I write very few reviews, but this visit forced me to compliment the sales guy(Ijas) who patiently handled all my requests. I took alot of time of his to buy a present for my wife. Malabar Gold and Diamonds store present in Somajiguda is a premium outlet of Malabar, spreading across 2 floors and have huge seating areas. The place has separate floors for gold, diamonds and platinum. The ground floor is mostly equipped with bridal rings, ear rings, chains, lockets, bracelets etc of Gold. The first floor is stuffed with platuimun choices and is mostly free. The staff count is too high also as the place houses lakhs of designs and pieces. The range starts from mere 3k to crores. It just depends on your appetite and black money I guess. 😅 Also, the place is well lit, secured and have good backup of security. The place houses good bridal collection in particular along with heavy works of chains and consider giving good making charges as the gold silver rates are standard though. Recommended place.

Had a good shopping experience at malabar gold and diamonds. The bangles seemed like a good balance of indo western design. Mr sohail ali who showed us the pieces was quite hospitable and patient the whole time.

It was a lovely experience in malabar for purchasing gold. 1. Rinky- I met her the very first day when i went for booking gold... such a lovely and kind person she is, she made me understand the protocol of advance payment for booking and then I booked advance payment next day. but unfortunately I had to go to Bangalore for my father's treatment and due date was approaching and I had no idea what to do. so I had to ask her if I pay online will she keep my original receipt. Nowadays where people don't take any responsibility it was she who kept my 2 advance payment slip for atleast 6 months till the date I was back from Bangalore for purchasing gold. Well I must say we don't find people like Rinky these days. 2. Khawaja- I want to thank him for all his lengthy calculations and each time patiently calculating my advance payment with different gold rates and handing the original receipt to Rinky each time. I'm thankful to him that he never said no and also for letting me know about gold rates and all the different schemes ( especially the 11 month scheme). The good part is that even if you call or text them for asking gold rate that too they respond so humbly. 3. Chary- last I want to thank Mr. chary for showing all the beautiful and lovely designs for my wedding collection. Showing all the designs that we have asked for and spending his valuable time. Well I must say without these 3 people of Malabar it couldn't have been such a wonderful experience for me. I want to thank each one of you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Malabar for such a lovely experience.

Good to buy gold jewellery as u can trust the brand Malabar. Price of gold is less when compared to market as they give us Kerala state gold price. But the store is too much crowded. Its better to visit in morning hours as we can select as per our choice by taking more time. In evening hours as customers are more we would not get enough time to select.

The service is extremely good. Huge variety and the representative show with patience. We have been with Malabar for 15 years now. You should have something like a loyalty bonus or discounts for your regular customers. When customers buy multiple ornaments, you are giving big bag. But if that has zip to it, it will ensure safety of the items purchased.

This is my 4th time here. And it has always been a wonderful and smooth experience with Malabar. Their collection is really good and staff are very prompt and knowledgeable. Special mention to Bangari Shiva Krishna, who assisted us in our last two purchases. He has been very enthusiastic and made our visit pleasant. We soon hope to be back for another purchase here. :)

Worst experience I ever had . No one there to assist us . We visited on Thursday I walked in with two kids and to my surprise they didn’t even offered water until I asked and the First Lady who attended us was hurry when she got her old customer who was supposed to buy diamond jewelry, just handover to other sales women like a trash . But the last one was good we have selected necklace and suppose to buy . Joined there scheme but now I regret of joining them . Today wanted to buy bracelet but definitely not here gonna buy in tanishq instead . Respect and hospitality matters most and how you are valued too , sometimes price doesn’t matter . Don’t judge persons by their attire. Very sad . I even bought jewelry in Malabar from different country too this store is worst. I was fool to go by looking at their reviews. Worst experience I ever had . Got bangles from GRT a week ago , their customer service is far far better and the best . My bad , once am done with 11 months scheme no more looking into this store

Designs and collection is great. Loved the varieties and puchased satisfactorily. But came across a rude behaviour of the sales man named Tanhaji. As his mask was not covering his not, I asked him politely to cover the same. In turn he replied and argued rudely to me.

Collection is good but the floor manager needs to be trained in basic etiquette. Sales executives are patient but manager john acts like hes the owner when hes not even fit to be a sales person. Doesnt even know basic knowledge about gold and filthy behaviour. Instead of publicity with film actors malabar should invest in hiring good staff and probably training them in people management. Street vendors are better than them. Period!!!!

We happened to visit somajiguda malabar gold shop. Waited for more than 30 minutes and none bothered to enquire what we wanted. Every salesman looked busier than the reality. Got fedup with their callous attitude and left the showroom to find far better inviting showrooms around. Malabar should learn better customer friendly lessons.

The huge collection of gold and precious gems is a treat to eyes and overwhelming with choices. We had to exchange our old gold. The sales person took us to the melting station and the process was transparent and scientific. We got a good value for our gold and discount too. All must visit to see the largest and latest collection of traditional Indian jewellery. Plus the rates are standard throughout the country.

I always prefer Malabar though I visited many jewelry stores Malabar is my all-time favorite store. They have a pretty good collection. They always come up with trending and unique designs. Salesperson plays a major key role for the successful store. Here I need to mention Mr. Soheal Ali, the salesperson in the punjagutta branch. The most patient guy I have ever seen in any store. He is a very enthusiastic person and he always makes sure to satisfy customers with his work and respect towards the customer. And I request Malabar to don't lose such good staff.

They have hired inexperienced young girls who are rude and blunt and busy chatting with each other instead of offering a seat to the customer. The salesmen are equally disinterested in showing anything. On my recent visit I felt extremely insulted. Teach some manners to your staff.

I would say that it is among the best jewellery stores in Hyderabad. Extra facilities (such as prayer rooms, rest rooms, feeding room) are great. The exhibit is good enough for a viewer/customer. Big carpet area is used to exhibit all the stock. I'd recommend any one to visit the store in a weekday rather than weekend as it is very crowded and the staff gets too busy on weekends.

Recently I purchased a diamond bracelet from here. For diamond collection I would definitely recommend this store and our sales girl is very patient till the end. As she is having less knowledge on what we are looking for, I asked another salesman to guide. But I observed that they are not interested in engaging a customer, I didnt like that.

Most useless customer service ever at a jewelry store. Most useless management. Staff pretty useless. Nobody cares once you enter. Heavily staffed but they are all in their own world not attending any customers. Upon asking they’ll be argumentative. And you’ll have to put them in their place. You’ll have to wait & sit around for someone to come to you. Pretty stark difference from other stores here, where you’ll be immediately helped by someone after greeting. Who in the right mind will go to a jewelry store & wait around, argue with, to give them business?
