I recently stayed at the Amrutha Castle Hotel in Hyderabad for a marathon event, and I wanted to share my experience: 1) Room Condition: Unfortunately, the hotel rooms left a lot to be desired. Everything from the bedsheet to the curtains seemed quite shabby. The spring mattresses were in terrible condition, and I ended up with a backache. Despite the hotel looking impressive from the outside and having decent interiors in other areas, the room's condition is a significant letdown. After all, we spend most of our time in our rooms when staying at a hotel. 2) Breakfast Quality: The breakfast provided was very average. I felt that the cost I paid for the hotel didn't justify the services and the condition of the rooms. In fact, it felt worse than even a simple lodge. To make matters worse, they didn't even provide a kettle, tea bags, or any complimentary amenities. 3) Maintenance Needed: This is an old hotel that desperately needs a lot of maintenance and renovation. The only redeeming factor is its location, which is quite good. Don't be swayed by high ratings, or you might regret your stay. On the positive side, the staff was polite. In summary, my experience at the Amrutha Castle Hotel in Hyderabad was below average. While the hotel may look good from the outside and have a decent location, the room condition, breakfast quality, and overall value for money were disappointing.

I absolutely regret going to place. There is no intercom if we have to contact with reception. There is no geyser in the room, the only time hot water will be available is till 11am. If any guest checks in any time after 11am they will be provided a water heater and that too they just have 1. There are hell lot of MOSQUITOES in the room. I could literally see postmortem of mosquitoes been done on the wall by the previous guest. Mosquito repellent too was not been provided even after requesting 2 time. Cockroaches all over the room and the bathroom. The chair in the room literally felt like it hasn't been cleaned since the inauguration of this place and table was almost on the verge of break down. Lights are very dim in the room. Food is not that good for what it is priced. The only thing which I liked here was TEA nothing else. My overall experience was way to bad.

This is a pathetic hotel. No one should stay in this hotel. A local guest house is better than this place. It's a complete NO. 1.There are no bell boys, you will have to carry your own luggages up the stairs and to the rooms. 2. Full of cockroaches in the rooms. 3. Intercom telephone not available/working. 4. They don't give complementary mineral water, tea, coffee sachets. 5. No kettle. 6. They keep drinking water jar on each floor which has no tap no cover and they serve water in the room from the same for drinking. 7. Breakfast does not have fruits, fruit juices etc. 8. They serve sambhar etc in plastic disposable during breakfast. 9. Plates and cutleries are very old stained. 10. Overall complete property is not maintained. All wooden furniture are termite bitten and cracked. I changed my room thrice. First room television was not working, full of cockroaches. Second room had broken lever in its hand spray jet. It's a request do not book this hotel, even it is available free of cost.

First visit to this hotel located near birla temple .built like ca castle huge property but can be better professionally managed. A dull lobby run of mill coffee shop .rooms were nice big .room service just about okay . Reasonable priced

Unhygenic and pathetic hotel. Not recommended. Rooms have Cockroaches and Rats. The staff is not supportive. Rooms are highly messed up. No clean toilets. No hot water in bathrooms during day time. Hot water is only available in morning. Wifi is not working properly. TVs are not working properly. Swimming Pool is closed. They provide really bad service. Rooms do not even have telephones to call for room service. Better to go for a LODGE rather than this hotel. This is a genuine review of our groups experience at this hotel.

Heritage property owned by Country Club. Excellent location. NOT AT ALL maintained. Rooms are stinking,not whitewashed perhaps for years. Bathrooms are almost unusable,dirty, stinking. Mattress is torn,Linen & Towels are of poor quality. Breakfast so-so. Food limited choices.

Very poor maintenance. Bathroom are not clean. Bad smell coming from the bathroom. There is not hot water available for bath. I booked 2 room for my family they have given both room are not adjacent. After requesting 3 times they given me the adjacent room next day. I absolutely regret to going to this place again. My overall experience are very bad.

8 of us stayed in End of Dec 2023, We regert it now. Everything is very bad. No one take care here. Don't come here.They are fraud. They provided very bad towel and linen. The staff is not skilled. If you call any number, no one will pick the phone.Worst experience booked from country club if they say this is there best property then don’t know how worst will be there average property. Leakages in washroom ceiling and below wash basin. All furniture broken.Food was below standard. Staff is rude and they only understand shouting customers. lift not working properly.In every online portals and media, we can see Amrutha Castle is very beautiful heritage property and its swimming pool was the highlight. But when we going to check in the hotel, we get third rate rooms and services. The rooms were looks like lodge and washrooms are damn dirty.I have been to many hotels. This was my worst experience. They never turn back to any service request and make you look like fools to remind them again and again. Book this hotel only if you want to spoil your vacation at Hyderabad. You will regret staying here.

Rooms dont hv value for money charge. No maintenance of the rooms. Deserves the tarrif of 1000 only. Breakfast is also below avg. Owner is just wasting the value of the property it can earn. Toilets are the worst i hv evr seen. They may b keeping the best rooms for their vip guests. Not at all recommended.

this place was not good at all, did not live up to the expectation and reviews, we had to change our room 6 times, the operating staff is good and polite. very very limited food options near the hotel and the hotel's restraunt is very overpriced, our rooms lock broke and we were not compensated for our time and inconvenience. the gym facilities are not good at all there's smell in the gym, swimming pool was alright. NOT MAINTAINED AT ALL, we were wrongly charged for food in the room, not a good location at all. window view was just a wall, not satisfied at all.

It was horrible experience! Room was so dirty and cockroaches were present and was poorly maintained. Lights were taking load and getting off all the time. Bathroom were getting loaded with water due to drainage. Food was awful and they didn’t even have cutlery to serve with. And telephone was broken. Lift wasn’t working properly! Basically, Total experience was disgusting. Don’t waste your money!!

Wondering how this hotel can be a 3 star!!. Disappointing checkin with egoistic replies at the reception, poor maintenance, water clogs in bathroom basin, kept kettle in the room only when demanded. Being a member of country club visited first time after 3 years and realized that if this is the show at their corporate office what would be the situation of other properties. I wasted money on membership

The vintage feel of the stone modelled castle with rich ambience brings a whiff of delight and urge you to explore the place further. The stone seating with plush cushions and around the fountain in a visitor exclusive lobby is set in a relaxing posture. Courteous staff are available to make you feel at home. Buffet and alacarte was available but can be improved further by adding more dishes to the menu.

Super pathetic Experience... book of you like fungal smell even after you leave this! I wish I could give a negative rating... this is for service ... this best example of how well built property can be most badly maintained! Food quality also goes beyond the worst grade! Just come here to click pics and go away!!!

Worst experience so far, Hotel look Good from outside but from inside mantaince is needed. The worst part of my stay was I handed over the keys in the morning at the reception and when I reached at night to my room the towels were not changed, water bottle was empty, washroom was not cleaned, linen was not changed, not even re arranged, soaps in the washing was not refilled. Except the food everything was worsted. You need to call multiple times to the reception to get your work done. Surely never going to stay here again and recommend others not never consider to stay here.

Room was not even cleaned. Even though we checked in late, they didn't even bother to clean the room and washrooms, change sheets and towels. The most pathetic place ever to stay. We have been fooled by the Country Club, promising good experience and stay. The representatives Sumit Papani and Janardhan promised us that it would be a wonderful experience but it was all a false promise. They cheated us. They will just talk sweet and nothing else. Never ever go for Country Club. It is just a scam.

THE EXPERIENCE I HAD WAS THE WORST EVER!!! There was No HOT Water the bathroom were getting clogged up with water. The bathroom were dirty. The ceiling in the bathroom was broken. The room sheets were unchanged. The floor of the rooms was not clean. What is this idiocy! When I left I looked at the hotel with a look of absolute floccinaucinihilipilification. Do I recommend to stay at this hotel? NO! Absolutely not!

THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL IN HYDERABAD. I RESERVED A ROOM FOR TWO DAYS AND PAID FIVE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED. AT THE TIME OF RESERVATION IT APPEARS THAT AMENITIES LIKE TOILETARIES, WATERBOTTLES, HOT WATER KETTLE, WIFI ETC. IN THE ROOM THEY PROVIDED TWO ONE RUPEE CHICK SHAMPOO AND ONE MEDIMIX SMALL SOAP, NO KETTLE NOTHING . BED SHEETS ARE VERY DIRTY AND ROOM IS FULL OF DUST ANDDEBRIS. I MADE A COMPLAINT TO THE RECEIPTIONIST AND RESTRICTED MY ROOM FOR ONE DAY. FUNNY THING IS THEY DONT HAVE MONEY TO REFUND ME. THEY ASKED ME TO COME AFTER 2 PM. AGAIN THE SAME SITUATION THEY DONT HAVE MONE TO REFUND. WHEN I SHOUTED THE RECEPTION PERSON WENT AWAY AND BRING TWO THOUSAND TO REUND ME. REMAINING I JUST LOOSE. I REQUEST EVERY ONE BEFOR CHECK IN TO THIS HOTEL PLEASE OBSERVE THE FECEILITIES. DONT LISTEN THE BOGUS WORDS CREATED BY THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT.

Complete getaway from Mundane Business Class Hotels A Centrally located 4 star Boutique Hotel in the City of Pearls and Minarets Hyderabad Built on the lines of a Bavarian Castle-Schloss Neushwanstien, this abode of royal luxury and gorgeous grandeur's is constructed in medieval European Architectural style and is in front of the Opp to Telangana State Secretariat, Hyderabad. this Hotel is Central Located in the Heart of the City... Looks are often deceptive as we say, the front view of the hotel is Royal, but the rooms are not at all acceptable. Its high time they should renovate. Food inside hotel is good, but not worth for the package. I booked a superior room, which was not at all superior with 2 single beds which is old and was not at all spacious... Location is good.. very near to Birla Mandir and Secretariat. Food is good and ambiance too. Service needs to be improved. Needs to improve vegetarian food range. Staff needs to be pay attention on customers. They are not much aggressive...

Staff is unsupportive, rude for enquiries. Not Recommended at all. Be Careful.

NOT MUCH OPTION TO THE BREAKFAST AND DINNER GIVEN, IT WAS ALMOST SAME EVERYDAY... ALSO THE FOOD DID NOT LAST FOR ALL GUESTS... MORE THAN COUPLE OF TIMES, THE ANSWER GIVEN WAS THAT THE FOOD IS OVER... We had a buffet and while we were eating, the waiter was watching us, so reluctant to give what we asked. So late service. So a misery kind of waiter - when we ordered more food, we saw him tell the waitresses to put ice creams inside. Very few options. The taste was okay. Very dissatisfied

After reading the reviews,I was hesitant to book however my decision was great.. turned out to be a great way to spend the extended weekend.. the location is a gem.. decent service considering the rush.. good food.. overall loved it

Very wierd experience with this hotel, we have booked some 20 rooms. roome are like a 200 Rs lodge, dirty bathrooms, intercom not working, service was pathetic and needs multiple reminders. Linens are dirty and unhygenic and seems like unwashed for years. Cocroaches are roaming like their pets in room. Hotel looks lika a castle from outside and stable in rooms. Not at all recommended

Excellent location. Very old property Not maintained properly. The rooms were quite spacious with good facilities. My kid has enjoyed as it is castle theme. The bath area wall was very pathetic. It was full stains like roadside toilets. I felt not to enter but had no choice. I got sneezing when we were in the bed. Stinky.

Firstly the manager does not behave well with the customers and very rude. Inspite of the knowing the fact that hotel is in pathetic condition, he still argues with customers and has a very rude behaviour. Premium hotel that has substandard qualities. 8 men stayed there paying premium pricing, to list out our stay -The rooms have never been painted probably from the day hotel was built. -multiple reminders to get towels , got it with curry stains - bedsheets had blood stains, the matress has never been replaced the springs are almost out poking you. - toilet has stains, our public toilets are better then this. - complementary breakfast was hopeless, even PGs serve better food. - no hot water, sinks were broken, water pipes were broken. And this was the case with all 4 rooms. Other guests complained about the same. Inspite of concerns raised no one cared a damn. Finally, we revolted and did not want to pay anything , discussed about filing a complaint with police and probably raise it with consumer court. We were tired fighting with this absurd hotel staff and they asked us to vacate the same night or pay 40%. Since it was the last week of December we couldn't get any other hotels ,we paid 40% charges and vacated early morning back to Bangalore.We were 8 men and we could make them listen atleast. There were families who kept complaining and no one cared. This hotel was the only gripe in our stay throughout AP and TS. location is the only advantage here.

Rooms are dirty, smelly and ac is also not working. 4. Food here is very bad and unhygienic. 10 years back it was a favourite holiday destination in Hyderabad especially for my children. But now hardly any maintenance and very much disappointed. It lost its charm.

The services provided there were excellent. Whenever I needed anything, or required assistance the staffs were always ready to ensure that my needs were attended to. Also, they always made sure I was comfortable. I'd definitely recommend this awesome hotel to friends and family, I'm sure they will like it as much as I do. Thank you amrutha catle

Horrible place. The linen are dirty, there are cockroaches in the room. Bathrooms have no exhaust fan or wi dow. They remain wet. Service level is pathetic...

The location of our resort was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, we just need to cross the road and there is a direct path leading to the HusenSagar lake.

Had the most stupendous views for 2 lovely days. This place has got amazing stay experience, hospitality and delicious food. We had all meals booked and that proved to be a right decision. They have a wide variety and something for everyone. You will see that the entire place has got mix of western and traditional touch. And there is a lot to explore within the palace.

Good hotel located at a prime location with all the important places nearby. Room are spacious having all the basic amenities and clean. Hotel staff is good and friendly. Overall a good experience with family.

Old is gold | Not Everytime | Recently i visited this hotel for my office meeting i thought it might be a good option but the reality is completely different looks wise hotel is good .. Sinking Old mattresses , stinking linen, no hot water, AC no Cooling only noise windows can't close, mosquitoes, cockroaches, insects. Only saving grace is polite staff. Being a Country club member visited this place recently and had a bad experience Worst service - Had called a day prior to visiting this place and had requested for early checkin for which they agreed, but when i visited the hotel at 9 they asked me to wait till checkin time which was at 11. They didnt even provided a place to freshen up. Worst food - They charged 800+ per person for B/f and Dinner, and they had very less items in buffet. All 3 days the menu was almost same. No hygiene - We were in 5th floor and not even a single day the floor was cleaned even after informing the staff. 'Don't care' attitude by staff - I informed them about the bad food and wrote by feedback in feedback form. Also noticed that many negative feedbacks from several visitors. When I asked about it, they said 'Yes Sir' we are aware of it!!!. I never suggest anyone to visit this place. Country club cheating its members

I would rate it a 3star hotel from my experience, it had many varieties of rooms to choose from, a nice swimming pool and a spa. The staff is Friendly, room service can improve. Food is above average but not too great. Beds differ from single to double beds, the view from the room depends on which room you stay in. Overall it is a good place to relax and chill in Hyderabad. The location of the hotel is the best part about it.

This is s medieval themed castle. The corridors, rooms etc are all designed to look like a castle. It has both large and small rooms. The rooms are comfortable. But most of the bath rooms lack modern amenities. The breakfast buffet is disappointing. The staffs are helpful. Overall am average hotel to stay in.

Maintained horribly. Rooms were quite small and everything was old and decrepit. The bathrooms did not have hot water and the shower was broken. Being Country Club member, I was in this facility during last month along with family. Stay was comfortable and food was good. Location of this Hotel is I am seeing may reviews writing rooms are not good, not maintained cleanliness etc etc.. But to me for the money which we are paying its good. It gave diffrent expereince of styaing in catstle. To certain extent it needs some more maintenance but if you call hotel staff they are helping to the best to solve the issue. You may not get the 4* or 5* hotel staying experince here but its like a styaing in your own facility or home. My kids liked swimming pool very much and the swimming pool care taker was young and very much courticious the help. Property is OLD but to the extent its maintained well. I would say Good Location Hussain Sagar, Birla Mandir very near Good resturants are avaialbe nearby Public transport, Taxi, Auto availabe at Gate Over all good experience. Again to be its Value for Money

One of the best hotel design in Hyderabad . The rooms are neat and clean, the front desk staff polite and nice. We had the variety of dishes that provided by restaurants staff . We stayed 2 nights here . We enjoyed our stay

Food taste not upto the standard. Should improve. Located in the heart of city which is advantageous. Country club should make all efforts to improve and improve the properties to regain the confidence of their stakeholders and clients. Food served at Bandhipur resorts is very nice.

The hotel is nice for the stay. the interior is just great. Feels like living in a real castle.The rooms are good but could be better as it's one of the oldest hotels in Hyderabad you will feel it once you enter the room. We stayed here for 3 days as we got a good deal online. But if you directly visit the hotel their charges are high. The washroom was clean but the shower was not working, We called the reception and they got it fixed. Room service is also good and fast. The food is also good in its inhouse restaurant and the ambiance is nice.

Worst ever Experience of my life for staying in hotel.... AC doesn't work properly and also the cell phone provided in room doesn't work and when asked to check they always give the reason of updation. Room's cleanliness is seriously a Big Zero. When we were about to check-in many of the customer were like you are in Hell (Fas gaye aap log).

My recent visit to Hyd. I stayed at Hotel Amrutha Castle. The ambience is unique. The hospitality and the service given by the staff is very polite. The restaurent ambience and taste of the food was appriciated.
