Higher authorities must put someone who is well verse in using computer and knows little bit about places in Andhra and Rayalaseema to guide the visitors.
