Not at all maintained. Many migratory birds visit this lake in different seasons. But no one is bothered about those. Below are a few, shot by me.

It is nice green patch inside concrete jungle. At saturay morning there many activities conduct by the lack rivivers. Which education activity bith for elder and youngers. There r nice view and banches to sit. It is green n clearn. Parking is there. No wash roon around. Pls carry Food and water .

It’s normal lake around neknampur place where you can spend time in evening for fresh air and you have benches to sit and lake view was good but mostly you can spend half an hour around this place and this is normal city park.

Small lake called neknampur lake too. It has access through a small Dias created at one place through a narrow opening which is easy to miss sometimes. The deck is very close to the water, and the experience is as good as standing on the lake in a way. Mosquitoes can be a menace however. So load yourself up with mosquito repellents before you get here.

Its improving day by day lake is being cleaned and surrounding area are now maintained by ghmc with the support of dhruvansh ngo its turning into a beautiful place to visit very hard and dedicated work by druvansh ngo team

It's big water body but less water and need to maintain properly If you want to see the nests then reach this place where you may find many nests on a tree beside the mandir . Amazing creations and the structure of these nests good at day may be very dark at night .

Very calm serene lake. Cleaning is required . Can see some beautiful bird species.

It's a huge lake but covered with hyacinth most of the area. There is inflow of drainage which is the reason behind the pollution of the lake. Due to the pollution all the surrounding colonies are facing huge mosquito menace and unbearable foul smell. It's impossible to come outside the home during the evenings. All the people in the area are prone to diseases because of the mosquitoes. People in the surrounding colonies are fighting to get the lake cleaned and stop or divert the drainage inflow.

This location is different from the Lake park which was developed by ghmc.

Neknampur lake is among 19 tanks taken up by GHMC for development and beautification. However, the lake is still being used as a dump yard.

It is a wonderful water body in Golconda's backyard. Many different birds can be seen in and around it. There is an urgent need to uplift and maintain it before it is completely destroyed. Floatilla association has taken certain steps by planting saplings and contributing to certain maintenance. While the effort can be applauded it is not enough and needs support, suggestions & participation from local panchayat authorities and other dwellings on the periphery of the lake.
