Pros: Nims hospital is a really very nice hospital for the middle class, the Doctors are highly qualified with very supportive staff, most of the nephrology and neurology patients coming for treatment. Cons: (Old block) Maintenance, Washrooms are not maintained properly, Crowded, insufficient staff and second-grade employees are very rude behaviour and asking bribes. Suggestions: Govt should take serious action on the system and allocate special funds for hospital development.

To be frank this hospital is one of the primer institutions in Hyderabad which provide high end treatment for neurology and neurosurgery, neurosciences. I've been to this hospital and saw that it's not clean and waste /litter is thrown around corners and neatness isn't maintained and hospital administration should look into this and not because of the brand name NIMS people come here they come to get best medical summary and also to get treated well. Food is also provided for the one who are residing with the patient and only 5 rupees they take for the same and this meal is provided 3 times a day for only 5rupees. The hospital also has Annapurna canteen TS government prestigious programme for all the poor to have a meal at afternoons for rupees 5. The non medical staff at hospital are very rude the hospital administration/HR/personnel manager should also look into this problem seriously.

Worst doctors especially junior doctors. They feel like they are treating with their own money. They will not confirm anything about the treatment but just wastes your time. My mother in law has Parkinson disease with third stage, she need a surgery. The estimated cost is 800000. We cannot effort the amount, so we have applied for the CM relief fund it took almost one month, 4 lakhs are granted. We get all tests and checkups are done from our side(which costed around 30000) Now this hospital staff they are just neglecting and telling kock and bull stories without confirming the date. They just did time pass and again saying to apply for CM relief fund and to get all the tests done once again(still they are not confirming the date). Whoever is the HOD or any head of the hospital has to take the strict action against this. Those who are coming to NIMS they are not rich. Hospital is not providing the treatment for free. It's the government money and neither a doctor nor a staff has any right to mislead and neglect the patient. We don't have any option otherwise no one would ever tolerate this. Senior doctors are really polite. But junior doctors and staff are really rude and careless, they forgot it seems why they are taking salary. Government should also focus on this kind of hospitals.

My mother was admitted for breast cancer stage 1 sadly she never came out alive. The doctors have given Phesgo injections due to which my moms heart was affected. The problem with this hospital is your patient is just a test subject for the students who are learning medicine. The doctors come and go on time like a government duty they donot take ownership of the patients condition. The nurses here are head strong, would not attend to your patient even when they are in critical condition. The ayas wouldnot attend to your patients needs even if you offer 500 rs. I am requesting the higher management here to address these issues for the safety of their patients.

The worst hospital influenced by many politicians. You may be thrown out of bed to a different ward if another MLA referred patient comes into the ward. Housekeeping staff, lady nurses, ward boys and junior doctors, literally everyone are so rude. These people lack basic quality of patience and humbleness to be in the hospital industry. Sometimes ward boys and lady ayas wont listen to even doctor's advice, these housekeeping staff is working at NIMS since many many years, hence they became stubborn and arrogant as they are getting salary and apart from this, they get forcible TIPS from helpless patients. WORST hospital with good experienced doctors. Almost all departments have same issues. Wish Central Government privatise this hospital and remove all the aged staff. They should recruit jobless youth because they need job. My rating: Doctors: 9/10 Hospital cleanliness: 2/10 Ward boys and ladies: 0/10 Cost of treatment: 3/10 Help desk: 0/10 Overall rating: 2/10 Thanks Frustrated patient

Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences also called NIMS is located at Panjagutta in Hyderabad. It is very very famous in Telangana State. This is the multi speciality hospital for all diseases. You can get treatment for any kind of disease here. All the doctors are well qualified. In patient and out patient services are available here. Arogya Sri services also available here in this hospital. But you must come to hospital as early as possible in the morning at 4am or 5am to register your Arogya Sri service. All diagnosis services also available here and doctors allowed their diagnosis reports only. There is huge crowd for everyday and in every department. If you want to get the treatment without any worries or issues just come early in the morning at 4am or 5am. Your consultation will become more easier. For every visit you have to get the stamp on out patient report or card. It is must. Then only you can get the treatment.

I think it's a very good government hospital with very humble and polite staff. Healthcare cost is also very less . Most of the parts over here are very easy to access for everyone and lifts are also available for everyone and in every part of the hospital. Most of the parts have centralized cooling system.

One of the oldest hospitals and medical colleges in the city, it was established in 1961. Since then it has produced several outstanding doctors and specialist surgeons. It is located in a sprawling campus in Punjagutta, in the heart of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. I went to vsit a friend who had been admitted there..

Irresponsible and rude staff. Don't know how to treat patients and the doctors are not at all punctual. This is all because of improper governance and just a mindset of no one can do anything as this is a government hospital. Zero neatness.

Food is very bad. And every house keeping staff will ask for money before and after surgery. If you are planning for free operation .. No way need to visit for 10 times it will cost your time and money. I never suggest this hospital for all.

DONT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL, IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY. Worst emergency medicine department . This hospital would have been better without emergency medicine department atleast without residency program. staff and technicians don't care about patients. Investigations and treatment gets delayed due to carelessness of paramedics and technicians. If your patient have emergency, don't come to this hospital , because , by the time investigations are over , the window period during which we can save patients will be over . Follow up of patient investigations is better in osmania or gandhi. You can't save your patients , or they will be left with lifelong disabilities . DONT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY CONDITION

It is the best hospital for common people. Aarogyasri, EHS, ESI services also available here . Treatment and hospitality are good but for OP patient when he takes IP it takes a lot of time. Long distance people from other districts facing more problems. If the patient got small fever here it takes three days for OP, Doctor consultation and the Reports.

Had so much worst experience ever. From night 7:30 pm to next day night 7:30 pm not even single doctor attended to check. No medication no treatment no fluids just sleeping on bed. We didn’t join on health cards or arogyasri. Rs. 35000/- paid for tests and admission, no treatment done about that test results. I hope whoever can pay get the try to go for a different hospital.

Worst hospital in world. No one cares the patient. You need wait for a lot of time , some hours just to check once by doctor .Went there in emergency no one is checking the patient they kept us waiting for 4 hrs on a old iron strecher later said to go to Gandhi Hospital .Incharge Doctor is the most worst fellow ,he said to wait for 5mins and never came back went to home.Another doctor saw the patient, she will only take the patient if patient is dieing infront.Security and Door staff are so rude and bad behaviour.Security gaurd and Watchmen do politics in Ambulance selection.Security gaurd(emergency door front gaurd) didn't even call ward boys to shift the patient into the ambulance.Because we didn't take the ambulance he said.Even after recommending from politicians,no one cares the patient. There are no enough doctors, enough staff, enough beds. The process is so slow.I think in case of Critical emergency the patient will die while waiting.Never go to this hospital in Emergency otherwise patient will die due to their negligence.I give -100 rating for this hospital.

Consulted Rheumatology department. The doctor I consulted is a very polite person. He looks into and explains all the possibilities of our health condition. That itself eases our mind. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ For his diagnosis. I even observed other doctors there and noticed that all of them very caring. As we were unable to express our symptoms, these doctors showed a lot of patience in understanding our problems. Thank you all for your patience and caring. Hospital is very clean and hygienic. Now the above two ⭐⭐ are for the worst management. too many lines, complicated registration process, heard a patient shouting that security received money for tokens, And EMG staff spilled the beans thinking that I don't understand other languages. They were not aware of right colored wires to use for procedure. They simply waste patients time by doing it carelessly. They did it twice on me. First time they made me wait till evening and as they were in a hurry to leave as it was already time and they said everything is normal. When I went to collect reports they said something went wrong. As they used wrong connectors. And performed it again. That fat fellow ( don't know his name, no offence) is rude. Even the security people keep shouting at out patients to change their places, even though they were quite and took places on steps. If you security people have problem with people sitting on stairs ask your management to allot a separate waiting room for rheumatology OPD. And stop shouting at patients. Finally, We Request the management to make the registration process simple, cut short the queues. And provide some proper training to security and EMG staff.
