You have to visit this place in Hyderabad; especially if you are a girl. Lots of stuff to purchase at cheap prices. Make sure you bargain also a little to get the best deal. General bazaar also has a lot of other shops with quality and cheap stuff; things that you don't normally get in your everyday supermarkets. Only bad things is the streets are narrow and there will be bikes buzzing in. They should make it a pediatrian place only. It takes a while to go through the whole bazaar; keep time on your hands.

This is the most pocket friendly,stylish and smart /hi fashion area where one can literally buy everything people need- and I mean it- literally everything..clothes jewellery artifacts shoes,stationery,gifts, housewares/ kitchen items, furnishings, gardening items..you name it and you'll find it. Except wooden furniture and it's bedding. It's best place for everyday and occasional/wedding shopping within budget.

Usually crowded on weekends. Ideal time to shop here is 3.30pm to 6.30pm. You can get every damn cloth here. For any age group any dress time. Designer ornaments etc etc.

This is the best place for shopping. You can get bags, belts, one piece dress and basically you name it and they have it. Also the Kathiawar Stores has got the best collection of cosmetics. This place is for girls and women and we just love it for the variety of dresses and shopping items. One could also get gifts from different shops located in the General Bazaar.

I consider general bazaar,MG road,a shoppers paradise.from a pin to clothes, what is it you don't get there!!! shopkeepers vie with each other to come into their shops. Bargaining is also a must! One should prepare a list of things to purchase. That's it!the stuff one gets here is nothing less than what one gets at malls and that too at a lesser rate.those New to Hyderabad don't miss going here and not to miss the vibrancy of the bazaar.

I looked for dresses for kids but they are of mediocre quality and pricey. In fact the prices are more than that of popular shopping malls. Bad experience.

Good old general bazaar!! You enter into the bazaar by foot and you have a whole world of merchandise b fire your eyes!! Just go on shopping shopping till your legs refuse to move any more. You get whatnot, a five rupees pin to five thousand jewellery!!! You name it they have it!! I am a regular visitor to general bazaar for the past 35 + years. A very nostalgic place!!

One of the popular shopping center in Secunderabad. It is mainly for girls and ladies. They can get wide variety of cloths, jewelry. The streets are narrow and dont have parking place. Carry water and snacks. There are many shops and if you get hungry while shopping, have the snacks. There are no food stalls near the shopping center.

Mostly and majority shops sell ready made cloths sold at reasonable or competitive rates. Mainly women's hosiery. Different variety of cloths with multiple choices are available. Very nice to shop there.

One of the oldest and most favourite shopping area for women. Anything related to women is available at this area. Car parking is a challenge so it purely depends on luck. It's better to come in 2 wheeler/ Cab. Weekends is bit crowded as usual.

You get almost all of the dressing materials and readymade garments. All women wear also available. All the shops and roadside stalls keeps up with the fashion wear. Prices are economical to expensive but depends on how good a person negotiates. The place is always hustling and bustling with people and is crowded in the weekends.

So even for a novice ,without bargain exoerience, it would still be a certain "feel good" and learning experience together. However coming here in a 4 - wheeler will be a nightmare. General bazaar is the place to go for reasonably priced stuff. You get all sorts of things; clothes, trinkets and what not. I visited it after a long time. It was my go to place during my college days and it hasn't changed much.
